10 cup basket size will work just fine

Do you guys know what size filters the coffee makers in the DVC studios take? I know in the hotels the coffee makers are the small, 4 cup ones. Are the DVC ones the same ones or are they the bigger 10-12 cup ones? I asked on the DVC board and the reply was that they take flat-bottom filters. Also very useful to know, but I need to know what SIZE. Anyone? :confused3

I am seriously considering doing the half marathon in March next year at Disney. Does anyone have the details on the training schedule for the marathon? I asked Chuck and he said if I did the half in March, that we could go in January of 2010 so that I could do the full marathon.

No clue on the training, but good for you!:thumbsup2

studios have the same size

I always take regular sized filters with me when we go. I put them in a zippy bag, and coffee in a tupperware container. The coffee pots are full-sized. Oh, wait, maybe the studios have the smaller pots. I can't remember. I'll try to look on the DVC site.

:confused3  :scared1: You can tell your age! :lmao: Anyone from that era would never admit to not seeing Star Wars. It was the movie of the decade for us. I was a Junior in High School when it came out. It was amazing! For those younger, it might not seem like much in the special effects area but it was truly unbelievable for those of us who experienced it when it first came out.

I was 9 when it came out & not into that stuff at the time. Dana (who was also 9) was crazy for it & saw it in the theater with his brothers.

Thanks, Tammi! We can actually access the DVC site now - they have gotten us set up really fast!

Thanks, Kristine! We'll throw both sizes of filters in and then we'll be prepared for whatever. We always pack filters, a bag of coffee, and a little scoop so packing both sizes of filters won't be a big deal. Packing enough coffee for 16 mornings could be a challenge! :rotfl2:

Well without giving anything away, I thought DH was lame-o.

Robyn,
Lucy is getting so big, what a cutie pie!

Jen,
 for packing!

Chanon,
I have to go look at your spreadsheet.

Wolfgang we don;t need adr's right? Not sure when I am getting in yet. I am going to wait for SW for my flight.

I think we said 4-4:30pm for Plaza right before the party? The KTTK includes lunch at CHH.:thumbsup2

Brown Derby lunch, hows 12-1pm?
Same for Chefs..12-1pm lunch?

Not sure when the GF tea is offered....then I think you said late dinner for Kona...Guessing 7pm maybe????

Well I'm off to bed. I need to get caught up after my late night last night. Goodnight!

I don't really remember much about actually seeing Star Wars in the theater. What I remember is that I was supposed to see it with both of my parents, but they got in a fight. I remember that my mom wanted to brush my hair before we left and my father started yelling at her, she ended up crying and went and got in bed. She didn't go to the movie with us. That was in the days before my father drank, so I don't know what they were actually fighting about or why she was crying. I suspect it wasn't really about brushing my hair. Incredible the things you remember 31 years later.

I want to run a marathon before I'm 50. I haven't 100% decided. I know I can do it if I set my mind to it but I have to actually commit to it. Chuck says he'll support me if that is the goal I set. He has always stood behind me on everything! He's a great husband.

Sounds like this house...

over dinner, Kirsten informed us that one of her table-mates at school informed her that his word for the male anatomy is WILLY WONKA! :scared1: This set of a chain reaction with Christopher telling us various "willy wonka" stories :rotfl2:

[/B]

I read this to Chris and his immediate response was "it puts a new spin on taking Willy Wonka to the chocolate factory"

Not to early & not to late, does that help :rotfl:

I have never ordered a cake for our room, for Christmas I called the the Number given for the Polynesian & ordered my cake for Ohana there.

Anne Marie and Janet - we need to figure out what time we'd like to eat for our ADR's.

Elizabeth (or Kristine) - In reading the cake thread board, I just get more and more confused. From the sounds of it, if I'm eating at a signature restaurant, best bet to do is to call the restaurant directly for a custom cake? If I want a cake in our room, I call that resort's bakery for a custom cake? They confuse me over there on that thread.
