Beth!
Hi DDA,
The dizziness is almost gone. I am feeling much better.
The thing about getting older is one has to start thing about having tests that really don't sound like much fun. After being pressured by my Dr, I had the colonoscopy done today. This was my first one and it sure is a lot harder than one would think when you have to drink a total of two gallons of liquids.(the guidelines this Dr wanted)
Stephanie was my driver and I was happy she was there with me. I was done in 20 minutes with the actual procedure and am NORMAL!!!!! I don't have to go back until ten years from now.![]()
Great news Terry,
Anne Marie - I hope the smash and bash wasn't too bad and that all is well
Thanks for all the well wishes, I have to be at the hospital a 5 in the morning so I should be out of surgery fairly early. If all goes well I will be home by tomorrow afternoon, if I have any breathing issues I will be spending the night.
I'm not sure when I'll be back on, I'm supposed to be getting a pain block so maybe I'll be able to type a one handed note sometime tomorrow evening.

It's time to take another Hibiclens shower and head out to the hospital,
I'll check back as soon as I can!
I am typing on my new keyboard which is connected to my new computer. So far, so good. But I hate having to set everything up again!
I know what you mean-I have heard of that behavior in schools and i still am shocked everytime i hear about it. i am so lucky to have my school and district. I am complemented frequently on my class when people come in my classroom and they are all listening or working quietly in centers.... and on that note....
NO PINK TODAY! apparently we can officially be notified by may 15, but i am doubting i would get a call or something tomorrow so im thinking things are good! thanks for the good thoughts!
Happy birthday, Tia!!!!!!
Here is Laura before the prom. I don't know how any of the others feel about me posting photos, so you just get her.

...I felt better after getting it off my chest, and then I walked back into the theater, and sat down by Jacob. The manager came in and got the usher out of there. I tried not to let it ruin my afternoon, but it was insulting. I don't even know what she was smelling, as we didn't even have hamburgers yesterday! We had BLT's. No onions!

Debbie - good luck tomorrow!!!
Terry - I am glad you are doing better!
Good morning, DDA!
I hope that all is well with everyone. We've got a slow morning as the older one isn't coming until closer to 10 and the baby is asleep. Hopefully, I can get Phil's big cookie I am making him for our anniversary done before that all changes. (Okay so now the baby is already waking up because my darling daughter is being louder than necessary, but I should still be able to do it.) My sweet husband is so funny. He got up at 4am this morning to try and make me chocolate covered strawberries. Since I can't eat the seeds, he was trying to pick them off with tweezers. Well, his needing-glasses-eyes couldn't see them well enough to do it. When he told me this morning I told him that I had just tried to shave off the sides of the strawberries with a knife so I think he's going to try that this afternoon. I figure if ever it was "it's the thought that counts", this is it.

Wow, that's an ambitious project that Phil took on. He gets Husband of the year in my book![]()
