Foam things, different types of glue, lots of different things to glue down - buttons, ribbon, fabric scraps, etc; boxes to store things in (I use the photo boxes), lots and lots of stickers, dot paints (last forever!), puffy balls, beads and string. Construction paper, drawing paper, stencils, colored pencils, crayons, glitter glue, beads, elastic string (to make bracelets & necklaces with the beads), wooden craft sticks, pipe cleaners, craft apron, googley eyes, washable markers, tape, yarn, safety scissors, paint brushes, cute pencil eraser tops, & cupcake liners (to make flowers with the pipe cleaners) This is what was posted on face book by Tia and Anne Marie

Well it is officially football season!! As we were watching the game tonight, I got an email about meeting Dallas Cowboys players this weekend as they are playing against the Redskins..i jokingly say to my dad--hey, they still have tickets that they are selling cheaper, we could go, meet a couple players and stay at the team hotel....i start laughing and he says..okay, lets go!

So now we are leaving early Saturday morning and driving to the team hotel ...we are going to walk around a bit and then go to the dinner and meet 2 of my favorite players again! Then we will stay at the team hotel and come home early Sunday...so excited about this mini trip!

So here it is the second time in two weeks, we have helicopters flying overhead!!! it is dark outside but they still have searchlights!!! We closed and locked everything up but I know I will probably end up staying up!!!! Naturally we won't hear what was going on until tomorrow morning!!!

Scary! I would probably be awake too--hope you got some sleep!

Morning and Happy Friday!

Jen I feel bad for your future spouse if he isn't into football. hehe

Terry I hope they found whomever or whatever they were looking for and I hope that you got some sleep.

Good morning DDA.

Good morning, DDA! I'm sorry I haven't been around much. Guess I'm not in a chatty mood or something.

Glynis, I hope things start looking up soon!

Deb, I hope that you find a full-time job soon!

Becky, I hope that your first day back to work wasn't too awful.

Bernadette, I hope that your foot is pain free very soon.

Terry, that is scary! I hope that you were able to get a little sleep.

I have to run over to the preschool this morning to make sure everything is copied and ready to go for the orientations on Monday. Also, there is someone interested in the 3-day class (that I don't teach), and the other teacher would like someone else in the building during that.

I washed my cell phone last night. :sad2: It is relatively new, too, since I somehow lost the charger at the Beach Club in August. I am sure that I threw the charger in the suitcase, but it didn't make it home with us. It must have slipped back out of the suitcase pocket unnoticed. At least I'm on a pay as you go plan, and the phone is only $9.99. I just hope that I can find one that I want at Target or Wal-Mart today so that I don't have to wait for one to be shipped. Oh, and I washed Matthew's cell phone a couple of months ago. Usually we are much more responsible with our electronics. I don't know what it wrong with me lately.

Laura had massive amounts of homework last night on the second day of school. Miles was able to get all his homework done in study hall. Funny story about him, though. He forgot to bring home the math homework policy for me to sign on the first day of school. I jokingly said, "That's ok. You do all your homework, so you can just forge my signature." The problem is that he didn't realize that I was joking. He forged my signature! (Extremely poorly, I'm sure.) :rotfl: That is so totally out of his nature. He has been nervous about school anyway, and today he was really ill worrying about what the teacher is going to say/do. He definitely understands why he shouldn't have done it. I told him that if she says anything to admit that he was very wrong and apologize. Hopefully that will be the end of it. It had to be THAT teacher, though. I'm a little queasy about it myself.

We have a very busy weekend. Laura has a race tomorrow almost 90 minutes from here, so that will take a majority of the day. Sunday we need to run up to Syracuse again, because Matthew found out he needs a camera for one of his classes, and he needs his social security card or birth certificate to prove eligibility to work. I have an old camera that he can use, but I don't want to put that (or the birth certificate/social security card) in the mail.

Have a great day, DDA!

You will be rooting for the wrong team. :snooty:

:rotfl: I hope you have a great time. I wish we had known you were coming; we could have planned something!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

Three weeks from right now I will be at MCO waiting for ME!

That sounds like so much fun :cool1:

That is too scary. I hope nothing serious happened:wizard: Thank goodness your trip is just days away.

Sorry about the phone  It really stinks when we do stupid things. I swear everyday I get a little more stupid. I don't know if it is hormones or what, but I never imagined that I could forget as many things as I do

Terry I hope all is well this morning.

It's official...I'm ill. I woke up yesterday morning with a sore throat. I was hoping it was just allergies or the dry cooler air, but nope I have a nasty head cold. I had bed spins during the night and there wasn't even alcohol involved :sad1:;) I got up and got the kids off to school, took Advil and crawled back into bed. I feel a bit better, but I know that when the Advil wears off I will be back to square one. Of course I'm scheduled to work tonight so that should really suck big time.

So I have regular glue and glue sticks, I have construction paper, colored pencils, tape, safety scissors. Crayons of course, I think I have washable markers. I also have a few stickers. I have a paint smock for both girls. :) So I should suggest to my mom and brothers pipe cleaner, cupcake liners, wooden craft sticks, googly eyes, I was thinking of those pom poms things also foam shapes. Not sure if I want the beads and glitter. What about stamps?

You might get some clay. Sculpty clay is alot of fun as they can make creations and then you bake them and they become hardened. That's what we made our Christmas ornaments from last year. It is a little pricey since you can't reuse it. Regular clay may be fine for them or even play dough.

This is exactly how it started with me. First day nasty sore throat. Next day the worse cold ever.....and then it goes into a wicket cough. Day 6 here, still screwing around with it.

Woo Hoo something to look forward to:sad2: Our house is 73 degrees and I'm in long pants, long sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt. This just isn't right

I hope you get to feeling 100% before you little arrival comes. You guys must be so excited now. Have you begun to pick out items for her?
