Cirque du Soleil was awesome! We had a really good time. Afterwards, we went to Disney Quest for my nephew.

My girls are leaving today. They both have things going on that they needed to get back early. We were scheduled to go do Blizzard Beach this morning but Chuck is tired of being in the sun. My sister didn't enjoy Typhoon Lagoon so nixed Blizzard Beach for her & the kids. Chuck and I are taking my girls to breakfast and Downtown Disney. They leave at 12:50.

I can totally relate with Garrett. I love my ticker... 66 more days! However, it means that in 70 days the kids go back to school. Right after we get home, they go back & I don't even want to think about it either!!!

Elin - Mom said DS was upset that we were arguing. We have been arguing for almost 18 years. That's how it works with us! So he went off to his room and called her on his cell phone. That phone has been FAR more trouble than it's worth.

It amazes me what will set people off. Bob and I have been arguing for more than 40 years now, 35 of them as husband and wife. Usually the girls ignore us, but occasionally they will become exasperated with us. Often it is with me, actually.

Maybe you should let DS know that from now on you will call people every time his behavior is disappointing...

I was sure there would be some middle-of-the-night bantering between Mo's sleep study and Jen not being able to sleep well!

I've been wide-awake for a couple hours now. Usually I can fall back to sleep after a trip to the bathroom, but Kevin's snoring a little too loudly this morning and the birds are chirping, too. At least the cicadas are quiet!

I got smacked in the head with a lost cicada yesterday.... boo! I hope you can get a nap when the kids do!

I did! The tech kept coming in and telling me to hop in bed with Mo. No, I'm just fine thanks!







I think I managed about 2 hours of sleep. Sorry you were up and couldn't go back to sleep. I hate those, but it's always nice to have some "me" time too.



Some but I see a nap in my future!!


I have no idea what the study showed. The tech did not volunteer any information so I am clueless for the next 7-10 days. I hope we get something out of it. Molly didn't sleep as she normally does, she stayed in one spot just about the entire night and didn't snore at all that I heard. I think by the time she fell asleep she just crashed hard as she had been up since 6am.

Molly, what a brave girl! Robyn, I hope you get some sleep.

I wish I hadn't had so much time on bedrest, I would have just done one and been done with it!

Sounds as if you all had a great evening and a pretty relaxing day ahead of you, Vicki. I always am sad when our girls leave us when we are on vacation. It isn't that we don't have a good time without them, it just is different. I hope you and Chuck continue to enjoy the alone time with your sister, Mom and niece and nephew!

The weather is nice, in that at least I can check my mail without my breath being taken away immediately upon opening the door! It's still warm, but much less humid!

Physically I still am a disaster, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A huge turning point for me (aside from knowing they could still come before Monday, haha ) was my OB walking out of the room and telling me she'd be in to talk to us after the anesthesiologist was finished on Monday. Maybe I'm actually going to be un-pregnant and finally meet these girls after all!

That's how we were last year. This time we'll have a week at home before DS has to go back to school.
I am really looking forward to the trip. DH is ready to go right now. I think DS is excited, but he doesn't really say much about the trip. WE watched some water park thing on the Travel Channel last night so he was interested in the Typhoon Lagoon segment.

Speaking of Typhoon Lagoon...
I read in the Unofficial Guide that the shark thing is $20 in addition to park admission. Somehow I managed to miss that it is an extra charge. (I know, it's Disney, duh!) That was really the only thing I made me question if we should go to TL instead of BB, but for $20 extra per person we're fine with BB!

If you want to do the regular shark swim, it is included in the cost of admission. The $20 is for a longer swim. We love the wave pool at TL, so we keep making the decision to go back there instead of BB. We went to BB only once when the older kids were pretty little. Maybe we'll try it again next time.

I love all three, but my favorite is #3. Ds said #3 is his favorite, too.

No! Working is not allowed while on vacation!!!!!!!!

I have one thing that I have to do. I get paid for it. It is scheduling for the project I'm on. I have someone trained to do it in my absence but the schedule for next week is very complicated and they really aren't prepared to handle that. I'm spending time every week for the next 6 weeks training them so they can handle the complicated one in the future.
