DDA Chapter 7

Good morning.

I have a whole house full of cleaning & laundry to do today. Fun fun!:lmao:

:wizard: to everyone!

I think you need a little design hiatus. It's like a feeding frenzy!
"Make this for me! And me! And me! And also this one! And that one! And these five over here!" :scared1:

They frighten me, and I have nothing to do with any of it! :rotfl2:

They get very demanding, and I think PM's are even worse sometimes. That's why I stopped designing (well, that and the whole issue of having no time to myself). I'll still design for family and friends (like the DDA) if time allows.

Guess what we did tonight. NOTHING! Absolutely nothing. Well, we did some things, but nothing that required any running around. Came home, did homework, the kids wrote their thank you cards from last weekend, ate dinner, played outside. What a relaxing evening! Too bad it's only for a 2 weeks.

That sounds HEAVENLY! Enjoy the 2 weeks!

Good luck with your appointment

I also have a dentist appt tomorrow. Mine is at Noon

Good luck at the dentist, Elin & Deb!

2 years ago when I asked for a design I had NO CLUE how many requests designers were getting. Maybe it is worse now? Anyway, no wonder some of the designers have decided to retire! Those of you who design, my hat is off to you!! Your generosity is staggering!:thumbsup2
IF I could design (which I can't) I might post but there is no way I would have the patience to keep up with a thread of 10 new requests every single day. I would have to have a generic design page and make it clear that no personalization or modifications are available unless you can do it yourself!

I need to go see what DS is doing. He stands in his closet for 20 minutes EVERY morning. You would think he would have seen everything in there by now!

Morning, everyone. I'm trying to catch up at home and work. Rees is sick with a horrible sinus infection and home today, and our new bed arrives today (last piece of new furniture). I hope y'all are good. Sending you PD, hugs, and congrats... whatever you may need!

Denise - I had forgotten about your new bedroom set! Please post pictures when it's all in there! :goodvibes

Amy -- Tell Kevin I liked the signature, and it didn't bother me in the slightest! ;)

I'm feeling pretty proud of myself today. I came up with a cost effective teacher appreciation plan and implemented it. Hopefully the boys will remember to give the gifts to the teachers tomorrow. I decided to give each teacher a Disney pin with a little note attached explaining the significance of the Tinker Belle pixie dust pins. I also bought some lindt chocolates for them. Little 3 pack boxes were on sale 12 boxes for $6. I used the pins that I got with the Mom's Panel gift and a few that I had set aside to trade. I had leftover Mickey Mouse Thank you card that the boys signed. Everything is in their backpacks. Colby gave 4 boxes of chocolates to his teachers as they are high school students for the most part and we wanted them all to have a little something.

I also picked up a pair of shorts and a shirt for my Mom for Mother's Day. I usually get her an outdoor plant, but she's not planning on having outside plants this year since she will be gone for a couple of weeks and doesn't want anyone to have to care for them.

I also made 3 pr of sleep shorts for Colby. That's 5 prs made so far. They are really easy to make so I think I'll see what other fabrics I have laying around and make more for them :thumbsup2

The Fiesta was fun. Hunter's class did a little spanish song and were dressed as skeletons complete with black lights to make them look spookier. He had fun.

That sounds like a wonderful teacher appreciation idea!

??? have I missed something???

:rotfl: That cracked me up this morning! I'm glad someone explained it to you ;)

:wizard: :wizard: Hope it's not painful!

Elin -- ditto what Tammi said. PD for you, too, Deb.

I hope Rees feels better ASAP. I can't wait to see pics of the bedroom re-do. It sounds wonderful!

Amy -- love the new sig pictures.

Elizabeth -- when is it that DS's band is going to Six Flags? I hope you got the rest of the information you were looking for.

Still no Mickey Monitor for me...whine...whine...

Thanks for the good wishes for Andrew yesterday. Unfortunately, the game was rained out, as was Jake's soccer game. It worked out for the best, as I'm still having allergy problems and a sinus infection. We ran errands before going home last night, and will do the same again today. Andrew has Kaleo and that's it for tonight. We are expecting more rain/storms today, so I hope Elizabeth and Lindsay stay safe!

Marci,
:wizard: for your to feel better soon!

Denise,
:wizard: for Rees!!!!

I have to agree...thats why I keep shutting off my PM box

I am chopping 2-3 inches off of my hair today...hopefully I won't hate it. Bill keeps giving me gift certificates to this day spa/salon...so I think I will get it highlighted as well. I was going to go do the whole waxing thing...but I can't seem to get myself in the mood for that :rotfl:

I was wondering who I would catch with this one. ;) In virtual Webkinz world, you earn kinzcash by going to the employment office and completing jobs. You can do one job every 8 hours.

I am pretty good at painting fences or tossing newspapers, but the hamburger one gets me every time :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl: Sounds like he has too many clothes. A chip off the ol' block. ;)

Do you mean the WHOLE waxing thing?! ;) :scared1: I could understand why you might not be in the mood for it. Post pictures of the new 'do'.

I can do those but can't get the grocery store bagging one. Haven't gotten it done once.

I love the Kinzpost sorter. The gem mining is absolutely the worst for me.

Tammi, there is a pattern to the grocery store. It took me a while to figure it out.
