Sorry to hear Elin, good thoughts for the family.

I am devastated right now, but my grief cannot match hers. Her DH died while out biking with friends yesterday. He was only 45 and in good health. He and Sandy have 4 children, 3 in college and one a senior in HS. It is beyond my ability to comprehend right now.

Sorry to hear Elin, good thoughts for the family.

Thank you, Heidi (and everyone else). I just heard from Sandy and the services for Greg are on Saturday. I can't go! I have to judge a piano festival at the University that day and there is no way I can get out of it at this late date. I feel like I am abandoning her.

I also am dealing with the issue of the early December trip. I am expecting that it will not happen. I know I couldn't do it if I were in her shoes. But maybe she will feel she needs to get away. I don't know. I am not concerned about the little bit of money I have invested in the trip. I think I can get Disney to take back my MVMCP ticket and AirTran will issue a credit for my flights. I am pretty sure that the town car company will be understanding too.

But, I am very sorry that I might not get to meet you all at Mama Melrose.

Elin....Disney will definitely take back the MVMCP tickets. We had a situation with my sister who had a crisis and they took back all 5 of hers. I did have to mail them back. Also, If you are using Bob....I can't imagine him giving you a hard time.

Is anyone going to see The Blind Side? I always have intentions of going to see movies but never do. For example - was going to see Disney's Christmas Carol, now just going to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Yes got home yesterday around 5.


For me as long as we have a room to sleep I don't care what it looks like. John however loved BLT and that is the resort we will return to next Nov.


We were in a studio - room 8209 12th floor, with a lake view.

You still need a room key to enter the loby of BLT, but the doors to the walkway from the Contempoary anyone could get through as long as someone was coming out from BLT.

The elvators talk to you and are fast.

The room was plenty big enough for the 2 of us, but if there are more then 2 then I would go with a 1 or 2 bedroom. It was nice having some place other then the bed or chairs to sit on.

The bathroom is much bigger then at POFQ, and the sink is in the kitchenette.

I think the food court at POFQ has a better selection then the Contempo Cafe, but of course the Contempoary has 3 resturants - Chef Mickey, The Wave and California Grill.

Top Of The World (on 16th floor) is your typical lounge. John went out on the deck for a few minutes one night, but we decided to watch wishes out the windows at the 12th floor elvators. A couple of days later he went up at 5 to get pictures and said that you can see all 4 parks.
