We leave on the 6th. I think it would be fun to be there while they tape, but, ugh, the crowds....

Thank you!! And thank you for suggesting that we revisit buying through Disney. There was no way we could have gotten a resale fast enough to use the points for this trip, but doing it this way worked out PERFECT! I hope we like OKW!



Be glad they didn't charge you a $15 impound fee to get it back!



Appliances are expensive! But they are necessary.
Back pain sucks. It should be better in a couple more days, but until then you will have to wear slip-on shoes and NO socks! (Panties can also be tricky.)

I can't take pain killers as they cause major dizziness, etc

Take Aleve as that can be used as an anti-inflamitory. Also try alternating ice and heat.

well, I'm not big on chiropractors

Neither am I, but I sure have a lot of people telling me I should go to one! My problem is that my disc is degenerating, so the muscles go all wonky to compensate for the weak spot. Don't know if a chiropractor would fix that or not. Since it wouldn't be covered by insurance I am not rushing to find out!

That's great news. I agree that AKV is right for you. Aren't those bonus points da bomb. They really get you back on property sooner than you think. We loved the size of OKW and it is definitely on our fave list.

I was hoping that your back would be better this morning. Mine lower left quandrant is bothering me today. I also did nothing to irritate it Is there a back pain virus going around? I know that I was on my feet a lot yesterday, and I didn't sleep so well last night, but I tried a nap today and that didn't help the back. It did a lot for my mood though I wonder if I've been stressing a bit about today's meetings, though they are over so I should feel great.

Well, I am still glad you didn't have to pay to get the phone back because I think it is ridiculous.

From what I have read the crowds are really just on Main St. We were at WDW during taping in 2006 but we didn't go to MK that day.

They were filming the parade the Saturday we arrived this past December. We didn't go to MK until 5 p.m. (it was the only night we could catch Spectro) and it was still a madhouse, even though they were done taping.

Don't go to MK unless you absolutely have to, because they run the parade more than once, and the entire parade route is a congested mess!

Everyone who has gone there, seems to really like OKW! We've never been....almost came close this trip...but then our waitlist at BWV opened up.

OKW was alright. I was really surprised that I preferred SSR. It was quite a shock actually! We really liked the walk to DTD. I think I would love OKW if we stayed near the front. However, we were quite a distance away and the walk wasn't as nice as at SSR. We can't stay near there on the June trip because you have to go through the bedroom to get in the bathroom in the smaller numbered buildings. I don't want my sister, niece and nephew to have to traispe through my bedroom to get to the bathroom! And we can't have 6 people using the one in the studio portion.

Hi, everyone. I know I've kind of dropped off the face of the DIS for a while, but I wanted to stop in and let you know that I'm ok. Things are really hectic, here right now.

We're right in the middle of the end of school process. I'm in charge of one area of our school's major fundraiser, and it's taking up a ton more time than I thought it would. Luckily, that will be over one week from today, so I should have more time after that. Add to that, some projects I'm working on that need to be finished before I leave for London, shopping for clothes for Katie and me for the London trip, and dealing with morning sickness are taking up all my time.

On top of all that, Alan's mother ran off and got married, and it's sent the family into some major turmoil. Alan and I are on her bad list, since we told her in no uncertain terms that our kids will not be calling this new husband (#6) "grandpa." In fact, they will have limited to no contact with him at all until we see if this relationship will last longer than 9 months! Grrr, it makes me very angry!!!!!

Anyway, I wanted to stop in and let you all know I'm alright, just incredibly busy. If there is anything I need to know, please PM me and let me know! I promise that after next Monday I'll be able to spend more time here! I can't wait!!! I miss you all incredibly!

We had a nice weekend. Saturday was a great day to go to the zoo. We met Curious George and Max (from Max and Ruby) and even ran into Jen and Kyle (though we missed seeing Jennifer in her "cool ride" ). The animals were very active, too.

Yesterday, was our last day of "boot camp," and we'll become official members of our new church this coming Sunday. We also had a nice dinner at Outback. Alyssa built me an awesome block tower for Mother's Day.

We have a busy week ahead. Today was the last ballet class before the big recital on Sunday. My mom, stepdad and sister are coming down to see it, so I have lots of cleaning and laundry to do.

Tomorrow, Alyssa has a class picnic, and her last day of school is Wednesday. Kevin is still putting the final touches on the DVD we put together to thank her teachers. After a little more nagging, I finally got 100% participation from the parents (No money, I just needed them to submit pictures of their kids!)
