DDA Chapter 3

I am IRATE. I mean IRATE to the point where I am almost shaking.

I have been re-doing all of our insurance. I raised the deductibles on the cars, so the premiums came down. Fine.

I re-did my life insurance policy. I paid the first moth's premium on the mew policy with a check, they approved the policy and added it to our monthly bill. Fine. Notice I said we pay our insurance MONTHLY, not quarterly or semi-annually or whatever.

Last week when I was doing the refinance paperwork on the car I asked the agent about DH's life insurance because it was looking like the premiums were higher than what she quoted me, to the tune of an extra $13 each month. Well, she kept putting me off saying she hadn't gotten the hard copy of the policy yet, then she had it but hadn't had time to review it, blah blah blah.

I just opened our insurance bill and it is $150 higher then it was last month!:scared1:

Let's review:
My premium went up about $12 per month. DH's premium was supposed to go up $25 but the bill says it went up $37. On what planet does 12 + 37 = ONE HUNDRED FIFTY? We pay MONTHLY, there isn't some big accrued extra amount. These policies aren't retroactive back to some date 3 months ago. AND they made me pay one month UP FRONT with a check. Both of those checks were cashed but I don't see where that money was credited to our account. The policy should have gone up ONLY by the monthly increase in the cost of the 2 life policies, period, the end.

So, so , so, so, so ANGRY about this.

And of course the office is closed. And I will bet large sums of money that when I call tomorrow the ONLY person who can talk to me about this WON'T BE THERE. :headache: (Heidi - I feel a resurgence in my psychic abilities!)

Elizabeth  I hope the person is their in the morning and the idiots get it fixed for you

Thank you!
I just don't see how there can be any sort of "difference in premium" charges. If we only paid twice a year I could see it, but that is NOT how this policy is billed!:headache:

going into work for a meeting where I get to remind everybody I am queen:lmao: :lmao:

Seriously going into work for a meeting where I am first up on the agenda so I can get my hiney out of there.

My boss "talked" to the vulture today....I used "" because the talk lasted less time then my voice mail
Hope you get out quick!

I know but I really did not want them to be totally inane random posts LOL
So when will you have your park days figured out after you come bck from your cruise?

So somewhere in this house is the Bernbaums WDW 2006 book. Need to figure out what Olivia did with it.:) Is their any reason I should buy the 2008 book.

Did anyone see this? Doesn't this sound COOL!!!!!!

"Disney Magic Connection" Devices Tested at the Magic Kingdom
Select Magic Kingdom guests have been asked to test drive new interactive map software, run on Nintendo DS. Called Disney Magic Connection, the wireless device offers real-time park information, including wait times, character locations, and park routes. The GPS-enabled programming includes ride information, trivia, and games that are activated by your proximity to attractions (think Pal Mickey, just less cuddly, more tech-y). When fully functional, the program will also include information on which FASTPASS-enabled rides still have FPs available, and when the return time for the FPs is. Although there is no official release time, it's possible this system could be available to all guests by the spring of 2009.

Next Question?

Do you think an adult rain poncho will fit over a sit and stand double stroller?

That is really cool! I'd love to see something like that.

No cruise for me-that's Anne Marie. Maybe I'll do it after I get the borders on my photopass pictures. It is SOOOOOOO frustratingly slow. I really need to look at my May trip's Color Coded Matrix of Fun. I haven't even started August's matrix yet. I need to think about what meals we want to do-we won't be on the dining plan this year.

I don't think I would. I would rather buy a different book if you wanted an update. Have you purchased a passporter? I really like that one.

sounds neat

This is a vent post so feel free to continue on.

If you spoke to your 5 yr old dd in the morning and she told you that she was staying home from school because of mushy poop, and then she again called you in the middle of the afternoon just to chitchat, saying her belly hurt and that her poop was mushy....would you at any time speak with the parental unit providing care to said child?????!!!!! Of course you would! Would you at any time ask said parental unit if the child was going to school the following day??? Of course you would! If not, would you at any time volunteer to take the day off so said parental unit would not have to rearrange TWO days schedules???? Altogether now.....of course you would!!!!

I called her dad over an hour ago since he never bothered to contact me to see how she was. No answer, left message. He just now called back, after I had already made arrangements to take the day off. I get the standard answer of I meant to call earlier, I forgot where I left my phone....blah, blah, blah. Excuses, excuses. It just infuriates me that he is such a POS dad, but in the kids' eyes he is just wonderful! ARGGGG!!!!!!

So yes, she is not quite back to normal so I am keeping her home again tomorrow.

Whew....I feel better now.
