DDA Chapter 3

Congrats Jen! That is a huge personal milestone.

Tammi- Good thoughts and :wizard: for your dad. Emma tends to do the same thing with her classwork. Her and Nicholas sound so much alike. I just keep telling her over and over again that she needs to go back and recheck her work if she finishes up early. She is more concerned about sticking her nose in the latest book she picked out from the library. I'm not much help. She gets her report card on Friday.

Elizabeth- Congrats to DS!!!  That whole locker fiasco seems so unfair.

Jennifer- So glad to see you back. I am sorry work continues to cause you grief.'s Can't wait to see pics of your cruise book.

Bernadette- :cool1: for a great stroller!!

Tia- I can't wait to see Terra's Toy Story party! We are big Woody and Buzz fans.

Debbie- Your newest family member is just precious!

Theresa- I love getting fun packages in the mail!!

's and :wizard: to those I missed, it surely wasn't intentional.:goodvibes

Well we survived the Hannah Montana outing. All 3 of the girls (Emma, Molly and my niece Alyssa) enjoyed it a lot. It was very loud. Tammi, I think you mentioned that the screaming concert girls were too much- they were! But I guess it made it seem a lot more realistic. At least my ears aren't ringing :rotfl:

With that I am off to bed, I think I am still recuperating from our vacation!

Checking in...

Not sure when I'll be able to check back in with you guys.

I told a couple of you on this thread last week that I believed I was pregnant....which I am.

Unfortunately, it has turned out to what doctors believe is an ectopic pregnancy. So joy has turned into sadness/fear very quickly in this household. Not really sure what the future holds right now....I am on daily monitoring...if levels do not decrease on their own I am facing possible surgery maybe even emergency surgery if the pain persists. As awful as it sounds, the better thing would be to have have a natural miscarriage......and unless something resolves very quickly, there will be no Disney trip.

Bill is completely out of his mind right now....after the doctor pumped him full of the ectopic risks (mainly the death one) he has been hovering all over me.

I did instruct him to call Marti & Marci should something happen.

Well, there you have it.

Kristine... I am so saddened to read this. My best thoughts are winging their way to you and Bill and the kids. I hope, as you do that a natural miscarriage comes about quickly and your family can deal with one thing at a time. Bless you all. :grouphug:

Can I just say I HATE Super Tuesday:headache:

I think the media has been blowing it out of proportion...the whole debacle.

My work is a polling place....but Colorado is NOT a primary state they do caucuses instead...I am really glad that we had quite a few new voters asking about it. I hope they figured out where they were supposed to go.

My big petty problem with it???

It's messing up my Tuesday TV watching!!:rotfl: One of the only days of the week I actually watch tv.

I'm glad you all had a good time!

The sweet and sour (aka crazy) chicken is in the crockpot today. I invited some of Kevin's family over for dinner, so hopefully it tastes as good as it smells! :)

Hope everyone has a good night!

We had the same thing tonight! Bob shredded the chicken and mixed it all in together with the rice pilaf I had made when I was home for lunch... It was good, but... :confused3 I don't understand why he did that!

Somebody is going to have to repost the S/S chicken recipe. With all the raving about it, I just might have to try it.

I spoke with my parents tonight. My dad had a stress test yesterday and evidently their is a concern. He is going in Monday for a heart catheterization on Monday. This isn't the first one either. He had a mild heart attack about 18 years ago and has had further blockages on an off throughout the years. Luckily they have been able to remove them with stents and angioplasty. If you could send good thoughts/wishes his way I would appreciate it.

You have them... Good luck to your Dad.

Thanks, Elin and everyone.

Have a good night. I'm going to bed.

Although the Hearts On Fire diamond company did not budge on the salary offering, they did promise Kathrin a salary review in June if she "knocks their socks off" at her new job. She called the other company and told them she had accepted another job. She is beyond tickled, to say the least. Oh, and she told me that when I meet her new co-workers they will all be sock-less. :rotfl:

The plan is to find an apartment and roommate already in an area she is interested in and be moved in no later than March 15!

Congratulations to both Jen and Tammi on new personal milestones!

And now, I am also headed off here! Good night, friends!
