so last night I went to bed like I always do. Late, about 1:30am even though I had napped at least once for an hour earlier. I turned on the alarm and put my ear plugs in and my eye mask on.
The eye mask is because Hal comes back into the bedroom and turns on the light. The ear plugs are because of the noise he makes and because he snores loud enough to wake the dead!!!
I heard my alarm this morning but kept hitting the snooze button. Well apparently, I kept hitting it and did not realize that after an hour, it does not work any more. At 10 I looked up and went into a panic because I was supposed to have been at work by 9!!!!!!
I quickly called work and my co-worker said to quickly call Stephanie cause she was on her way over to my house!!!
She is highly allergic to cats,
so I am wondering how she was going to get in. She said she had it all planned out. She was going to get a rock and break a window and push past the cats and then slap me awake. If someone else was in the house, she was not sure how she was gonna handle that. If I was dead, that sure was gonna put a damper on the December trip
I told her to remember that we had gotten
trip insurance!!!
Needless to say this morning was a little exciting. I really must have needed the sleep having done that.
She is such a fantastic friend that she was willing to risk life to make sure I was okay.
