I was so going to get on here and post the same thing this morning! Nice game. I went through the Sox schedule to not on my calendar what games I might actually get to see. The season is sparse. For the Cards though we have a local cable sports station that carries most to all of the games so I'm covered there. Wish you could see more.

Well, that was one big post! Thanks for all the anniersary wishes. It was our 13th. I'm off to the eye doctor to get new contacts, then haircut, lunch with John, pick up kids, yearly termite bond inspection, then choir tonight. Have a great day!


Oh, and I have 2 adult park hopper tickets with 1 day left on them that I can sell on Ebay from 1986. Would you try to sell them now (and have to explain everything, how to exchange, etc) or exchange them myself in 3 weeks and then just sell the 1 day hoppers?

I would do the exchange myself then sell

with our basic system we do not get Fox Sports or any of the other stations that show ball games but I refuse to pay $30 more a month for that. I remember when all of the games were on regular tv. With the ticket prices jacked up because of the post season run last year it's too dang expensive to go!!

Good morning, DDA!

A huge blanket of for all. This week at work has been crazy thus far, and I'm not out of the woods yet. We have some important visitors in the office this week that somehow I wound up primarily responsible for. You'd think the Pope himself had come to town. It's wearing me out!

Denise - I'd go with buying the tickets from Undercover Tourist as Janet suggested. All my family in December bought their tickets through them, and everything worked great. Best pricing I could find, too. I'd also either hang onto the tickets (you just never know when you might need a day...) or upgrade them with Disney directly. Since technically Disney tickets are non-transferable, I don't know if I'd go through the hassle/possible problems trying to sell them on eBay. Jonathan and I had tickets like that with 1 day left on them for several years, and ended up needing 1 day between AP's on a trip in '06. Happy Anniversary!

Elin - congrats to Kristin! Did you ever hear any more about the suicidal man? That was very scary, as well as very sad.

Janet - I don't have the DDA e-mail list with me. PM me what e-mail address to send the e-mail to, and I'll send it your way.

Elizabeth - continued prayers for your mom. I hope her appt. today goes as well as possible. Is your aunt going with her? for packing.

Glynis - I can't believe your MIL. That is just utterly nuts, from every angle. I think what you and Alan are doing for your family is completely understandable, and I'm glad you both agree on it. Hang in there!

Deb - sounds like another very busy day, and so sorry to hear about the weather. I hope today is a better one!

Vicki - yikes - all that SNOW! That is not a very funny joke, is it?

Stephanie - it was good to see you pop in!

Terry - I was sorry to hear your IllumiNations cruise story. I've had things like that happen to me before - it's so frustrating when you don't know they're coming!

Robyn - Did you see that Hairspray is coming to the Warner Theater in 2 weeks! I'm so tempted to take the kids. We saw the movie in the theater and Alyssa loves the soundtrack.

I don't know if my aunt is going with my mom. Nobody ever said. I know the oncologist's name and I can get his phone # off the website, so I can always call him directly if there is something she doesn't understand or can't remember. Depending on what she tells me this afternoon I may just call him anyway. Just to say hello, introduce myself, and let him know I will be watching her treatment like a HAWK. I know 2 oncologists and an oncology researcher here so if something doesn't sound right I will be checking with them. I won't tell him that part - no need to put him on the defensive before we get out of the starting gate.

I have a packet of Au Jus that I want to use to make beef sandwiches with. Do I just add this to a roast while it is cooking?

Wow...that is not good at all. There is no way that she knows enough about this man to make an informed decision. That is pretty scary he could be an axe murderer or child molestor for all she knows. Do keep your kids far far away. If she is hellbent on ruining her life don't let her take you down with her. Didn't she just leave her last husband?

This is exactly how I feel!! She left her last husband about 13 months ago. She swore that she was not going to do this again, but obviously wasn't serious! Luckily, Alan feels the same way I do. We informed all the siblings (she is still visiting her new fiance), last night that we would not be attending any family functions where this new man is. To our surprise 3 other siblings felt the same way. I guess that this will be quite a rude awakening for MIL.

I bought tickets to "Cats" for DS and me. I almost had a heart attack last night thinking the musical was the weekend I booked plane ressies. Luckily it is the weekend after.

I want to be sure that this hospital is going to be a good choice, because the other hospital seems to have a larger cancer center. The other hospital also has a female oncologist who specializes in breast cancer, so I might be pushing Mom ro meet with her before she makes any concrete decisions. I aksed her why they referred her to this guy she is seeing today and she said her primary care Dr. is affiliated with this hospital. I don't think that really matters, though. I don't think the primary care Dr. is going to have much involvement here, so she needs to go where the oncology services are best.

I got DS's suitcase packed, now I need to work on mine.

Molly had a dental appointment this morning to fill 2 cavities. Well they filled 5. My sister took the girls on March 3rd. She came home that day and said Molly had 2 and Emma had a tiny one that they didn't recommend filling unless it started bothering her. Eric called back to the office and asked them why there was a huge discrepancy. The receptionist checked Mo's chart and said "No, there were 5." I can't see how my sister could have confused 2 and five, they don't sound alike at all

Hi everyone!

Quick question: What time should Bob and I schedule our transfers to Disney from Universal for? We are at Disney from 10/12, 13 and leave 9am on the 14th. The 12th is EMH evening for MK, the 13th is MNSSHP. We'd like to fit in EPCOT too. And we have meals to plan around - Bob wants Crystal Palace which I thought the best day to do that was the 12th for breakfast until I realized it's an EMH evening, and I might drop 1900 Park Fare for the 13th for another place since we want to do EPCOT...and dinners are Yachtsman (on the 12th) and Artist Point (on the 13th) and Artist Point has to be pretty early because of MNSSHP...
...and I'm rambling because I can't think this hard. Help!

OK I calmed down some in those few minutes of venting. I just switched days around for the parks...No matter what, it'll be a busy weekend because of Columbus Day.

October 12th:
Leave Universal. (Still don't know what time.)
Check in at resort.
Possible Segway tour?
Early lunch at Garden Grill (even though I'd love to eat at 1900 Park Fare but I think the travel time back and forth would kill too much time.)
Visit EPCOT. Bob has yet to ride Soarin'.
Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner around 7 or 8pm.

October 13th:
Crystal Palace breakfast before park opening.
Visit MK.
Take a break in afternoon before...
Dinner at Artist Point around 5:30pm.
Back to MK for MNSSHP tonight until midnight.

October 14th:
Leave at 9am to go home.

(Universal Studios is so much easier to plan for!)
