DDA Chapter 3

Betty Crocker has kicked me out of her wannabe club.:guilty: :guilty:

I'm probably the only woman alive that could burn a crock pot meal......

Nite all....

I did one time too, Stephanie. I never thought it was possible, but I guess so.

Well, now Brantley-Kate has the stomach flu... It's going to be a long February...

Ack! Hopefully it is the very short-lasting version that we had around here. Hope she keeps it to herself and doesn't share with all of you! But, better Feb than April. :wizard: Feel better, Brantley-Kate!

Elin - Why on earth do you want to eliminate some of the restaurants? Pay OOP and use DDE for them! Problem solved!:thumbsup2

There aren't enough hours in the day to eat at all of them and be comfortable, I fear, Elizabeth! Maybe if we get up earlier and go to bed even later... :scratchin

We normally eat breakfast at WDW about 8:00-9:00 and dinner around 9:00-9:30. With F&W Festival in the middle of the day I am not certain we can fint another full meal in between there!

How can I turn the link to my Pre TR (YES, I am doing one!!!) into something that says wordage instead of html stuff?

Got more ADRs! The only one left now is for breakfast on our departure day and I probably don't really NEED an ADR for it. Since we won't have park passes for that day we don't need to have breakfast at an exact time, we just need to be ready to get on ME at 11:30 AM. I suppose the big challenge will be cramming 16 nights worth of stuff back into the luggage!:scared1: But I am a Master Overpacker. I can handle it! ;)

Now this I've got to see! :rotfl:

Somehow you have to use that little globey-paperclip thingy.

Tia -- that is great news! I read her TR late yesterday as I was waiting my boys to be dropped off at work. What a wonderful story! She may not want details discussed, but if she doesn't mind, what type of surgery did Michael have?

It was abdominal surgery. They were working to put his stomach and intestines back into the abdomen where the "should" be. If you noticed in his pictures, his stomach looked like a small ball which was his digestive track being where it wasn't supposed to be. These doctors were able to repair that and make his body look and function a little more "normally".

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That's what I keep reading!! But I can't get it to work... back to the drawing board.... Thanks, anyway! :goodvibes

Oh my -- I did notice it in the pictures, but wasn't exactly sure what was going on. Bless that family! I did add Michael to our Church prayer chain. Thanks again for letting us know what was going on. You had talked about him before, but until yesterday, I hadn't made the time to see the TR. I'm glad I did. :goodvibes

you have some amazing restaurants to choose from and I am not going to be any help on any of them. :rotfl: Sorry....just wanted to say it all sounds yummy!!

Yeah, it was a big deal surgery! They were very nervous, especially since they were doing it a week earlier than planned and without the more extensive prep planned, but his body was saying otherwise. Overall, the doctors are pleased with the results. As one said, he won't have to wear overalls for the rest of his life. :goodvibes

Yup, that's it. Type the words that you want to make into the link. Then copy the address to your PTR. Highlight the words that you typed and then click, and I quote, "that little globey-paperclip thingy". ;) Paste the address info into the window that pops up and click okay. When you save your signature, it should be a link.

Elin - Those plans look fantastic! I don't know what to suggest cutting out. I do, though, thing that your PTR has started out in perfect Trip Report board fashion. :thumbsup2 I'd love to have a chance to visint many or all of those restaurants. Apparently, I need to take a solo trip during free dining and upgrade to the deluxe plan and then have at it! It all sounds so delicious. My sympathies to the judges as they try to figure out what to sacrifice.

So, you see my puzzle here… what to choose and what to delegate to a waiting list. Any suggestions will be read with care and consideration. But the decision of the two judges will be final. I think…

Easy:
1. Pray for a massive schedule change to one end of your flight so you can fly in a day early or leave a day later.
2. Add two more nights to your package.
3. Voila! Six more TS!

