DDA Chapter 25

Hi Ya'll,

I am just so excited. After a lot of speculations and phone calls, we found out that the Pirates in the Caribbean party on the Magic will be on Sept 28 which is my birthday!!!!!
This means at least I will have fireworks on my day!!!

I am still having some issues with the Vertigo. I am hoping to go back on Wednesday and be much much better. It really takes over your life If I had the money I would just go down to WDW and ride the RnRC. That would get those crystals back in place!!!

What a busy day. I made crepes for the kids breakfast this week, did laundry, planted all of our outside containers and mowed the lawn all before going to an 8th Grade parent's meeting. I had bought way too many flowers so I had to get very creative coming up with some new ones. Now the gron and back of the house have nice containers. I also recaulked my Mickey and Minnie lights so I can use those again. I'm just waiting for darkness.

I even put little solar lights in my containers

I can't find any information on last nights standoff from any news source. I've heard lots of gossip though. Apparently it started on Friday when the women of the house broke all of the windows out of the house and threw all kinds of things onto the lawn. No idea why. Police were called sometime Friday for a domestic dispute and found the woman walking up the road with 2 garbage bags of clothes, one with a hole in in and a trail of clothes behind her. At some point before 11:30 PM on Friday the man assaulted her and she ended up in the hospital. Apparently they went to arrest him Friday night, but he somehow escaped. Saturday he must have went back to the house and the police were tipped off which lead to the standoff. Apparently he surrendered around 10 PM last night. I sure wish I had known it as I had a very restless night wondering and thinking the worst.

Tonight was the first of our three huge recitals. We have another tomorrow and one (actually three) on Wednesday night. Then I just have my class recitals left to do. Unfortunately my Virginia Federation of Music Clubs' annual convention comes smack dab in the middle of my recital schedule. So, it will drag on forever, I fear! I had one recital on May 12, and the last day of recitals will be June 10.

Sounds like you've got a few busy weeks ahead of you!

Thanks for all the good vibes. They won, 10-0, so they'll play in the semifinals in two weeks. I said hi to the exMIL. Xbil totally ignored me. He could have at least been cordial in front of the kids. Oh well, it will be at least another year before I am forced to see them again, if not longer.

this weekend has gone like a blur! I am busy helping to remodel my bathroom so that is taking a chunk of time. Tongiht i started being lazy and have been watching the brooks and dunn special-anyone else watching?

I found Lost to be way too confusing for my liking. I'm trying to organize projects and who has agreed to do them for the Grad Dance. These next several weeks are so so busy between Lacrosse, work, concerts, class trips, Dance, Graduation, ugh.

We are having issues with ABC here. It's REALLY making me mad because we get half a picture or skipping words. It's bad enough that they have "technical difficulties" on the screen - I can only imagine how many people are calling into DirecTV!

Daniel had a fever yesterday & still felt warm this morning..Sophie woke up with red cheeks (which means she's getting sick). Daniel had a school trip to Jamestown on Friday & that about knocked him out since they left at 5am & got home at 10:30pm..

I didn't sleep a wink last night..stupid me watched ghost hunters or somthing like that...I never watch those shows & know they cannot be real but what I saw was too real for me & scared the cr@p out of me.

I have major errands to run today! This is the last week of school for the kids, so I need to get my tushie in gear. We leave for our trip at 10:30 Friday morning! So much to do, and so little time.

Elizabeth will be happy to know that I have the packing lists all done, and will start packing today or tomorrow.
