Terri -:hug::hug:I'm so sorry for your loss, still praying that you get some answers and relief

Marci - :hug::hug::hug:

Bernadette- you sure do have a lot on your plate.
I was thinking I was doing pretty well but now that the weekend is over I'm not feeling so confident. The kids did a ton of cleaning out of all sorts of old paperwork and other crap so that was something big that was accomplished this weekend but I didn't get as much done as I was hoping.

Very cool! Hope you had a good day!

well the tree is up. now to get the lights and ornaments on it.
That is great! I hope ours will go up next weekend but I don't know that it will really happen.

Bernadette - Good luck getting your tree up and Christmas stuff finished up. What day is your surgery?
Thanks! Surgery is 11/22. The Monday before Thanksgiving. We've invited my MIL, SIL, my sister & 18 year old niece to come here for Thanksgiving. I figured I wouldn't be up for a car ride. I ordered a cooked meal from a new specialty grocery store. DH will just have to heat it all up. Hopefully no one will care that the house isn't spotless. I really wish my right foot felt better so I would feel more confident about doing the left foot. It still hurts-not as bad as May but not the pain free I was hoping for. The doctor said it can take up to a year to heal completely. I feel like I have to get the other foot done if I ever want to get shoes to fit again. It was hard enough finding shoes to fit with my bunion can't imagine trying to find a pair of shoes that fit one bunion foot and one without. If I don't do it now I'll have to wait until next November as I won't do it in the summer and loose a vacation with the kids and can't do it between summer and November due to work schedules. So I'm hoping I'm making the right decision with this whole thing. I have to say I worry about all those around me (kids, DH, other family, work....) while I have this surgery just for my "convenience"......I could walk before surgery just couldn't do Disney the way I wanted. Hoping this will all pay off in the end.

I asked Emma what she wanted for Christmas and she said she wanted Schleich toys so I'm feeling better about her. Of course she mentioned all sorts of stuff I didn't get her but I think she'll like what I did get....I may break down and get her a few things she mentioned she wanted specifically. I can always hold a few things for her birthday. She said she wanted people-the truck I got her came with a driver but maybe I should get a few of the others.

I still haven't figured out my router issue. Do those things just die? I was posting on the Dis all fine & dandy and doing a reply when I tried to post it said I wasn't connected to the internet and I haven't been able to connect since.:confused3

I finally pulled the trigger and will be in FL from Dec 2 to 8th. I am working on both the 2nd and the 8th as I have meetings and things I need to be at both days. So it will be a bit crazy. The way flights worked out if I wouldn't have done it that way I would have shortened the trip in half. As they don't fly certain days. Since I am probably cancelling my Dream cruise in February, I wanted to get at least 1 more trip out of my AP. Although I am hoping to maybe have some interviews set up so I can move forward in the moving process.
Yay for booking a trip! Hope you can get a few interviews set up for while you are down there.:wizard:

Hi everyone, I am here and have been reading every day. Things come in threes and mine have been dealing with this stinking Vertigo and double vision, my mother is not doing well and Hal's mother was not doing well either.

Today Hal's mother Oma went to cross over the Rainbow Bridge to finally see her youngest son Brad and her beloved doggie Freddie. She had been in and out of the hospital a few times and was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. We really didn't think she would last until Thanksgiving. She lived a full 86 years. I just got off the phone with my youngest and sent him a ticket so he could get up here to be with the family.

According to my one sister, my mom is doing better. She has been in a wheelchair since May and now is in a rehab hospital. I don't know much more but will find out when my other sister calls.

Right now I am trying to work on my trip report to keep my mind focused. My MRI is scheduled for Tuesday and I hope to get some answers when the Dr gets the results.
:hug:I'm so sorry for your loss.

:wizard:Hope your MRI goes well Tuesday so that you can get some relief!:wizard:

Good luck Marci!

Jen- Enjoy your trip!

The time change is kicking my butt.

Good luck finding a job in Florida. I know that is where your heart is. Enjoy your WDW vaca

 Wow, you've got a lot to contend with right now:wizard: For the strength to get through it all.

