Hope you enjoyed your day Jen!

Good morning everyone!
Ive been outside at our yard sale all morning and ithink im going to lay by the pool.
i cant believe the cruise is in a week! I have so much to do and im so excited!

Enjoy dinner tonight Anne Marie!

Sorry about the childcare you will be dealing with this summer. I love my inlaws, but I would be very upset if they did this to me. They should have asked you first :sad2:

Today we are taking both moms out for dinner as a late Mother's Day celebration.

They haven't seen the pictures from our trip

since they both don't have a computer so we can show them today so they can pick out the ones they want printed up.

My evil BIL & SIL

11.gif
will be here in 2 weeks. Seems they don't like the daycare for their 2 kids where they live so they are going to come up here & have my MIL, my other BIL, & me watch them for the summer (8 weeks)....hello????Did anyone ask me?
3.gif
I think my MIL volunteered me. I love my niece & nephew & I don't mind having them here, but #1 BIL
11.gif
should have asked me himself,, & #2 they have always taken advantage of my MIL & are down right nasty to her. They expect everyone to help them (with child care & financially) since they can't get themselves on their feet alone but remain toxic to all who are around them.

#3 I have to figure out what to do with my own kids while I am working this summer.

He's not here, but I still think like a nurse don't forget, even though I'm off work right now ;) My BP has been fine, running around 116/76 or so -- just slightly higher than my baseline, and still great. No other symptoms besides a bit of swellling, but that's normal for pregnancy -- I just haven't had any yet since I haven't gained much weight, haven't had increased BP at all, etc. Don't worry... as an RN who worked the NICU for a while, I'm more than paranoid for myself, so I won't let anything go unnoticed if it needs to be ;)

of course I did not forget your a nurse;) glad to hear your B/P is fine. Yes swelling is normal but when you say all of a sudden swelling you know what came to mind immediately.

Ditto!

Tom I love the bag & wallet, great job :thumbsup2

TOM! Quit your job already!!!!!!! :faint:

Seriously, those are fantastic. You could make a fortune, and it seems there isn't anything you can't make! I'd try and get that started ASAP, if it were me! :thumbsup2

WHAT SHE SAID!

Elin - Congrats to Kristen! I bet you get all choked up when you see her, (just like I did)

There are definitely good things about having grown daughters.

I cried off and on throughout the entire ceremony. There are many reasons I did, but the most important one is that I was so very proud of her.

I agree 100%, Debbie, that having grown daughters is a delightful outcome to raising little girls! Kathrin and Kristin and I left Bob far behind in our conversations over the past 24 hours. Luckily he doesn't mind.... he just sat there and grinned at us. :goodvibes

JcPenney had a great sale so we tried to find a few more bottoms for Abi....dang if 8 more bottoms and 16 dresses and we come out with 1 dress for Abi. Cassidy also got one dress.

Steffy-we had to go to Costco today also ...the total almost made me pass out...but we shouldn't go thirsty for about 8 months:rotfl:

We also have enough fruit to feed a small army...yummy!!

Thanks for letting us Know Terry made it safely. Hope Hal feels better soon :wizard:

Hope shopping was not to painful today!

Terry and her friend Carol are downtown so she had cellphone coverage. She called and said Hal ow ow ow was really hurting today, and was sitting in the recliner getting ready to soak in the hot tub.

But the trip down was great and she and Hal ow ow ow are having a wonderful time. I suppose he and Bruce will save the world a little later.:thumbsup2

DGD and I are on the way to Costco. The cuboards are bare. This is not good. This means that I have to stock up on things like paper towels and sirloin burgers and Tide. Checkout won't be pretty. There will be lots of crying and nashing of teeth.:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :scared:

My DGD and I went to the bank this morning and we opened up a checking account for her. She can have an ATM card with Visa so she can buy her own Itunes and Abercrobie &F sweaters and guitar hero games out of her own funds.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :teacher:

Have a great weekend DDA!!!:dance3:

What a spectacular day we had. I am too tired to upload photos tonight, but will do so tomorrow. I read everything you all posted since this morning, but now I don't remember what I read! ;) I hope you all have wonderful nights. I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Oh, and Tom.... I would buy a set from you. Or 3 or 5...

