Since I didn't go to the grocery on Sunday DH decided we had to have Burger King for dinner tonight. Guess I won't be losing any weight today!

I need to see if I can remember what I did with the band director's e-mail address.

I would buy a colored dye and dye the entire shirt another color that will not wash you out. First I would finish the shirt and then apply the dye.

That's a great idea. I think I'll give that a try. It is better than just giving it away. Hmmm, I wonder how tie dye would look? Maybe a darker purple (since it is a pale lilac color now).

Desirae told my mom she is pregnant and she flipped out. oh well i get to hear her (mom) complain for 9 months now.

since y'all are talking about weaknesses mine is sweets and sodas. i am not catholic but i am doing lent and giving those up. i am hoping to start eating more fruits and veggies too. i am a little upset because last week i weighed 187 and weighed yesterday and i am 191 GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. i though i had lost 3 pounds but i guess i gained 4 back. oh well.

I found 2 different e-mails for the band director and they both bounced back. I can't figure out how to e-mail through the district, but he never responded to the e-mail I sent through there last time so I don't think he checks that one anyway! I have a number written down that is supposed to be his cell phone but DH told me not to call. I don't listen to DH but I don't think this really warrants a phone call. I will call the school tomorrow.

Karen - I think your mom is just concerned for Desirae. Babies rarely fix failing marriages, and it is hard to raise 2 little ones without any help from your spouse! I hope things work out for her!

Hi all! Wendy just called and Michael is out of surgery and in ICU now. They
started surgery around 10:45 this morning and finished up around 5:30.
The doctors were able to accomplish everything that they hoped and are
very optimistic about the outcome. Michael is currently intabated and
under sedation primarily to minimize movement, etc and not disrupt the
surgery site. He will be in ICU for a few days and the recovery will
still be awhile, but things look really good.

I think you'll see other designers pick it up. We have had a rotation of designers through the years. At least I hope so. If not, we'll survive wherever we end up. We are family now! And we have enough designers in our inner circle to get some custom designs.

I quickly read, but didn't quote. I didn't get on here until 11:30 and I really need to get to bed. I am so proud of myself for resisting the urge to log in earlier. I managed to do a lot of housework and I sewed an entire shirt for myself I actually like the way this turned out. The pattern was a bit difficult to read, so I did my own thing. I'll post pictures when someone here is up to take them

I really must sleep now as morning comes way too soon.

I am TRYING to get motivated on the healthy eating front but it is HARD. I'm doing OK drinking water, but I have such bad habits otherwise that the water isn't helping!

Thats my problem--i am not motivated at all

So I had a massive presentation for Bob last night. I gave him the Color-Coded Matrix of Fun, as well as the Color-Coded Cost Analysis. The latter was broken down into prices for August, prices for December and prices if he does both trips. The good news.....he is planning on buying APs for himself and Bethany, and doing both trips. The bad news.....none that I can come up with! The only hurdle we have to overcome is her mother letting her go. I'm concerned about the Dec. one since Bethany will be in kindergarten next year. I figure that is just something her mom will dig her heals in about. But that trip is the one Bob really wants her to be able to go on. He wants to bring his mom, DB, DS and DN. I'd like my parents to come as well.