;)

Good morning all! Looks like a busy day ahead. Rachel's birthday party is tonight and Mom works until 4:45 so I'm in charge of the final prep. We've got to get to the library, Target and the grocery store this morning. After that, I've got to make mask shaped cookies for the party. She's having a Mardi Gras theme and their going to decorate their own mask cookies in lieu of cake. They are also going to decorate "floats". That reminds me, I was going to find some Mardi Gras-type music to download for playing during the decorating and "parade". The hardest part is going to be keeping Terra distracted enough to keep her from wanting to join in. I wish there was a way to take her out to do something, but I've got to stay and help mom lest she go a little crazy with 11 way-to-hyper-12yos running around.

Happy Friday everyone!

I am so sorry that the sickie bugs are still flying rampant around the DDA :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and prayers that they leave quickly!!

Tia-I am so glad Michael's surgery went well...it didn't dawn on me until last night that the Wish trip report was the Michael you've been talking about the last few months.

Stephanie-I goofed up on porcupine meatballs in the crockpot......it was the only time Jim has ever asked to go out for dinner:rotfl:

For the others I missed:hug: :wizard:

Last night must have been kid procrastination night:headache: Not that it was all Abi's fault they weren't told about the hieroglyphics until yesterday for today. BUT.....don't wait until 8 to try and print said pieces out. Then dad was way too quick in giving up on the new printer.....so I drew a few of them for Abi while I re-established printer connection. :headache: My frustration seems small in comparison.

Abi had honors ceremony yesterday during school...she came home and said her goal was to be High Honors by 8th grade...I told her unless I am mistaken she will make it this semester if she keeps her grades where they are. :goodvibes

Cassidy had to explain the term "DDA Aunties" to my mom this week. It seems that she has narrowed her search for colleges specifically down to places where there will be an "auntie" or other family nearby. So in the next couple of years I will get to meet more of you as we college hunt. :goodvibes

Good morning,

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post individual responses. :wizard: and:grouphug: for everyone!!!

It's been a long week & today is looking no brighter. Daniel just came back off the bus (after he got on & drove away) & now he's sick.
Dana has been in Dallas all week on business, so his mother came to "help out". Well she got the flu the 2nd day she was here & lets just say I have been cleaning up alot of messes between my kids & her. I am still not feeling well (my head is pounding) & I have to work today. ugh.
Dana came home last night thankfully so he can take his mother either to the dr or home..I have had enough.

I know alot of you can relate to this one. Katie tells me last night at 8pm that she has a huge geometry test & that she hasn't been taught the work in class? Hmmmmm?? Ok anyway I help her til 10:30pm. I was half asleep trying to explain the area of a circle to her which took forever.
I got her up early to get some more studying done. Why does she wait til the last minute!?

Now the kids are whining..seems like they want to be fed! Gotta run!

 and pixiedust: to you!

Thanks for all of the well wishes yesterday! I don't physically feel much better today, but it was great to feel that people care. I really wanted to leave work yesterday around noon, but because the kids are in school here in Dallas and I live in Kaufman, I had to stick it out until almost 5. Since I get to work before 6:30, that makes for a long day, especially when sick.

The boys get out earlier today and I pick them up, so I hope to make it till then, then try to get some more rest. I don't remember it taking near this long to feel better when I had my last UTI, but I also didn't let it get out of hand and was quite a few years younger.

Have a good day everyone!

:wizard: Marci, I must have missed your post yesterday. I hope that the antibiotics are starting to have some effect and you are beginning to feel better. I hate UTIs. :wizard:

Anne Marie sounds like you have had a very rough week. Hopefully with Dana home everything will go a little smoother for you  As far as the homework, yep I can relate! Just last night Garrett told me he has a project due today. He needed a poster board to do this on. Um the night before is a little late to be telling me. No I did not run out & get him one, yes he will be in trouble today. He needs to learn that he can't wait till the last minute & now he will face the consequences. I'm not trying to be mean, but this is not the 1st time & I have always before ran out & got him what he needed. Now he is worried about what the teacher will say, guess he should have thought of that sooner! Sorry I know this is not exactly the same as Kate, he just really upset me with this one. Rant over :)

You can add my daughter to the list for last night. She had an essay due for English today that she had been given several days to do. I was out with Miles at swimming when she called to let me know that she had left her English binder in her locker, and she couldn't do the essay without it. Fortunately for her, school was on the way home from swimming, and the school was still open because of a concert.
