I just looked at our tickers and got butterflies in my stomach! I go to WDW 5 weeks from today. In fact, right this minute I should be waiting (im)patiently for World Showcase to open for my first tastings of the F&W booths! :yay:

Just saw this in an email. I don't know any more about it and there is no info on the AP site:

Disney will be holding an Eat to the Beat Concert Series Sweepstakes for AP passholder. Winners will receive an autographed CD collection of all of the Eat to the Beat artists, select Passholder merchandise and a $200 Disney Gift Card. Begins Oct 1 and runs to Nov 14 on the AP website.

Nick seemed to enjoy High School Orientation. I haven't heard too many details, but he's been smiling.

I made crepes for breakfast this morning and inadvertantly forgot to give Colby his ADHD med. :scared1:It's been a rough day. I actually gave him a smaller dose at 2 PM as he was riding my last good nerve. Things have calmed down now.

I think the camper is packed for the most part. Hopefully I haven't forgot anything. SIL has already called twice for me to grab things that she forgot :rotfl:

Debbie I got the cd and it's in one piece :banana: Hopefully I can get a chance to look at it before we leave.

Hi, I hope you are all doing well.

I got some pretty flowers from my co-workers today and wishes for a speedy recovery http://twitpic.com/2ip38w

I also got good news from my doctor they got the report from pathology and as suspected the cyst was not cancerous. It was the largest cyst that my Dr. and his partner have ever seen and were very surprised I was not having more symptoms. They drained about 2 and a half gallons of fluid from it and it had lots of blood vessels to it and that is why they kept me overnight at the hospital.

I am doing alright. I have some abdominal pain. I thought I might have a uti so I am on am antibiotic for that and drinking lots of liquids. Hopefully it's not.

Deb - have a fun trip!

Becky - what a load off your mind, I'm sure. Hopefully there is no UTI.

Nicholas has his first football game tomorrow. He's playing right guard on offense this year, so I'm thinking he will have a bit more "action."

What great news, Becky! I'm sure you are relieved. I hope that you are feeling better soon and back on your feet before too long. :wizard:

Wow Becky,,,,that is a heck of a way to lose 20 pounds!!!!

Good (way too early) morning, DDA!

I swear, sleepovers are going to diminish in numbers if Kristi's kids don't learn to sleep later! Even if they don't go to bed until after 10 (and almost 11 for Kassie and Terra), those 3 are up before 7 (and sometimes way before) every time! I've already made them go to the playroom because I don't want Terra up too. At least she'll sleep until at least 9.

Today is either a big day of nothing or a busy day. Not sure which. Terra hasn't decided if we're going to the big International Fair downtown or not. If so, there's lots of food, dance, crafts, music, etc from around the world. If not, they we're hanging at home doing a big bit of nothing. Both actually sound quite nice so I'll be happy either way.

Tomorrow we're headed up to Erin's to celebrate her birthday. Can't say I'm particularly excited since no one bothered to invite me to her little get together at the piano bar last night (or the last 3 times they all went there, or the last several times they've met up with the kids at the park or for lunch). Sorry, a bit of a sore spot today. I was already feeling kind of left out by not being invited to anything else for awhile (long predating the miscarriage too so it's not just that situation) and then the number of FB posts by those who were there last night just made it worse this morning on my lack of sleep, so please pardon my vent. :(

Good luck today, Nicholas!!! I hope that you have a great game!

My breakfast companions!

Elin - I loved the video!!! Hummingbirds are so fun to watch. We have a couple that fight about the feeder, all the time! One of them will drink, and then retreat to a small tree in the backyard, and wait. If anyone else tries to drink from the feeder, he comes in attacking! It's so funny!

Becky - I'm glad you are feeling better. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the UTI meds take care of that!

Tia - Sorry about the sleepover! We banned them a long time ago. Now we just do "late nights." Same general concept, except the kids go home between 10:30 and 11:00.

I'm not sure what we'll be doing today. We are either going to go to a waterpark for it's last day of the season, or we are going to Trafalga Fun Center for some mini golfing. I'm thinking the mini golf will win, as it's supposed to thunderstorm off and on all weekend long.

Tammi - tell Nicholas good luck, and I hope he has fun without getting hurt!

When we start with the friend sleepovers, I'm thinking that we may adopt your strategy! Usually though I time the sleepovers for when Kristi needs a late-night babysitter anyway. For example, last night she got home around 2:30 and Chris was working the 11pm-6am shift. (Of course, had I known why I might not have offered.)

This morning, the last pieces of steel from the world trade center were to be coming through our area on the way to ?? (I cant think of the name, Ill ask my brother). At each overpass above the roads they were traveling on, there were going to be firetrucks and firefighters. My brother called and told me about it so I was going to go to the overpass with his fire company. Well, apparently my brother told me the wrong time so as I was walking up he called me and told me to run or I was going to miss it! I started running down the road and JUST made it to see the beginning of it, including the steel.

It was an amazing sight-There was the trucks with the steel and hundreds and hundreds of motorcylces, police cars, etc. I stood on my brother's firetruck next to him and just videotaped it in awe. The motorcyclists would hit their horns and yell thank you to the firemen up on the overpass. I stood there, waving and taking video. It was definitely an amazing sight and im glad to have been there with my brother

Elizabeth- I saw these and thought of you even though you don't do much in the kitchen.
