Does anyone watch John and Kate plus Eight? I'm wondering if I could pull off her haircut. It looks great on her and seems like it would be easy, I just wonder how I would look with it :confused3

I think you could. The thing that is throwing me is that I am used to seeing your hair curly. If your perm has grown out then you could do that haircut with no problem! :)

Robyn - Have fun today! Sounds like lots of CAKE in your future. Mmmm. Cake! I hope you guys can get a diagnosis for Molly soon!

Hey everyone-There is no way I am catching up on these 45 pages while im away, but I had some internet time and wanted to stop by and say hi!
I am having an AMAZING time! I have gotten to see whales and dolphins off my balcony. I went dogsledding. I got on stage in the magic show. I won Bingo. I saw glaciers. I cant believe there are only 2 more full days left!
I have taken SO many pcitures! I cant wait to tell you all about it! Hope everyone is donig well!

Sounds soo great, Jen! Can't wait to see and read all about it when you get back!

Oh, great! Those are the years we are starting. I have to laugh, though. We had the 5th grade girl's maturation program a few weeks ago, and ever since then, whenever she's in a bad mood she blames it on puberty. Alan was trying to reason with her one night, and she said, "I'm having a mood swing, ok?" If it wasn't so annoying, it would seriously make me laugh!

They did the whole puberty talk thing in 4th grade here a couple of weeks ago. BigSis has used those lines on me several times in the last two weeks as well. :rotfl:

My perm has grown out a lot, but it is pretty easy to remove a perm anyway I've done it before.

4...and 3 were clear and one had what may have been the start of a fracture....he'll know better next week. He's the best bone doctor in the building and other than not gettting my joke about the laundry fighting dirty was very thorough and I liked him.

Well, I like the joke! :rotfl: I hope the Vicodin is helping already and that there's no real fracture in the end. Take care of yourself! :grouphug:

Here is an interactive map that someone on Chris' Dad thread posted. I thought it was interesting. Chris and Colby are having fun finding all their favorite things

Wow -- it's great to hear from you. The trip does sound amazing!

so I may or may not have a broken wrist:confused3 Right now my thumb is splinted....at the very least I have contused my bone at the most I have a fractured wrist. I got vicodin and an order to come back in a week when the swelling has gone down. He took pity on me and ordered the vicodin when I told him it was my writing hand:rotfl2:

Oh my -- I hope it's better today. Hang in there!

Hi all...Just wanted to pop in for a minute. It's been busy around here and since it's been beautiful outside the kids have wanted nothing other than to be outside. I've also baked 3 cakes so far with one more to go. My cousin's graduation party is Friday night and she asked me to make her cake. I also made one that I will decorate for Emma's last Brownie meeting tonight. I figured I also make one for all the parents too. That one is done but it turned out so good that I am going to make it for my cousin's party as the decorated cake is pretty small.

And tomorrow is Emma's field day at school (Eric and I are helping out- me in the morning and him in the afternoon) and in the evening Emma and I are camping with her Brownie troop as part of their bridging ceremony. My mom is taking Mo and Lucy to my cousin's party as Eric has to go to Emma's soccer practice.

And an update on Molly: She has been fever free since Tuesday morning. She complains every once in a while about her mouth hurting but seems fine otherwise. She saw her ENT yesterday and had her ear tubes pulled out. We also pushed for allergy testing and/or a sleep study. The doctor said her nose shows no signs of allergies- it's not irritated. He agreed that she sounds very congested though and thinks that the sleep study will give us more answers. I have a feeling that she will have sleep apnea, Emma did and Molly has pretty much the same issues. It frustrates me that she is always congested and we can't figure out what the cause is.

I hope everyone is well. Sending 's and :wizard: your way.

I hope Molly is still feeling okay. PD for testing to see why she's always congested.

