Stephanie just left the office to drive down to her son's place. Her daughter-in-law's water just broke and she is on her way to the hospital for her c-section. I will try to keep in touch with her to find out how everything goes.

How exciting! :wizard: I hope she has a safe delivery!

Glynis i hope leslie's ankle is not broken. also i wanted to let you know that the italian chicken reciepe that you have was delicious and liked but me and both parents.

theresa i am sorry to hear of the hardships you and your family is going through. you'll be in my prayers and thoughts

steph congrats earlier on being a grandma again

well i went to my interview and it sounded like it was going well until i brought up me having a service dog. so i probably wont get the job. i guess i am just going to have to find a job i hate and do that instead of a job doing what i love. i was trying to find out info about service dogs in daycares in Texas and cant find anything about if employees can have them in day cares. i did find the minimum standards and it said that daycares can have animals as long as its posted and kids wash hands after touching and handling animals and what animals cant be in a daycare. sorry about rambling i just wanna enjoy my job and not hate it. the type of job i want is to work with kids and/or animals. i am so frustrated it isn't funny i wanna cry and scream and kick and hit and do stuff i cant do.

:woohoo: for the menu!

One of my kitties (I couldn't determine the culprit) pooped on the bathroom rug last week and then peed on it the following day. I don't know what was up with that, and fortunately there hasn't been a repeat.

I wonder if there is something in the DDA air with kitties. Ours has been meowing more than usual....thankfully she hasn't pee'd or poo'd anywhere she wasn't supposed to (that we've found:rotfl: )

woohoo!! Some good news!! :cool1: :cool1:

Don't throw out your mother of the year award yet. Perhaps Miles would enjoy seeing a movie with some friends. Couldn't your oldest supervise such an outing. No mess no fuss. Our bowling alley does great parties that we don't have to lift a finger for. Think outside the box and if you can't then maybe throw him an unbirthday party when you have time :thumbsup2

Well, I still don't think I'm up for the Mother of the Year award, but I did book his party at the gymnastics center while we were there today. I really didn't want to spend that much, but...

We are planning to take him to the new Narnia movie that is coming out on his birthday as a family and then to dinner. I think this may be the last year for "kid" parties. I've just done them for too many years.

Plus, I'm giving up a night in a hotel in MA and leaving at 4 AM so that I don't have to leave on his birthday. That should count for something, though I don't think he realizes the full impact of that.

pixiedust: for them! How exciting!

Beth, I agree with being "done" with kid parties. We took DS to WDW for his 9th B-Day. We had a bowling party for his 10th and those boys were wild! :scared1: I can't remember what we did when he turned 11. I know we went to WDW the week after, so that must have been it. This year he invited 3 friends out to dinner and a movie. That was really fun, and it was easy.

I just got an e-mail alert that DS is failing science AGAIN. :headache: He is missing 2 assignments. He has NO CLUE what those are, where they would have gone, if he completed them, no clue. And since this week is testing the schedules are all wonky and he has no idea when he will see the science teacher. :sad2: Are we sure it isn't summer yet? :confused3

I called my mom to see if I could prod her into calling about her biopsies. She said she would call and ask.

Then DH called and when I was pulling my phone out of my purse a piece broke off of the phone. :scared: I think I can Super Glue it. I don't think I am eligible for upgrade so I HOPE I can glue it!

I got a call from Stephanie while I was coming home. It seems that little miss princess: decided she didn't want to wait. She was ready to come out as soon as they got to the hospital :thumbsup2

Parents, baby brother and new baby sister are doing just fine. :goodvibes :yay: :woohoo:

Wow that was quick! Congrats to the family!!!

Glynis, with that kind of closeness so young, I believe they will be the best of friends growing up. :)

I certainly hope so! They fight, just like any other siblings, but they really do love and depend on each other.

Poor Leslie, hope its not broken. Horray for Katie!
Also seems like I missed the big news while I was away. Congratulations!

 We are all here for you.

Ok I'll check back later!
Thanks for all the comments on the siggie picture.

Thanks. We're pretty excited!

I love the pictures of your kids!!! I can't wait to read the TR. I have to live vicariously through all of you, since a vacation like that has to be put off for a while for us!
