Ah, the fun part. Getting rid of the lingering cough. Hope it's gone soon.

I'm trying to mend my ways and declutter this house, I don't know how we have collected so much stuff, but I'm determined to get rid of most of it.

Good luck! That's what I'm really working on too. I really need to get moving on the part where I tackle the basement. I think I'm going to bring up one or two boxes a day and go through them, at least to start. It will take awhile, but at least then it's not so overwhelming.

It's been snowing since about 7pm last night. Looks like we have about 6 inches on the ground. They expect anywhere from 10-12 inches when the snow stops mid-day.

My kids are in their pj's & already we have had kids at the door wanting them to come & play in the snow!

Wow, you're getting quite the storm. We ended up with a little less than an inch, but at least it wasn't the nasty, nasty ice that all our family got in Oklahoma.

Good morning, DDA! Terra and I are off to enjoy some breakfast together. She has asked for "the place where I got the Minnie Mouse pancake" so I guess we're going to Mimi's Cafe. I have some gift card left there so that's even better!

I need to figure out if I am going to go to my Dad's house today. It's his birthday. But if I am in anyway still sick, that wouldn't be such a good thing to do.

I felt tired and drained at work yesterday and then I stopped at the store to get a coffee pot on sale and felt woozy. Don't know if I'm really up to driving 4 hours. Guess I should call and just ask him.

Good morning.

The snow has started and it is to continue most of the day. Right now we have about 1/2 an inch. How is it in your neck of the woods, Anne Marie? I know that it is supposed to be worth south of us.

It is coming down like crazy out there. I had to take Kristin to work this morning and we had about an inch of snow. We have about 4 inches now.

I need to get going and bake the cake I have for my daughter, she's 29 today, I don't know where the time went.

Tammi - we will just miss you this summer, but Deb and Anne Marie our trips will overlap.

We should definitely plan to meet up. I've been kind of waiting to see who else adds dates during that time frame.





It seems that Virginia and the Carolinas have had more snow storms then we have this year. Parts of our lawn has no snow. It is very cold here though. It was -1 without wind chill when we went to bowling this morning.

The boys bowled well today and Nick did extremely well. He bowled a 142, 188 and 94 with a 94 average He was as excited as a 14 year old gets

Cassidy - why surgery? Pins? Lots of for you, Theresa!

It's Theresa...thank you all for the well wishes. The dr. didn't say why exactly...just that with these breaks it's what is ordered....the dr. explained it this way "your ankle is attached to your leg by a "fork" of bones (three) and you have broken all three"

I also had another complication before leaving the ER...my iv actually leaked into my arm...quite a bit but I didn't notice until they were taking it out so I got to stay another hour with my arm up with heat on it and my leg elevated. Going to the potty has been most interesting.
