Elizabeth - congrats on your shopping day!

My van passed the safety inspection, but not the emissions. Seems the oxygen sensor is bad, which explains why my check engine light keeps coming on. It shouldn't, and I use that word very loosely, be a major expense, just an inconvenience of taking it back to the shop, having it diagnosed and a part ordered. Thanks for the PD!

The Nine West one is very deep and it has 3 sections. Only the middle section unzips - the other 2 are just big, deep pouches that would make bag check a big pain.

Tammi - I hope your emissions issue isn't expensive to fix!

I have been looking at sushi from CA Grill on the food porn thread. DS is just fascinated with Japan and Japanese culture and food, so he insists that he likes sushi. He really has only had California rolls a few times, and a tuna thing at Citrico's (that was really good!). I told DH we will probably let DS order from the kids menu for dinner, but choose some sushi from the adult menu. The people with the giant sushi platter on the food porn thread are obviously better at this sushi thing than I am, because they ordered stuff that wasn't on the menu! And they said it was really good. So I need to try to remember what to ask for in addition to the menu stuff.

Sept. 20-Sept 29. Would you all do MNSSHP on the 22nd tues, the 26th fri or the 28th. The 28th is our Anniversary.

I don't know what an e-check is since we had no inspections on vehicles at all when we lived in Ohio! If it is an emissions control inspection then that is partly what our cars have to go through here in the DC area. there is a safety check and also an emissions control check. Both must be passed before you can license your vehicle here.

The e-check here was just probably the emissions part of your test. You had to get it done every other year, before getting new tags. Sounds similar... for some reason, we don't do it anymore. Who knows!

Speaking of Webkinz, who do kids think they are these days?! Coming home from school and quite obviously jamming up the site I've been playing on all day?!

All I need is money, because this Webkinz thing is a lot like real life. I buy stuff, waste all my money, dislike things I bought and replace them to waste more money. And now, finally, at 4pm there is some game that gets you bonus money. I happen to be great at it, until the website just throws me out ruthlessly, and now I can't get back on. This wasn't a problem any other time today!

I was gonna say the 22nd (which I have as a Monday night, not a Tuesday...)
but I see you've already picked that.

Jennifer - We still have E Checks up north. We don't pay for them anymore, but they are still required every two years.
