Today would have been my father's 90th birthday. After over 17 years I still miss him terribly.

A few days ago I posted about seeing a doctor about my left knee, had a MRI and saw him again today. I go for surgery this Fri, have a torn meniscus and arthirtis.

That was fast. Hope everything goes smoothly and painfree.

I felt the same way last week about my dad's. It is amazing how though the day to day pain subsides the longing never lessens.

So much for spring, its snowing/sleeting.

I'm so sorry for those of you with nasty weather. It is warming up here and the sun has been shining the last two days. I actually have been out without a jacket the last two days. I have the patio door open and I'm enjoying the fresh air as I sit here. It is definitely improving my mood.

On top of that, I get to work from the U.P. next week on a project that I haven't had time for. It will be nice to have the whole week in my own home.

I'm so sorry for those of you with nasty weather. It is warming up here and the sun has been shining the last two days. I actually have been out without a jacket the last two days. I have the patio door open and I'm enjoying the fresh air as I sit here. It is definitely improving my mood.

On top of that, I get to work from the U.P. next week on a project that I haven't had time for. It will be nice to have the whole week in my own home.

Yeah! A week at home. That will be a welcome treat, I'm sure.

Oh, no! I suppose they are doing laparoscopic surgery to repair the meniscus and medication for the arthritis? I hope is is a relatively painless outpatient procedure and you get to feeling better very soon, Heidi.

Our weather is supposed to improve exponentially over the next couple of days. I can't wait! Mid-70s tomorrow, near 80 on Thursday, mid-80s on Friday and around 80 on Saturday and Sunday. And no chance of rain!

The restaurant has been slow this week so I'm opting to be on call. That way I'll only have to go in if it is actually busy. That also buys me some time to get more carnival stuff done before Thursday nights meeting.

Lots of miscellaneous errands to run tomorrow. I am vvery happy with the amount of projects that I was able to complete today.

Heidi - I hope all goes well with your surgery

Sunday afternoon we went to visit my MIL, she hadn't been feeling well. When we got their she looked just awful, her color reminded me of my father when he had his heart attack. We convinced her to go to the emergency room, her blood pressure was 56/31, turns out she had a blood clot in her lung and has been in the hospital since. She is doing well and is hoping to come home today, but her blood pressure hasn't stabilized and her o2 level is running at 88 with oxygen and that has to improve first.

My shoulder has made zero improvement over the past two weeks and the pain has actually gotten worse, I go back to the doctor Tuesday and we'll see what he has to say, I'm thinking I'll be going for a MRI. Whatever we do it needs to happen quick, I need to be well or much closer to it before our July trip.

Thank goodness you checked on your MIL when you did. And I'm glad she cooperated!

I'm so sorry to hear that your shoulder is getting worse. I can't imagine the pain you must be in.