The boys are off to school. Hunter has a field trip today and he was very excited. I made sure that he was well medicated for his foot issues and dressed in plenty of layers as it is in the 30s now and will be near 80 this afternoon. He wasn't thrilled with all the layers, but he'll thank me later. Nick had the runs last night and he is very nervous that it will come back at school, but the concert is tonight and he wants to go so he went to school.

I will start painting pretty soon. I'm hoping to get a lot done today :wizard:

I hope Hunter has a great time and that Nick doesn't have more stomach issues. Good luck on the painting!

Elizabeth -- it sounds like you didn't have to stay as long at the band concert as you feared. I hope the tooth is okay and your mouth isn't sore today. You'll be happy to know that my family will definitely be taking more than one bag on our trip in a couple of weeks, and we might be taking almost as much as Kristine. DC will be so muggy that we'll have to take a couple of outfits a day, though I don't have a problem with doing wash on vacation. Want to come pack for me since you're still off next week? :rotfl:

Today is the last day of school. Jake's awards ceremony is this morning, and Randy is going to it. Andrew's is this afternoon, and I'll go. We have a few errands to run, then both boys have 7:30 baseball games tonight. I'll work 1/2 day tomorrow, take the kids to swimming lessons, then we'll finish packing and head to Waco for Andrew's baseball tournament this weekend. He'll play three games on Saturday -- 9, 2:15 and 7:30, though the last game is always running behind. I'm so not looking forward to this, but I know he'll have a great time so I need to stop whining.

Have a good day everyone! :)

Very nice video. Chris, Colby and I enjoyed it. I thought that things were very different behind the scenes :confused3

I know! I wish they would have shown more, but from what I could see it was definitely different than (all of the ways) we had imagined!

I wish they would have shown how Crush's lips sync to what the man is saying. It's amazing.

Yes! Really, I was a bit confused about Crush's movement in general. It seems he only had one little thing to control it (without trying to give too much away ;)) and his movements are so unique, and extensive with each show! :confused3

Amy, are you posting from Robyn's?

:teeth: Thanks for checking in! Have a great time at field day and camping! I hope the sleep study provides some answers for Molly's congestion. When is it scheduled?

Well, it looks like a busy day for me today. The older 2 girls left for their dad's last night. They may come home briefly tomorrow, but probably in the evening, then they're off to Florida with his family until June 12. I'll have BabyGirl today, but she's been sleeping up a storm so that won't be hard. Guess that means I moving on to packing boxes!

Terra and I are going to try and get the playroom all packed for their move this weekend. Terra and Cinderella picked out a basket of toys each to have out and available during the packing and unpacking process so everything else can get boxed up. I'm also going to try and get the kitchen packed up so that I can make sure I have access to the things I need between now and when the new kitchen is finished in about a week or so. Good thing the older girls will be gone. Terra and I can eat sandwhiches at lunch and dinner at home and BabyGirl can still have baby food mostly so the kitchen shouldn't be an issue. I may need to go on a crockpot recipe search though if there are any more delays there.

Then tonight I've got to pack for us. We're leaving for Oklahoma with Mom, Dad and Rachel straight from work tomorrow. Dad's family is having a reunion on Sat and then we'll have breakfast with some/most of mom's family before heading back on Sunday. Quick trip, but it should be fun as we'll see family we haven't seen in years.

I'll try to get on again tonight to catch up before we leave. In case I don't, have wonderful trips Kristine and Glynis!!! (Did I miss anyone?)

No, spaghetti sauce was my specialty yesterday, remember? I used 12 cans of tomato paste! :rotfl:

Actually, cake and cupcakes are probably on the agenda this weekend though, since today is my MIL's birthday and we have a neighborhood picnic on Sunday evening. :teeth:

Good morning DDA! :wave2: Hope it's a good day for you all!

Wow you have been busy.

I'm glad to hear Molly is doing better. Did Emma outgrow her apnea? What did they do for it? How is the congestion related to it? I'm asking all of these questions because Bob is concerned that Bethany may have allergies. She is always getting some sort of congestion and/or ear infections. She has tubes as well.
