Becky - I forgot to tell you last night how much I liked your scrapbook pages! Very well done!

Anne Marie - YAY!!! for Palo reservations!

At the rate we are posting I may have to look for you when I get home tonight. I predict there will be a new thread soon!

Aack, you're right! I had better catch up soon! :rotfl: I know the thread will stick around, but that's going to get tricky, catching up from one thread to multiple others if I'm too slow! :faint:

Good morning DDA... have a great day!

:figment: :figment: 3 months from today I'll be at Disney!!!!:figment: :figment:

I guess I should go to bed. I'm feeling lousy again  and I have an 8am dentist appointment in the morning.

A dentist appt. would make me feel sick, even if I felt fine otherwise! I hope you feel better today!

Congrats one your, I mean DS' ;), Science Fair win! He's going to be so excited!!

Education is a FAMILY affair! ;) :rotfl:

Good for you for getting homework done!!!:thumbsup2

You are one of the busiest people I know....your posts often make me tired!!

I agree! Pace yourself, Becky! :)

I just booked the Palo Brunch for Dana & I!:woohoo:  :cool1:

Now I can go to sleep!

Yay for brunch! That sounds great!

Princess has swimming today, but I don't have to get in the water!:cool1: Momboss and I have decided if the other girls inthe class are going to be naughty and disruptive that we might move Princess to the 9 AM class. It would be a bit tight to get her there by 9 AM, but we would be home by 9:45 so she wouldn't have to eat a big breakfast before we left. I'll ask her instructor what the 9 AM class is like and if it is full.

Marci - Well, last year he got a ribbon and a trophy. Maybe I can convince him to let me have the ribbon this time! (I don't want to dust the trophy.)

Yeah for Disney! I hope you feel better ASAP!

The cool front stalled, so we are warm and humid again this morning -- in the 70s with possible rain. This is one of the times I'm glad my hair isn't naturally curly!

Who has been to Hershey, PA? Do you guys think it's worth doing from DC this summer? There's so much to see in DC that I'm wondering if Hersehy is worth an overnight trip. Opinons please!

Have a great day everyone! :)

Since Aurora woke me up at 6 AM playing soccer with the bathroom scale I decided to make more ADRs. :rolleyes1
I can call for the big DDA Cape May dinner tomorrow. It has to go through Gruop Dining so I guess it's good that I got my other ones out of the way today.

Good Morning DDA!

Just got Leighanna off to school. I should have put her arm floaties on! It is raining sheets! And... it is supposed to be "heavy" tonight! Whoa! What is this?!

Don't have time to respond to everyone's posts!

All the scrapbooking pages are great!

Deb and Vicki, good job on your sewing projects.
Alot of time when I am testing out new patterns, I use very inexpensive fabric $1.00 a yard or less. If I don't like how it comes out, I am only out my time and thread!

Time for Breakfast...... Hmmm..... I haven't taken out the trash yet!;) Wonder what everyone had last night....The good thing is, we're out of Bleach and Windex, so I should be fine!;) Time to dig something up!:rotfl:

Have a great day all!

Happy Mardi Gras!

When you were posting about Cassidy's schedule for next year I was thinking that is nothing. If you would have seen my junior high/high school or college schedule, let's just say I do not know how I did it. My life is much slower now.

I have had a season pass to Hershey park for several years. I really like the park. It has a good mix of kid and thrill rides. Last year they opened a water section in the park, it is tons of fun but always crowded especially on hot days. There is also Zoo America which is free with park admission on the day of admission. You can also visit Chocolate World, which is free to everyone and outside the park. You can see how they make the candy. It is not Disney, but still lots of fun.

Giant and some other stores always tend to have coupons. I am not sure if those coupons are a better deal then the coupons I have with my season pass. If you are going I might be able to meet you there.

There is also Six Flags over America which is right outside of DC. Paramount's King's Dominion and Busch gardens in Virginia.

I need to get ready for work. Have a great day everyone.

HAPPY MARDI GRAS, FAT/ SHROVE TUESDAY, AND FASCHNACHT DAY!

I can't imagine being that busy and knowing that it was "slower" than before.
:confused3

I found Cassidy's schedule funny because she was asked by teacher's last year to do more honors/advanced classes and she didn't want to be doing homework all the time. This year she's loading herself up....not sure what happened:confused3(though I can guess on a couple of them). On top of all the classes at the High School she is looking into doing some classes at our local community college...because the HS will pay for it if she passes.

Now that is a cool thing! I have never heard of the high school reimbursing for community college courses!

the thing is she may end up over there for her PE credits if they don't get them on her schedule this coming year:lmao:

I just called Southwest to ask them about my credit that expires in July. I don't think I will be going anywhere, and I don't want to have to pay even MORE money to buy tickets to go somewhere I didn't want to go in the first place!:headache: The DING fares I have been seeing aren't all that great.

I have the worst luck with them. I can use the credit, or I can pay $50 to have a 6 month extension, or I can let it expire and have nothing. Great. The guy said the credit is transferrable but I don't see how that is helpful. People on the Transportation board seem to be able to get the credit put back on their credit cards, but maybe those were refundable tickets to start with?

Required PE is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. I HATED PE in high school. I really, really hated it and I refused to even try to participate.

Right now it is an elective for DS, which he did NOT elect. I think that guarantees that the kids who WANT to be in PE will be there, and it spares everyone else. I am not sure if it will stay that way as he progresses through middle & high school, though. It seems like I heard some sort of proposal to make it mandatory but I don't know what happened with that.

We had a little thunder and lighting this morning. It didn't last long at all.

you have to have 10 credits of health/PE to graduate....marching band counts as 2 if she goes through all 4 years. 2 have to be swimming and 2 have to be a health class...same as when I went. I don't know how I only had to do one extra class...weight lifting but I did that and swimming my senior year....I had a ton of classes I had to take my senior year....all the no brainers.
