Amy and Kevin congrats on Sammy. He sounds absolutely perfect :goodvibes

Amy & Kevin - congrats on Sammy's arrival!

Theresa - I am so, so sorry that things have gotten so bad for you. I just want to wrap you in hugs.

Heidi - yay for a good mammo!

So what is everyones thoughts on the death of actor Corey Haim?

Sad that he was so young, but not suprised as he always struggled with drugs.

Congratulations Amy and Kevin and WELCOME Sammy!!!!

Theresa - I'm so very sorry that this is happening. I wish there was more I could do than pray for you! Try to keep positive, but I know that's easier said than done.

Deb - Congrats on all the baskets for the raffle! What a tremendous amount of work!

Jennifer - I hope your knee feels better soon.

Marci - It's good to see you. How are things with you and your family?

Janet - Your ADR's sound really good! You are going to have a great time!

Bernadette - Hooray for booking! I'm so pleased about your bonus and the wage unfreezing! Good signs!

Alan's work is showing signs of improvement, as well. They recently hired 2 new photographers, which tells us that the photogs are safe, at least. Whew! It would be nice to know that the economy is bouncing back, eh?

Busy day here, today (again!). Errands in the morning, studying in the afternoon, Scouts roundtable at 7:00, and book club at 8:00. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to book club! I need the interaction of other adult females!

Have a great day, everyone!

More cruise shopping today....more bra shopping:rolleyes1 except no one bothered me this time. Childrens Place had a great sale so I got dresses for Sophie, dress shirts & pants for Daniel. I traced Daniel's foot on a peice of paper & used that to get his dress shoes...better than trying to shoe shop with a less than willing 10 year old boy! All I need is memory cards for my camera & I "think" I have everything...

Good afternoon, DDA!

Congratulations, Amy, Kevin, Alyssa, Matthew, and Noah! Welcome, Sammy!

 Theresa! I am so sorry that you are going through even more stress and hard times.

Jennifer, pixiedust: that your knee is better soon and that the antibiotics treat the staph quickly.

Bernadette, :woohoo: for booking the July trip and for the good news from your work!

I'm still working on getting my "craft closet" cleaned out and reorganized. I have too much stuff in this little house! I don't think I'll ever need to buy another pencil again for the rest of my life, and I donated a large bunch to the elementary school. They must have been reproducing in the dark of the closet or something. I have let this place go for way too long!

I go pick Matthew up tomorrow. He'll be home for a week for his spring break. We don't really have anything planned. I still have to work, and the other two are still in school.

Your cruise is coming up quickly! I need to go bra shopping, but I'm putting it off as long as possible. I certainly don't want your last experience!

Miles is infamous around here when it comes to shoe shopping. Nothing ever fits him right or feels comfortable. I would tell him to live with dress shoes for as often as he'd wear them, but getting his every day shoes is TORTURE.

Check you CC accounts.

I check mine often, but was just notifiyed of a fraud alert on my account. Was able to dispute the attempted charges and they are cancling my account and issuing me a new number and card.

Hi everyone...is it Friday yet??? I feel like this is the never ending week . I am now sitting in the waiting room at the dentist so I finally have achance to post...hope all is well

Amy-Welcome to Sammy!!! Can't wait to see a photo.

Theresa-so sorry for all you're going through.

Jennifer-:wizard:Hope you're doing better!

Debbie-good luck with your shoulder!!!:wizard:

So I booked a hotel for 7/18 to 7/27 today BUT...the flight I wanted to take on the 18th went from $169 to $234.:headache: That is leaving at 8:15am (takes 3 hours). The flight at 9:35am is $169 for 3 but $194 for the last 2. The flight at 2:20pm is $149 for 4 and $169 for the last one. OR we could go an any of those flights for $149 on Monday for all 5 of us. I was willing to pay the extra $100 to fly on Sunday but I won't pay those prices for the 8:15 flight and not sure I want to pay the extra $150 to fly on Sunday at 9:35am and don't want to take the 2:20 flight. UGH...I knew I should have just booked them....at least all the flights home on the 27th are still $99.

you should try shoe shopping with a 39 year old man with a 6E width foot. We start buy putting the sole of the shoe against his foot, if his foot is wider than the sole then there is no point in trying it on :rotfl::rotfl: I think I have actually given up shopping locally. I have been able to find 5E and 6E width shoes online lately and the foot pain that he was experiencing has disappeared.

:cool1::cool1:We're excited. Does that mean you can come to a BBQ at the THV's on the 22nd? Of course we need some park time too. I'm sure that Lizzy and Hunter will have fun and Joe and Emma and Colby too. :goodvibes

I won't let myself get excited until I book airfare. Won't be real til I do that.

The cookout was what pushed me over the edge to really want to book the trip. It will be so much fun!!! I know Gene will really enjoy it too.

I know the kids will have a blast together too!!!

Gene's birthday is the 23rd so I'll have to plan something fun for him. The 23rd is a Friday. Last year we went fishing on a Saturday and that worked good to stay out of the parks on a Saturday but I think we should go fishing on his birthday because he really LOVED it last year. I think we'll do the Epcot area this year. Our guide last year said there were more fish at MK but the fish are bigger at Epcot. Then we'll have to go someplace nice for his birthday. We all enjoy California Grill but I think Gene would also enjoy Flying Fish and he might like the ease of getting there from BWI. I could also get him a cake for BW Bakery.

I checked Southwest for flights. They don't fly direct out of Boston-yet. It is more expensive to fly SW out of NH than Jet Blue from Boston. Out of Rhode Island SW is about the same as Jet Blue but we would have to pay to park and I hate that 1 1/2 hour+ drive home when I'm tired and in a post Disney funk. I also checked Delta out of Boston. They have a flight for the same price as Jet Blue but it leaves Boston at 7am-a bit too early or 6pm-too late and the one for the Jet Blue price leaves Orlando at 8am instead of 3pm. I really should just book Jet Blue!!!!
