Debbie thank you for your card and generosity  Again we find ourselves overwhelmed by amazing friends.

You're more than welcome.

Welcome home Amy, I hope the kids are on the mend soon. Brandon and Aubrey both have a runny nose and cough and my youngest daughter is feeling pretty bad, I hope they all are better for Christmas.

Theresa -

I made our reservations for our trip. We currently have a studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah View at Jambo House Feb. 24-26. We are waitlisted for Concierge level. I'm still hoping that we'll pull that off as well as the Sunrise Safari. Feb. 26-28 we'll be in Tampa visiting my brother & his family. Feb. 28-Mar. 7 we have a studio at Saratoga Springs. We are finally starting to get excited about this trip. We have never planned this late but I think both of us were afraid that we wouldn't be able to go so we just postponed discussing it. I'm so happy that we are actually able to go. :dance3:

I love the bag but I'm really more of a Tigger fan than Mickey. Now, if that had Tigger on it, I'd be all over it.

I actually love this one, but it is alot more expensive

:cool1::cool1:I'm sure you'll have a terrific time. It sounds like you both need to get away :goodvibes

The first part of our Christmas card order came in today. I've spent most of the evening addressing envelopes. Hopefully the rest of the order will show up tomorrow or Tuesday as I'd like to finish up.

Hunter is back to his old self. He is trying to boss everyone around  The doctor warned this might happen as he is tapered off the steroids. After tonight he will just be on the anti seizure meds. That will continue for a few more months. The swelling is practically gone, even in the incision. The hair is already growing back too. Colby is following him around like a little puppy dog today. He just loves his big brother.

Hi, I hope you are all doing well.

I wrapped some gifts today. Made a bunch of hot chocolate cones. Shoveled snow. Did some cleaning. Got stuff together for my work potluck tomorrow. My 3 day weekend is coming to a close. Back to work for 3 1/2 days, then 3 days off.

Christmas with my Mom's family was canceled last night due to the weather and I have no idea when it is going to be held now. I actually have no idea when any Christmas is happening as my Mom has to work on Christmas day. Normally she works 6:30am-3:30pm but on Christmas she has to work like 11:30am-7:30pm.

I should head to bed.

Deb- I am glad Hunter is doing well.

Vicki- Congrats on making your trip plans.

Bernadette- Sending good thoughts to you and your family.

I hope everyone who is sick feels better soon.:wizard::grouphug:

Good morning. :)

Vicki - I'm so glad this trip has become a realty for you. You both need the break, and the togetherness.

I wonder what today will bring. I have to work today, so I'm hoping the roads are at least passable.

Thanks, Debbie. I hope your family feels better ASAP, too! :goodvibes

Morning-

One last stint at Goodwill this morning and then I am not sure....I did my 40 hours all this week so I can be home over Christmas Break with the girls.

I went to my bedroom last night at 8 after coming home at 6, taking a shower to remove 8 layers of dust/grime and making dinner. I held it all together until I was leaving Goodwill when the person who could check me out wouldn't do so a couple of minutes early...instead came in 5 minutes late and said, "To tell you the truth I forgot about you." Well his forgetting me meant I got to watch the bus go by while I was waiting to cross the busiest street in the Denver area. I must have looked beautiful when the next one came 15/20 minutes later...I just sobbed. So I told Jim and Cassidy (Abi was at a sleepover) that their best bet was to not talk to me last night. Jim tried talking to me and I repeated myself.

Still didn't sleep very well but that is about par for the course anymore.

I hope that today is a better day, Theresa. :grouphug: Enjoy your time with the girls!!

This white Christmas stuff is highly overrated.

That is a beautiful site! I'm so jealous!! Your house looks wonderful too.

We're home early.

My stepmom came down with the flu on Friday, so we didn't get to celebrate Christmas today. My dad insisted we stop by to pick up the presents, but I'm hoping they'll decide to drive down to visit us when they are both feeling up to it.

We had a nice celebration with my mom and stepdad yesterday. Of course, my mom went overboard. Everyone was home except for my step-sister, who seldom makes family appearances.

Noah still has a yucky nose and cough, and Alyssa and Matty are coughing now, too. Hopefully everyone will get a good night's sleep tonight and they'll be on the road to recovery for Christmas in Cincinnati.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. If it snowed here in Cincinnati, it's gone now, and it didn't snow in Huron. Take care, DDA! :wave2:

Hope she's feeling better soon and that they get to make a trip down.

That's great news!!! I'm so glad that he's doing well. What a wonderful Christmas it will be for you all!

Good afternoon, DDA!

We had a great time with the family in town this weekend. Lots of yummy baking, cookie decorating, the traditional (hilarious) round of Apples to Apples, Terra and Rachel's Christmas concert, a trip to the (insanely crowded on Saturday) mall, and infinite amounts of laughter. Gotta love it!

Now, it's off to wrap some presents and figure out what's left to do before Thursday night. I work late the next three nights and have kids during those days so they'll be full ones! I think Kristi and I are going shopping on Thursday as we're both off of work (finally) as are Chris and Phil. That way they can keep the kids and we can finish our shopping, which is mainly Santa stuff. I hate the idea of shopping on Christmas Eve, but don't know when else it will happen. Oh well. It's still good!

Well, Terra's asking for the computer and I have more than enough to do so I guess I'd better skedaddle. Have a good one everybody!

Hello :wave2:

It's been a busy day. Nick had an orthodontist appointment this morning. It is recommended that he get braces soon. We may do it in the fall. His teeth do not look bad, I think Colby and hunter will need them more :confused3

I got the first batch of Christmas cards in the mail, hopefully the rest will be in tomorrow. I also made another couple dozen ornaments as we ran out. Laundry is caught up and dinner has been eaten. I guess all in all it was a sucessful day.

Hunter is doing well, but still tired. He took a nap this afternoon. I'm glad that he is willing to rest in order to heal.

Glynis any word from your doctor?