I still haven't figured out my router issue. Do those things just die? I was posting on the Dis all fine & dandy and doing a reply when I tried to post it said I wasn't connected to the internet and I haven't been able to connect since.:confused3

I think that router can just die just like any other electronic component. I'm sure that the holiday stress is compounding your surgery stress. Hopefully it will be worth it before you know it.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words. The outpouring of love here, on our trip thread and on Facebook has been over whelming and my darling hubby Hal said to say a big thank you to everyone. The funeral will be on Thursday and it is amazing how many relatives will be able to come to pay their respects to Oma.

My mother is doing better but is not liking the physical therapy. She had developed high blood pressure a few years ago and is having trouble walking but is also having signs of kidney failure. She is ten years younger that Oma but I am sure she feels just as old right now.

Thank you again.:hug::grouphug::grouphug:

Good Morning. Man it is dark this morning. I just want to crawl back in bed. I did turn the Christmas trees on so that brightens my mood a little.:goodvibes

so I have been awake since 4am. finally decided to get up around 545 to feed the babies as my stomach was growling. I will probably start getting sleepy again about the time the older 2 wake up.

Becky - Yay for a vacation! Good luck on the job search.

Bernadette - Yes, routers just die. I had to replace mine back in the spring.

Marci - I'm thinking about and praying for you today.

I'm off today and tomorrow. I need to hit the grocery, Target and Toysrus. I think I'm busier on the days that I DON'T go to work.

Look at my ticker! It says DAYS. Not MONTHS!!!! :cheer2: :dance3: :woohoo:

Terry - You and Hal are in my prayers. It's not an easy time, and I want you to know that I'm so sorry for your loss!

Becky - Great news on a trip. Do you have any job prospects in FL?

Tammi - Days!!!! That's fabulous! I can't wait to hear all about it!

It snowed here for about 6 hours yesterday, so we have a blanket of white. I sure wish I had some Christmas put up, so I could enjoy it, but we are putting in a wood burning stove, and until that's done, there's no way decorating will get done. Alan assures me that he will be done with it in a couple of weeks. Cross your fingers!

Off to get the kids up and going for school today. I think it's an oatmeal kind of morning!

Terry - I am so sorry. It is time for things to be better for you, my friend.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

Becky and Jen - :yay: for Florida trips. And, Becky... I hope you can find what you need in Florida. I know that is where you want to be.

Marci
- Thinking of you today.

Bernadette
- We had to replace our router this summer. It stopped working after intermittently telling me I was no longer connected.

Tammi - 29 days! That means I am not too far behind!! Enjoy your day off.

I am with Deb on wishing I could crawl back into bed this morning. We had a wonderful time at the Open House yesterday. Weather and kids were both glorious. Then, I tried to watch the Steelers game last night but I kept falling asleep so I decided to go to bed early. Well, the last book of a Nora Roberts' series was sitting on my nightstand calling my name softly and I picked it up. Got hooked and stayed up till 3:45 this morning reading it. I needed my alarm at 8:00 so I am glad I had the foresight to set one. My 8:00 and 8:30 students are not going to have the best teacher in the world tonight, I fear!

Have good days, everyone!

Just looking for any news on Marci. Hopefully no news is good news, right?

It's a 10-12 hour surgery...she was taken back around 8 am.

Terry - I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad that a lot of family will be able to be there with you. :grouphug:

Kristine - THanks for the update.

Marci - We're all praying for you. :hugs:

Elin - I've done that with books so many times! Hope your day runs smoothly.

Jennifer - Hope you're not too tired this morning.

Bernadette - Good luck with the final preparations in getting ready for surgery. I hope it goes smoothly and both feet are out of pain quickly! I'm sure your gifts for Emma are just perfect! She'll be very happy.

Becky - I'm glad that you decided to plan a trip! A little jeaous, but glad. ;)

We're having a pretty good day here. My charge was doing great until a little before lunch and naptime. I headed it off by just declaing it time already. She was looking droopy eyed before she could even finish eating. Post nap is usually good so hopefully today is a success.

I managed to fall back to sleep around 630 the girls were up at 8. I think it will be an early night tonight
