Too weird! He's 36 today. (Or as our party invites stated: "not yet 40" !) March must be a good month for Bob's!

Happy Birthday to Bob!!! I'm sure the steaks will turn out great. Far better than anything I'm having for dinner! (Although meatloaf doesn't sound half bad.... )

Thanks. I didn't know what I wanted to put there, but since all I've been thinking about is my May trip lately, figured that was a place to start! I've never seen this stylized image of the GF before, and I liked it.

I bet if you did a Google Image search for the BC, you could find something!

I know I've always loved this pin we have from the BC - I'm always mad that they only carry tees with this logo on it for kids!

I'll never understand gas prices. At our local WaWa it is 3.21. Three miles away, in the same county, at Sheetz, it is 3.13. How can it be so different.

I just gassed up at 3.16 a gallon. Do you remember the good old days when we ONLY had to pay 2.50?

For those of you with APs who have booked since they started the thing where different nights within a ressie can have different prices:

Can some of the nights be on an AP rate and some be rack rate on a single ressie, or do you have to split them up? My one ressie is Aug. 1-4 at rack rate, but they usually release AP rates through Aug. 2 in one batch, then do Aug. 3 - September or whatever in the next round. Can I have 4 nights, 2 discounted and 2 rack rate on the same ressie?
My next ressie is Aug. 4-10. What if I can get an AP rate Aug. 4, 7, and 9 but not the others? How will that work?

Anybody know?

Congratulations Cassidy!

She tried out and made the top band at her school. She is now pumped to get the piece for next marching band season to prepare to tryout for section leader...she is also pumped because she loves the music...they are doing selections from a Broadway composer...dang I can't remember the name.

Chanon - Is there a particular reason you aren't just going to go get another propane tank?
I know NOTHING about steak. I have DH order steaks for me in restaurants. I stood in front of the steaks at Super Target the other day and ended up not buying any of them because I have no clue. I know DH doesn't like to cook ANY meat that is sliced really thick, so that complicates things even more.

Here's that one recipe I was telling you about:

Slow Cooker London Broil
2 pounds flank steak
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
DIRECTIONS
Place meat in the bottom of the slow cooker; if necessary, slice meat to make it fit!
In a medium bowl, mix together mushroom and tomato soup. Pour mixture over beef. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over top.
Cover, and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.

DS has survived his first band competition.

They went to lunch at Taco Bell, which just gags me but DS said he liked it.

He said the band director got a paper with the judges' comments, but the director didn't tell the kids what it said. They have another competition April 9. It sounded like everything went OK, so maybe he won't be nervous for the next one.

I don't know for certain, but I would guess that they would still have to be separate reservations. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear!

When Jonathan and I were first married, we were POOR and had to commute 120 miles a day for his schooling/my work. I can remember that we paid that year (1999) anywhere from $0.94-just above a $1.00 for a gallon of gas. I often think we would have never survived then if gas prices were what they are now. Heck, I do everything I can not to drive my car these days!

Lindsay - DS said he didn't HAVE to eat at Taco Bell. They stopped somewhere that there were several fast food places in a row and the kids could choose. So if that was OK with him then that's fine with me!

Heh heh heh. Watch me end up with 16 different ressies for August. And watch AKL make us move to a different room for every single one of those nights.

Elizabeth I'm glad ds made it through the competition ok!

The smell of fresh paint gives me a headache. We bought some stuff called paint pourri. You add it to the paint & it is like an air freshener. I thought this would help. Well I don't smell the paint, but man is this stuff strong! It is already giving me a headache & is suppose to last up to 6 months Hopefully after a couple of days the scent will fade a little.
