Thanks. I'm thinking they are capable of staying home together. Now if I could just get Nicholas to cut the apron strings and want to be away from me for a bit. I know I should enjoy it because it won't last forever, but good golly, sometimes it's annoying.

Thanks for all the book recommendations. She decided on Kingdom Keepers, of all things. I think she's read chapter one. I'm interested to see if she sticks with it.

We watched The Proposal last night....actually quite good.

There must have been a piece of chocolate that snuck out of the box sometime while we were eating them last night as I woke up with chocolate up and down my good leg and all over the sheets.

It is expensive initially, but it really does last forever. I'm still using the same containers that I initially bought and it's been nearly 2 years I love how you don't feel like you're wearing makeup.

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day, DDA!!

We're birthday-ing for Rachel, Kassie, Terra and Dad today. I had forgotten about trying to get Apples to Apples Disney edition so I may be running to Toys R Us later this morning. Otherwise, we're cooking up the turkey Chris got from work at Christmastime, making a few sides and having a few desserts. I'm thinking about running down to see whether I ended up freezing a baked or unbaked pie crust since Terra requested a pumpkin pie to go with the lemon pie and banana pudding. I know she doesn't like lemon pie and I don't know if she likes the pudding.

So we are now fully booked for California! I got a hotel right by Orange County airport so it will be easy for Phil to get to the hotel when he flies in and we won't have to leave DL. Plus, it was only $12 more a night than the other area hotels and offers a free made to order breakfast every morning- waffles, pancakes, oatmeal bar, omelets. As my sister pointed out, we couldn't go to McDonald's for that price. I was also able to get the car rental down to $158 (from 275 and then 215) through Priceline. Add to that Phil's mom sending us enough for the hotel as well as the plane tickets she had said she'd pay for and we are set! Woohoo!!!

Terra's so excited. Okay, who am I kidding. I am too!!! Just have to make it through the week and I get my Disney fix.

We're off to have lunch and then to Sams to pick up more party things,
the local Mardi Gras Parade is today but I think we'll pass on it this year.
