For my May trip I have decided that I am not going to plan ahead for anything, I am just going to wing it! The only sit down food I will have is breakfast with Bernadette. I have the park hours down & when I wake up I will just go wherever. This could be interesting

Why do Exs feel the need to try to make you feel bad and rub things in your face?!

my ex and i dated for 6 years-on and off but we were mostly continuously dating. I havent talked to him in months--i texted him when my grandpa passed aaway since he knew him and didnt get a response.

He IMed me tonight and i said hello and about the 2nd thing he asked is if i was still living at home--i said yes and he said something like "o well, me and my girlfriend have an apartment now and were talking more and more about marriage and stuff"...i mean, why does he feel the need to tell me?!

i dont want to be with him--trust me, its not that..im just PMSing , and emotional and im sitting here crying becuase i just dont want to be alone anyhmore....so im sorry, just having a venting moment

Why do Exs feel the need to try to make you feel bad and rub things in your face?!

my ex and i dated for 6 years-on and off but we were mostly continuously dating. I havent talked to him in months--i texted him when my grandpa passed aaway since he knew him and didnt get a response.

He IMed me tonight and i said hello and about the 2nd thing he asked is if i was still living at home--i said yes and he said something like "o well, me and my girlfriend have an apartment now and were talking more and more about marriage and stuff"...i mean, why does he feel the need to tell me?!

i dont want to be with him--trust me, its not that..im just PMSing , and emotional and im sitting here crying becuase i just dont want to be alone anyhmore....so im sorry, just having a venting moment

We've found a small way around there here by going to yahoo's search engine then searching for our mail that way. At least when you search for AOL Mail, it doesn't seem to trigger ours.

I don't want to be a Bridezilla, but I complained after EVERY person at work said they couldn't read it. I don't know if this picture does it justice, but the background is A LOT darker than the proof. So we have a few options after I sent off an email - either a discount on the order or have them sent back and reprinted.
Is it noticable to you guys?

I agree with what Beth said in response (quoted a bit farther in my qoutes). All consider that they are made to be hit with a golf club. If people actually use them they will look MUCH worse soon enough. I'd probably take the discount. You will have other things with the logo anyway so everyone attending will get the beauty of it

i just have to say January has sucked. y'all know about my dad having hernia surgery. that went fine. once dad got home mom had the stomach bug for about a week. my older brother came home for a wedding this passed weekend and we were going to celebrate out birthdays(by the way i still haven't gotten my birthday cake, but he did and what he wanted to eat). well Saturday we were going to go out to eat. Saturday around 2 in the morning i got so sick. i must have had the stomach thing too. i felt horrible Saturday and Sunday. Monday dad had an eye appointment and he had a cyst removed from his eye lid, so he came home with one eye. Tuesday i had a check up with my neurologist(everything is fine) still wasn't feeling 100% but better. got home and found out dad had to get blood work done again because his potassium in his heart is high, grandmother is back in the hospital for the 4 time in 4 months and then dads foot was hurting so bad that he couldn't bear weight on it. he went to the doctor and he has gout. Thursday i was still not feeling well and it was making me uneasy because i thought i might be going into respiratory distress again and didn't want that happening. as mom and i were talking we decided its me probably inhaling to much air at night under my bypap because i had stomach pains and all it was was burps or gas(sorry to much info). yesterday was an ok day. then we find out today my grandmothers condition is now grave. so 2 hours earlier we were trying to determine what to do with me. my dad is her power of attorney and he cant drive still and needs to be up there. i wanted to go but then i didn't because there is nothing i can do so i decide to stay here. when she passes she is having her body donated to science so there will be no services or anything so if she does die why be up there. i love her and will miss her dearly but she has been in pain for 4 months and the same cycle happens so she is better off. i so need some good news which i might have next week. if dad didn't need to go up today i would have found out today.

Chanon, I think that the grey is definitely darker than the proof. I also think that it is still readable. It depends on how much of a discount they will give you to keep the ones that you have. My perfectionistic side says to have them redone. My practical side says to take the discount and use it to offset other costs.

Karen, You certainly haven't had a good start to the year. I hope that it gets better.

those of you that have traveled with small children before hpw many outfits did you take for a 8 day/7 night trip? I am working on my packing list.

When they were babies I did 2 outfits per day as they are sure to wet, poop through or spit up on at least one outfit a day. Once they got a bit older I planned one a day with a back up in the diaper bag and maybe a couple of extras in the room.

So I didn't work for 9 days. I was hoping that business had picked back up, but judging by tonight I don't think that is the case. The good news is that I didn't miss making much money while I was home with the sickos.

Marci I was not aware that Scarlet fever could cause blindness He seems to be doing better as he isn't complaining of a sore throat and the rash seems to be clearing. He does have a runny nose and slight cough now so I'm watching that.

Thanks guys--I guess its because so many people i went to shcool with are starting to talk about getting engaged and getting pregnant and im just blah.

The car, the computer (except for homework), the tv, the video games, etc etc. were taken away from her for 2 months! Mom and Dad were very angry when they doled out the punishment and now fear they have been too harsh. But they can't go back, because what is that going to tell the dd? So they have come up with a work list.....things she can do around the house. If she does something on the list, she gets a day taken off her punishment. Kinda like time off for good behavior. I thought it was very creative. I love hearing how other parents handle things.
