Could everyone please keep myBob and his family in your thoughts and prayers. His mom passed away. There will be no service or burial. She did not want one, and she wanted her body donated to science. They will be having a memorial service sometime in the spring. I don't know if I could handle that, not having the closure that goes along with a viewing and burial.

Tammi- Bob and his family are in my thoughts. What Bob's mom wanted was exactly what my grandmother wanted. It is hard. Many, many hugs. :wizard:

Glynis- I hope the sickies leave your house soon!:wizard:

Deb- :wizard: for you and Nick.

Becky- I hope you feel better soon! :wizard:

Steffy- Same to you. :wizard: Happy Birthday to your dad.

Heidi- I hope your cough subsides soon. :wizard:

Elizabeth- Mmm, Cake!!! Hope it was delish!!! Happy Birthday to DS.

Elin- Congrats to Miss America & Fredericksburg.

Debbie- WOW, 140!! It'll be so much fun planning!!! I love 1st birthdays. Happy Birthday to Tara.

Bernadette- So glad to hear you had a good time on your trip with Emma.

Anne Marie- Have you managed to dig yourself out with the garden shovel?! Love it!!

Tia- Glad you and Terra had a nice breakfast together yesterday. Sorry for all the hassles with your troop. I feel your pain, if that helps any!!

I know I missed some of you!!

Mo did not get the memo that she has pneumonia. We kept her (and Em & Lu) inside all day yesterday in hopes of having her rest. She managed to keep up her pace most of the day. But she was ready for bed by 8. This morning Lu started with the cough. Thankfully, Em has her well check tomorrow so I'll have the Dr. check Lu at too.

We have a birthday party for my girlfriend's daughter today. It was canceled yesterday. I WISH it was canceled today as it's an hour from her. Blech!

Have a great Sunday, DDA!!!

Not a big deal. I wondered why no one commented on the post. I thought it was such a cool feature. :lmao:

I think it is too! But I guess I was just in skimming mode last week and missed the ramifications of your post. :rotfl2:

Strange. I suppose I could go the roundabout way, to Rt. 1, and into St. Mary's. I NEED to get to Giant also. I seem to do my snow shopping AFTER the fact, instead of hording like the rest of the world.

We need to get out today too. myBob is almost out of cigarettes. :lmao:

Glynis - I wish the sickies would leave your family alone!!

Debbie - I agree that WDW should offer you accommodations if you have to make a trip back there to testify.

So sorry. Prayers for Bob and his family.

Becky-:wizard:hope you're feeling better!

Glynis-:wizard:hope all of yours are feeling better and you can get some rest!

Debbie-good luck with the party and hope Disney will do the right thing! I agree they would be very well served by you pressing charges!

Tia-I wish it were 33 here!

Robyn - I am assuming you all didn't get as much snow as we did if you are anticipating a drive to a birthday party an hour away!

It is beautiful here and I don't get to enjoy it.....but I am very thankful we got Cassidy a laptop earlier this month or I would be completely and utterly bored. Pain isn't too bad until I have to move which I only do to go potty or go from sittting up to lying down and vice versa.

Glynis-I hope the sickies leave for good soon!

Maybe some of us could take the beautiful off of your hands for a little while. Just so it won't have to tease you. ;)

How was Cassidy's dance last night?

Cassidy said the dance was boring but they than went bowling and had fun there..She was so pretty in her dress...I will see if I can get one of the girls to download the few pics that Abi took of Cassidy and Josh today.

Deb - I'm so sorry I forgot to post about you and Nick! Please know that I am praying for him. After what you went through with Hunter, I think you are very smart to press for answers NOW! I'm hoping it will be something simply fixed, and not worrisome! However, I know that you will worry, anyway, that's what we mom's do! Have the doctor's check his iron levels. When mine get low, I get really dizzy, and the room blacks out for a while. Since I upped my iron dosage, I haven't had a problem. Also have them check his thyroid, since that can cause problems of a similar nature!

Robyn - if you decide to go, be careful!! It's cold out there! I guess I'm glad that the pneumonia isn't stopping Mo! She can't be feeling too bad, I guess, huh?

Elin - Congrats on Miss America! That's so exciting! I have to admit that I totally forgot it was on last night. I spent the entire day studying one chapter and doing all the practical exercises. I finished just in time to go to Katie's play, and when that was over, I literally crawled in bed. I didn't even turn on the tv!

We got about 7-8 inches. But we decided to stay home. Or actually Eric threw a fit and we are now staying home. But shhh, don't tell him I said that, lol!!

Robyn - I am assuming you all didn't get as much snow as we did if you are anticipating a drive to a birthday party an hour away!

Tammi, I am sorry for Bob's loss. Please tell him we will be thinking of him!

Glynis, I hope everyone is well soon! Have you ever tried the Balmex/Maalox mixture for diaper rash? It works pretty well.

Debbie, that sounds like a FABULOUS party! Good luck with the WDW hotel. I do think it would be nice of them to provide lodging for you.

Lots and lots of :wizard: for the sickies. They sure seem to be making their rounds through the DDA. We ventured out to church and the grocery store. The secondary roads were actually completely clear, except when I had to go through the city proper. They are still snow covered.

I took Colby to his snowboarding lesson today. It is still very cold and windy out. My fingers were frozen. He was excited to have me there though. I think I'll bring my skis next week and do a couple of runs with him.

We just got in. The kids went sleighriding. They had a great time with all the hills here...The roads are all icy & great for sleigh riding but not for school buses so they closed school for tomorrow.

I ended up with full body hives this afternoon. They hit about an hour after we came in. I had to crawl into bed with my mattress pad turned on. I took a nap and am okay now. Man I was itchy for awhile.