You all are too funny!

Thanks for all the confidence builders. Sometimes I just don't know if I really have a talent, or just a hobby!

I have a Disney themed one in mind! We'll just have to wait and see if I get it made or not!:rotfl:

Janet - Sorry about the debit card fiasco, where in MS were the purchases made? DD had that happen to her and the best we could figure was a waitress got her number when she gave it to her for her meal, luckily the first purchase they tried to make was a web site that was flagged.

Evening all...

My Pampered Chef party was a fantastic time last night, good food and lots of great conversation!

Today we had my family (from Michigan and Pennsylvania) come in for the afternoon. We had a glorious day, both in weather and the time spent with each other.

Emma and Molly were beyond exhausted and in bed by 7:30. It doesn't help that they are both feeling pretty crappy with a vicious cold. They are coughing their heads off and I think their noses are about ready to fall off as well. Emma complained of a sore throat tonight, I'm hoping it's just the drip into her throat. Neither of them have fevers but if they wake up tomorrow feeling yucky we'll run to the urgent care. Molly can barely breathe as it is with the allergies so she is having a real hard time with the cold on top of it.

Elin- Congrats to Kristin on her graduation!!!

Jennifer- I hope the swelling has gone down and you are feeling as well as you can right now.

Tammi- :wizard: for everything with the house to work out in your favor. You are an amazing woman!!

Janet- I am so sorry about the troubles with your debit card. Scary world we live in.

Anne Marie- I am sorry you got roped into summer daycare for your BIL/SIL. That's no fun.

Tia- I am so happy that you and Terra are adjusting so well to your new job! Hope you had a safe drive and fun time at the party!

Bernadette- I've so enjoyed looking at the photos. Emma is such a cutie.

Tom- FABULOUS Bags!!!! You really need to listen to everyone and quit your job!

Deb- I am sorry the boys lacrosse team hasn't had a win yet but just you wait- They will pull it off!

Debbie- :cool1: on the cruise being sooo close!!!

Elizabeth- Hope babysitting was uneventful tonight! I may have to extend my stay in Dallas by a day (NKOTB will be performing on Oct 19, I wonder if Joe would take me this time ;) :rotfl: )

I know I missed so many so 's and :wizard:

It's bed time here, sleep tight DDA.

We just got home from taking Mom out to her monthly dinner. She is just not doing too great. She is showing signs of dementia, and has lost her ability to stay balanced, even with a walker.
The nursing staff is going to be testing her with different medications to see if they can help.
It just seems weird to see my Mom this way.

HMMMMM! I'll keep that in mind!:goodvibes

I might have a hobby that might actually help to build my Disney fund!:woohoo:

That fund would get big fast here!!

What a wonderful day for you! Enjoy dinner & the movie, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Today was Mother/Daughter day here. Alan and Jacob camped last night, and so we made a night/morning of it. This morning we got up and went to breakfast at McDonald's. I love those fruit salads!!! Then we did some shopping at Walmart and found a skort and 2 pairs of capris for Katie for London. We also found some flip flops for the twins, and some other fun stuff. Then, we made a quick run to the library for movies for the kids for this weekend. Finally, came home, and found that Alan has been able to fix the water line to our fridge that broke last Saturday. Did I mention that? It leaked into our floor, and the ceiling in our basement kind of collapsed because of it. Well, it's all fixed now, with new tubing, and seems to be working just fine. No leaks!!! Now, Alan just has to fix the basement ceiling. Lots of repair projects for him while I'm in London.

We decided to go out tonight and let Katie babysit. We are going to dinner at our favorite Chinese buffet place, and then we're going to see Prince Caspian. I can't wait! I love the Narnia books, so I'm thrilled to see this! We wanted to see it before we let the kids see it. Gotta make sure it's not too scary!

See y'all later!
