One thing that seems weird is there are buses to MK from the Contempoary, I would think eveyone would just take the monorail.

Thank you, Heidi (and everyone else). I just heard from Sandy and the services for Greg are on Saturday. I can't go! I have to judge a piano festival at the University that day and there is no way I can get out of it at this late date. I feel like I am abandoning her.

I also am dealing with the issue of the early December trip. I am expecting that it will not happen. I know I couldn't do it if I were in her shoes. But maybe she will feel she needs to get away. I don't know. I am not concerned about the little bit of money I have invested in the trip. I think I can get Disney to take back my MVMCP ticket and AirTran will issue a credit for my flights. I am pretty sure that the town car company will be understanding too.

But, I am very sorry that I might not get to meet you all at Mama Melrose.

OK folks....saying good bye now. Not sure if I will make it back on. Today is also my mother's bday...so I am having a little party for her tonight. I "may" be done packing. I am feeling out of sorts this trip....hopefully I will get my mojo back!!

We managed to get to MK in time for the park opening ceremony! In three hours, we rode Dumbo, Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan, Small World and Barnstormer (twice), and we met with Ariel, Tink, Fawn, and Terrence. We had never met Fawn and obviously, Terrence is new, so that was very cool!

Now Noah is napping, but I'm hoping to get us back to MK in time for the 3 p.m. parade. We took the bus back here (our parking spot was too good at MK) and it took 45 minutes. There's a MVMCP party tonight, so hopefully Noah won't mind a short nap, since it will be an early night. He's really doing well, though he's not showing the characters too much love. At least he's not screeching at them though.

Gary & I went away for the night & just returned home. Feels good to get away everyone once in a while. Did some Christmas shopping at Kohls & bought a few more decorative house items.

We haven't had any surges to my knowledge..don't think we had anything happen while we were away. We have all our stuff plugged into surge protectors but I agree, it's weird that our electronics are just pooping out at the same time. I guess we are going to go alittle while without a tv in the family room because that's just in the budget right now.

I miss Chuck! It's my birthday and I'm sitting in an apartment all by myself. What was I thinking when I took this job? Don't get me wrong, I love the job but I sure miss Chuck.

Well, after staying up to administer stitches to a mouse's eyeball, I think I'm off to bed. Terra's Tutter stuffed animal met up with Bella (Kristi's dog) tonight and suffered a torn eyeball. The eyes are apparently just a piece of fabric over a plastic eyeball. Luckily, the plastic wasn't pierced, just the fabric torn. I was able to sew the ribs back together to Terra's satisfaction so all is well now. It was a couple of hours of concern though as Tutter is about as alive as any stuffed animal could be. Phil voices him when they play and Tutter has even been known to talk to Terra (and me, much to my personal dismay) on the phone when we're out of town. Phil's voice is an uncanny resemblance and he does it so well, it's hard to remember that Tutter isn't real sometimes, even for me. Luckily, though, all is as it should be now. Terra waited up for me to finish sewing him up and is now crashed out on the playroom floor. Guess I get to carry her up the stairs. When did she get so big that I can barely do that anymore?

Think we have gremlins in the house....first our phones died, or main pc just stopped working altogether & now my 2 year old tv won't turn on!!!

Well even in the light of day, Chuck wants to try to get a quick trip to Disney this December. So I will seriously look into it now. I did some checking last night but wasn't sure he would still be interested today.
