So we went to get DS and as I am sitting there in the carpool my phone rings. The lady identifies herself as being from the school, but she isn't one of DS's teachers. So I start to panic. I am thinking he is either injured or ill, but at least I am RIGHT THERE.

Then she proceeds to tell me he is one of the Science Fair winners so we need to make sure to attend the ceremony tomorrow night!
I hate Science Fair, but it is gooooood to win! Heh heh.

I told her he is in the band so we were planning to be there anyway.

I have to say that for a Monday this day hasn't been too bad. Blasphemy, I know! It started out rough- Blackie dug a hole under the fence and got out. Emma let him in the front door and he jumped all over her. He was covered in mud. It was 10 minutes before she was to be picked up for school. I had to rush around and get her changed and then mop up the foyer and kitchen, muddy paw prints everywhere.

But the upside is, I bought tickets for the Hannah Montana concert movie, the kids haven't been horrible today, the county is in the water/marsh cleaning it out and putting up some type of rock wall from what I can tell , and finally that is 2:30 so my day is nearing the end!

Sounds like a good day overall!

So the housekeeper was sick last week and didn't come to clean. The neighbor stopped by a little bit ago to tell me the housekeeper is still sick. The poor housekeeper! She works 7 days a week so she is probably run down and can't fight off whatever is making her sick!
Anyway, the neighbor said the housekeeper's TB test was positive, but the chest x-ray shows she doesn't have TB. (That could have been bad for LOTS of people because all the families she cleans for have little ones!) The neighbor is bilingual and has been helping the housekeeper get the medical care she needs, but it sounds like the whole thing has just been a nightmare! So pixie dust for Maria that she feels better soon, please!

I'm off to get Princess!

How scary for Maria. I hope that she is feeling better soon and gets the care/rest she needs.

How scary for you this morning! I'm glad that no one was heard. Also, that DH gets two days off. Sounds like he needs them!

I've been trying to catch up, but it's hard to jump in mid stream.

We have rescheduled for April 26-May 3. Hopefully, the P&PP will still be going on then too.

We hit 82 today, and then we're supposed to get down in to the low 30s tonight. The wind was pretty bad this afternoon as well. Crazy weather!

So we're not the only crazy weather people, huh? We were at 75 today. Needless to say Snow Phil is a goner. We did get to hit the park though! Tomorrow night will be 28 with some snow overnight.

Let me introduce my new great nephew, he was born January 29th.

He IS a sweetie, pie. (And his Daddy isn't bad looking, either!) What a handsome family, Debbie. Congratulations!

Great news! Hope she sleeps well tonight!

Hopefully she will when we finally make it there. She fell asleep in the car at 5 and woke up at 8:30. It may be another night in the chair for me as I'm not making it much past 10 I'm sure. The cough stayed away until tonight so we seem to be on the right path.
