Woohoo!! I just got an email from Build a Bear that in honor of "our furry friend's" birthday we got a coupon for a free animal up to $12. Santa is bringing Deva a bear for her first Christmas just like he did for Terra so now it's free! Made my day!

Good morning. We have horrible weather here. I've been up since 1:30 AM listening to the wind howl!

Anne Marie, Janet and Chanon - Have a fabulous trip!!!!!!

oh my stars!! The wind was horrible through the morning...that and the rain kept shoppers out of Target. Which was a double edged sword...easier to catch up on reshop but more than likely another day that we don't hit goal which means everybody's hours may go down more. I have told the 2 people who count to make sure they call me if a need arises.

Good morning!

My parents got in yesterday. I'm working today but leaving a few hours eary so I can get down the road in time for Nicholas' birthday dinner. He's chosen to go to Firebirds. The boy has good taste in food. You all would be so proud of me. I let Nichoas invite his father to join us. So it will be us, my parents, Bob, Bethany and his dad. I'm hoping to have a good enough relationship with him so as not to screw up our kids (too badly). My mom is taking cupcakes to lunch for Nicholas too. It's good to have Grandma around.

Congrats on the free bear, Tia! I got a coupon for a bear for 5 dollars if I spend 50. Not sure if I'll use it, but it was nice to get it.

Nothing much on the agenda today, except for student led conferences at Katie's school this afternoon. Other than that, we'll continue to decorate for Christmas. My goal for today is to get the tree up so the kids can decorate it tonight.

Oh, by the way, the toffee square cookies were wonderful!!! Definitely going on my Christmas plates this year!

I got my new phone today. I got a samsung fasinate. We ordered it on black friday it was free.

Dinner was wonderful. John offered to pay for half, and of course I let him. Then we all came back here for presents, cake and ice cream. It really made Nicholas happy.

I've taken time the last couple of nights to sit down with my kids and hubby and watch a couple of movies. Last night we watched the Sorcerers Apprentice and tonight we watched Grown Ups. They were both good movies. Colby was watching Grown UPs with us and they were talking about the tooth fairy He didn't say anything, but it must put doubt in his mind.

I've been doing pretty well keeping up with laundry and other household things so I feel like life is in control at the moment. I guess that means that I'm adjusting well to my new crazy schedule. Chris has been working overtime too. It's perfect timing with all of the expenses we've had lately. I'm not totally stressed over finances. We have a ways to go to get everything paid off, but we're working hard and have a plan.

I had a $5 off $10 coupon already, but I'll take free! I also walked into Petco today to happen upon a sale for a hamster starter kit for about half price. I was able to get everything we need for the same that I was looking to pay someone on Craigslist for their stuff and I don't have to figure out when to meet up with them. After multiple years of asking, Terra is getting a hamster finally. We're learning about hanukkah right now so I'm just giving her the pieces each night as part of that so I won't have to worry about a pet craziness on Christmas morning.

I've got to get the rest of our decorations up too. My grandma and aunt are coming in town tomorrow evening so I've got to get all of the decor boxes out of the eating area in the kitchen before then.
