I survived the class trip :cool1: We got home around 7 last night, but I came home to way too many emails about the dance etc and sorted through those on the 3 hours of sleep I got tent camping in the rain  The kids had a fabulous time and were very well behaved. I got a great nights sleep last night, but I need to get my butt out of here as I've got a bunch of errands to run before we start setting up for the dance at 2:30 and there is an awards ceremony at 1 PM  Very very busy.

Tammi,

I got tier 2 tickets in section 203. The website lets you see what the view looks like from the seats & it looked pretty good.

So it would cost us $400 for a day at Universal.....:rolleyes1:confused3 I am soooo tempted by the WWoHP but that's alot of Mickey Bars.

That's where we are right now, too. From what I've read, I don't think I'll fit on the Forbidden Journey either, and I'm not sure I want to be mortified in front of my family. :scared1: And the crowds will probably be horrendous. I think we're going to do it anyway...I just haven't worked up the courage to do anything about it yet. I'm completely out of my element there. :rotfl:

I'm heading over to pick up my kids for the last time this school year. I can't believe how melancholy I get over this. Next year will be Nicholas' last in elem. school, and Alyssa will be in 3rd grade! I can't imagine what those of you with high schoolers must be feeling!

In my best Alice Cooper voice..........

SCHOOOOOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!

Tammi - How did your ADRs go this morning?

Well, I made everything that I originally planned. However some things remain to be seen, because WDW can't (or won't) release their CP information in a timely manner for us planners. So some Epcot things might get switched around, once the narrators are announced. I can't book La Nouba until Sunday, so I will call back for that. I made our Ohana ADR, and in my sleepy state, I booked it for only 3, since that was what was on my mind for everything else. I called back later and changed it for 7. I wanted 5:30, but only 5 and 6 were available. I thought 6 might be rushing things too much so I booked it for 5PM. I figure that would give us time to get seated, have a relaxing meal, and then take our time getting over to MK to grab a spot for Spectro. I hope this is all okay with you and your family.

5:00 is perfect! Thanks for making the ADR for us all!

I have emailed AKL IPO to see if they can get what we want next week. But I think we still have to wait another 3 months to book the Sunrise Safari!

Good luck!

Nicholas is heading over to the pool with his friend, so I need to think of something special that Alyssa and I can do together. We always go to DQ to celebrate the last day of school, and since that is our tradition I'll wait for Nicholas to get home. They both had excellent final grades so we need to celebrate. I'm so proud of them!

You should be proud of them! I hope you thought of something fun to do with Alyssa. Maybe a manicure for each of you?

I heard back from them already. It was a very long email with all the offerings of CL included in the email. That is a first for me. And it introduced me to the entire AKL IPO staff. That was also new.

A heads-up... the Sunrise Safari can now be booked 180 days out, so I am glad I contacted them. I will call them in the morning with all my requests and my cc number! :yay:

Just got the call that another of my mom's brothers has cancer (blood). So out of 9 kids only 2 had not been diagnosed.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, Heidi. :grouphug:

Good morning!
Its the last day with the kids today--cant believe it!
Happy Friday :)

Enjoy your last (kid) day!

I'm glad the trip went well. Good luck with the dance tonight. I know that it will be great.

That's why I've never quite made the jump to trying Universal. Can't get past the added cost since it doesn't diminish our Disney costs much at all.

Good luck!

Yeah for them both! Congrats on the last day.

We called one of her friends and then met them at the pool. Nicholas was at a DIFFERENT pool. Now we are home. I picked up a wine and cheese sausage roll from Wegmans today, so I'm going to grill that. I hope it's tasty!

YAY for the help of concierge!

Glad you had a good time. And you know how much I love that sausage on the grill!

I also got an apple and onion one. The kids picked the wine and cheese so we'll have that tonight. I also got some sliders that I will grill tomorrow.

Heidi-so sorry to hear about your uncle.

That is why we didn't do Sea World last year-especially without a car.

I can't believe I have a middle schooler. How did that happen so fast?

Lizzy had a graduation ceremony today. They not only called each child by name (about 130) they also had a power point presentation playing with pages each child made about themselves, what they like to do, and what they hope to be-3 pages for each kid but they went so fast you couldn't see them. They also described each child-I forget most of what they said about Lizzy-quiet for sure-I have it on video. It was ummmm.... long.

I went to the podiatrist this afternoon. He xrayed my foot and said it isn't broken just a nasty bunion. He hopes to schedule surgery for 8/9. Just has to check with the hospital. He said he would like me to stay home for 2 weeks but that I could work from home. Then he said I couldn't drive with the pin in my foot for 5 weeks and he recommends 6 to 7 weeks before driving. That will be the hard part. There are several people who live near me but all would have to drive a mile or 2 out of their way to get to my house. I was hoping I could get a few to drive me different days so I wouldn't be a total burden on any one of them. And I think I could work from home for a few days a week too.
