Terry - I hope your back feels better today. And on finding a dress!! I agree with the sucking sentiment on aging. I remember having this conversation with my Mom a long time ago. She said her mind was still 21 but her body didn't believe her any more.

Anne Marie - I am so glad you got to go to NY last week! You all are brave souls to be at Times Square. It was so nice to see you and Dana and the kids, even though it was a very fleeting meeting. Next time we need to plan it all a little better.

Bernadette - You will be at WDW the same time Kristin and her friend will be there. I want to know if the main reason for your trip is also to see Davy Jones in concert?? How nice to have gotten a discount.

I was amazed to see the huge general public discounts out already into June. Kristin got Pop Century for $78/$90 for the long weekend she is there. It was fun to hear her on the phone with CRO making the changes to her reservation. My baby is growing up.

It's 30 degrees outside here, although warmer than many of you that's verryyy cold for here.

I don't think I'll get to finish painting the ramp for our new shed today, we do have some work to do on the inside of the shed hopefully we won't freeze.

Here's something we saw on our November trip that I haven't shared yet, we saw a crew filming Mickey and this family receiving a "gift",

I'm not sure what it was all about, maybe we'll see this family on extreme home makeover one day.

Do they do Make-A-Wish trips for adults? The woman in the photo looks like the has a turban on to cover hair loss. What a nice thing to see happen, Debby. I wonder what the logo on the cameraman's vest says?

Well....Davy Jones did impact in my decision but only because I knew Terry would be there to see him. I couldn't get reasonable airfare to go Sat to Sat and be home for Mother's Day so at DH's suggestion I'll be at WDW for Mother's Day and we will celebrate at home on another day. So I will be at WDW to see Davy Jones.

Thanks for mentioning the general public codes. I didn't see that they were out that far and someone just asked me about going in March. Yay for Kristin's great rate!

My baby is 16 today! My emotions are mixed, I am happy yet sad at the same time. My baby is not my baby anymore, seems like time is going so fast now

I have to try to get something done today. We still haven't put any Christmas stuff away (DH likes to wait until after 1/5). I want to make Emma a few things for her birthday trip. I also told her I would do a photobook from Kodak to use as an autograph book like I did for Joe. I think I better work on that today so it will arrive in time!!!!

I wish I could say I was feeling better but I still have a lot of chest congestion. It might be time to start thinking about calling a doctor. I can't go away like this!

Good morning!

You should see the piles of laundry we have acummulated!! Many layers on 5 people certainly add up. New York was great (but cold!). We saw lots of family & friends. Dana & I went past our old house just to take a peak. NYE in Times Square was crowded but well controlled by the NYPD. We left before the ball dropped & ate at ESPN Zone (can't miss cheese fries you know!). We also stopped at the Fashion Institute of Technology to see their museum...Katie has her eye on FIT for college. The drive home was pretty good (going to NY the day after Christmas was a nightmare, bad weather, crazy drivers, & lots O traffic!)

Oh, Dana & I even got a date night, we saw Up in The Air with George Clooney. We liked it & it was nice to get out alone even for just a movie.

37 degrees here now, but they say by the end of the week we will be in the teens. I have to figure out what to wear to Pixie's baptism, which was challenging enough without the arctic air.

Bernadette, I think you should probably go to the Dr.

I am pleased that the general public room codes end the day before we get there! I also noticed the codes are lower for shorter stays. That seems to be how they are structuring the discounts now - minimum stays or greater incentives for longer stays. Interesting.

We bought Wii Fit Plus yesterday. DS is having a good time with it.

So now that it's 2010, I am starting to plan for summer....hope some of you will be in Disney..we are planning August 1-10 (or 14th if we can swing it) at the Beach Club.

It's 15 here, but the wind is blowing too. Nick has gone snowboarding with a friend and Chris will be taking Colby later. It is his first lesson for this year. Chris will get a twilight ticket and snowboard with Nick and Colby from 2 - 4 PM. I'm staying in as my allergy to cold would certainly have me covered in hives today.

Does everyone that is planning a trip to Disney this summer have your dates picked out? I am trying to decide if we should go in June with the deal that is out now or wait till Aug. & hope for free dining. I would l love to meet up with some of you, seems like it has been forever!
