We ended up installing the trim pieces in the areas that have been painted, took down the painters tape, reinstalled lights and covers etc. The area that is done looks wonderful.

My Mother and I usually have very different ideas about decorating. She likes very plain things, solid paint colors, light colors etc. When she came in today and said she loved it I nearly fell over. I had to reassess whether I really liked it or not :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :confused3

:lmao:

It must feel great to see how great it will look and feel great to get compliments from Mom!:thumbsup2

This is what I did last night:

I also washed and ironed 9 pieces of fabric. I hope to make Emma a Buzz outfit like her Cars outfit tomorrow. It should go quickly as I've made both patterns already. An A-line top with denim shorts with Buzz cuff.

The Nemo outfit will be made from this pattern:

The front of the bodice will be the panel I bought-I'll need to add blue to the sides, the bodice back and ruffled elastic straps will be blue. The skirt of the shirt will be the Nemo fabric and I'll put a blue cuff on it too. I may make some capris too-I'll have a better idea when the top is complete.

I love the material from the first outfit. That is adorable.

I love the outfits. You are doing such a great job. They're going to have whole new outfits by summer.

For those interested, this is the link to the Behr website. It gives detailed instructions on how to do the Bellagio paint technique.

I wouldn't say that it is hard, but it is tedious and time consuming.

I quit at around 6 PM as I just couldn't paint another stroke. I didn't even come close to finishing the hall, but I was so sick of it, I had to quit. Hopefully I'll be able to finish tomorrow.

I know how you feel, Deb. One time I decide I was going to sponge the kids' bathroom. I got one wall done and was miserable, but I had to keep going. I don't think I'll ever do that again.

myBob has informed me that he wants to do the RPDE. I'll have to keep that in the back of my mind.

Chris thinks that I need to apply for the VIP guide job :goodvibes

I could also edit the program as the Richard Petty Driving experience at the Disney Speedway is NOT in the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom...It's Animal Kingdom :rolleyes1

Chris just pointed out that the family doing the Father's Day experience couldn't possibly be there in June as many people were wearing sweaters including the Mom. June is NOT sweater Weather in Florida

Yes, as Disney fanatics now, it is always interesting seeing the "mistakes" that are made in these shows.

Chris and my brother are doing the ride along this Summer. Chris can't wait :woohoo: He is sitting next to me dictating what I should be writing:car:

I bought my ex the Pocono driving experience for Christmas several years ago. He loved it!

did you know you can also do it at the Richmond International Speedway? It is cheaper there too.

I hope he is still watching now......the V&A segment.

Yes, but it's a short track, which means you have to be braking into the curve before you can get your speed up.

Where has he been lately? :confused3 He hasn't posted in like forever! Doesn't he love us anymore?

Deb - isn't Chris doing the Driving Experience this summer? I wonder if you can get there easily from Ft. Wilderness since it is just beyond there on the other side of the toll plaza?
