Did you ever find out if it was an online transaction? I still can't figure this out...how can you use the numbers at the register??

We were amazed at what the people who took my stuff were able to get away with! They used my credit card....without signing anything, and they wrote about 12 checks without signing a name. It was amazing what the various checkers took and never asked for id or anything!

I was thinking exactly the same thing. If anything, her frenzy has increased.

I just found the part on the DVC site where they reveal the extra charges for towels. HOLY COW! $6 for 4 clean towels, $15 if I want trash and towel service on an unscheduled day and $30 per day if I want actual housekeeping! YIKES!! This is NOT good. I must ponder the towel dilemma.

DVC resorts have free laundry by the pools for studios. We did laundry one day while we were hanging out down at the pool.

Or you can get clean towels from the pool area. They aren't as nice as the ones from the room but are clean towels.

I got home last night about 11:30 my time. Was back up for work for a 7:30 phone call I lead. We are camping over near my in-laws this week-end to spend time with Chuck's parents. I don't know if we'll have internet access (probably not) but we are staying at a fancy campground. We usually like the state parks which have the basics. I should be back briefly on Sunday. I'm heading back to Lansing on Monday.

I hope that your job lightens up soon. You seem to be on the road constantly. I'm sure Chuck misses you. We sure do

I keep forgettting to share this with you guys. My nieces high school did Beauty and the Beast. My sister made the maids outfit, cogsworth's jacket and the twirly skirts for the naptkins and I think a few more but I can't remember. The skirts are really cool!

We have another loss under our belts. The boys played well, but we clearly have not played as much as our opponents. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I spent far too many hours today online shopping. We've been having issues with Colby keeping his sneakers on. He is always taking them off because his feet are too hot. He needs to wear his sneakers as those are what the arch supports fit into. His sandals and crocs are not orthodics friendly. I ended up finding a few brands of sandals that have heels built in and toes too. I found a pair of merrells for Colby. I'm hoping they will solve the problem. Of course when his brothers heard about them they "needed" some for themselves. Unfortunately the Merrells didn't come in their sizes so I searched and searched for similar sandals that weren't too expensive. I ended up finding some Teva's that are similar and those are now ordered too.

America's funniest videos is really pushing Adventures by Disney tonight. The whole show seems to be an infomercial.

Ah, you know me well! That's exactly what I was thinking! It's a good thing we have supplemental nights in a regular hotel room in between the DVC so I don't have to address the towel issue the entire time!
Someone suggested swiping clean towels from the pool. But since DH doesn't have the towel issues that I have maybe we can get by with just one extra towel pack in between each scheduled replenishment. Since there won't be a housekeeper to tip each day I will use my tip money to buy clean towels!

What's wrong with that idea? You're not swiping them. You are borrowing them!

6 weeks from today we will be on the road by now It seems the trip is coming much quicker now. I really must get this room finished as I want it done before we leave. I need to work on it this weekend for sure.

Three weeks from today, we'll be watching Wishes.

Chanon, my sister has decided to take the non-stop flight that they have moved. We were able to convince her that was the most practical. It was touch & go for a little while though!

Well I have things taken care of at the bank. I did not have to file a police report because they know I am here & not in MS. Whoever got my card was charging with it last night. The 1st one went through for almost $400, the 2cd time they tried to use it, the bank blocked my card. I have filled out all the paperwork & hopefully my account will be credited within 48 hours(this is what I was told anyway). I feel just as violated now as when our home was broke into. I do not know how they got my card number & I will never know. At least I know they can not use it anymore & if they try it should come up saying "STOLEN!".

So now I am going back to paying my bills the old way. I will write checks & send them in the mail. I just need to make sure I get paper bills from everyone. What a pain, but thank goodness the bank was on their toes or it could have been much worse.

Well the guys are here to haul our tree away, guess I better make sure they get it all.

I'm sorry to hear this happened but glad you got it resolved.

I always miss you guys too. We are working on spreading the wealth so that I have more free time. It will take a couple of months but it is heading in the right direction.

Oooh, fun! But how would you decide who to take, when?

It's wonderful that you are still able to be home. At least you were able to get out some today, even though you are paying for it now.

Well, I was thinking since that when we go in December it is going to be over Nicholas' bday and he will get some special treatment during that week, that if I take one in Sept or Oct that it would be Alyssa. And then maybe around Feb. I could take the other.

But I'm thinking that might be out now. My kids are going away for a week this summer with their dad, and Bethany will be in FL with her mom. Bob has requested that we take maybe 3 days and go away together. We would like to keep it within driving distance but I'm thinking with gas prices, if we get good airfare or a ding maybe we could go farther. I'd like it to be somewhere that I've never been. I recall Chanon and Janet having a wonderful time in Vegas, baby. So..........how cheap can we go to Vegas for 3 days? Or does anyone else have any suggestions to something more economical?
