Thanks! I am not super saavy on this stuff but netbooks do not have a CD right? I think I have to look for laptops so the kids can use the CD for games & movie watching.

I saw a laptop at best buy for $329 so far that is the cheapest I have seen where they have them in stock.

Yes-the net books have no CD drive-they are about 10". BUT...you could purchase an external CD drive for pretty cheap. I was thinking I would do that if my SIL got the kids netbooks. I have since told her not to buy them this year.

That Sony did have a CD drive and they have one for $479 that has a blu ray drive.


I want to buy myself a Blu ray player. I know nothing about them. Everything seems so confusing! I must be getting old.

ugggg.......I've been trying email myself a copy of my color coded matrix of fun for my December trip home from my office computer but it keeps getting sent as a zipped file and I cannot open it on my Mac. I even put it on a flash drive and it went compressed. The file isn't that big unzipped-only about 100K. I emailed another 2mb file and that went fine.

I really want to print it in color at home and this is driving me nuts. I suppose I could ask the IS folks but um...it isn't work related.

I do, I do!!!! I am working on it. Dana is ok with it but it all depends on his work schedule so he cannot give me a absolute yes since he does not have his schedule that far out. (But I am definately a maybe!)

We're home. The play was better than I had expected. Hunter and Colby seemed to enjoy it, or they at least enjoyed watching the gangsters. We knew a few of the kids that were in it so that helped.

Katrina and I are making plans to see the new Princess movie which comes out November 25. She called Grandma about all of us going when she is here for Thanksgiving.
