Kristine, they were here last year on January 3. I didn't look at tickets.

It seems whatever pre-sale Chase had for Mary Poppins is over. I found a Mousesavers code, but it is for Houston. The show goes there after it closes here. Boo. Guess we'll see what the drama teacher can do!

That's not bad for 6 people. Yeah, I guess I would prefer seeing them leading INTO Christmas, not after.

Good Morning DDA!!! (hey, it's still morning here)

I spent the morning with "my" bulletin stuffers. The funeral on Tuesday reminded me that I need to keep in better touch with my volunteers. The newest Office Manager is kind of scary. I have yet to see her smile.

I came home and have figured out how to download from my Sony (boy, those 450 pics took a long time) hopefully it's the proper way.

The drama teacher was talking about trying to take the kids to see "Mary Poppins" at the Music Hall. I am not sure she will be able to pull that together. The tickets are expensive, and the show is opening in, like, a minute.

Princess keeps telling Momboss she wants to go, but she is TERRIFIED of the children's theater. There is NO WAY she is ready for the Music Hall. I also think the show would be too long for her.

I go the pre-purchase code from Disney Visa, but I didn't think we were going. maybe I need to look again. I would like to take DS if the drama teacher can't swing a field trip.

I took a 4 year old with us and I think she was still too young for it. She definately got bored during some of the songs (slower ones of course) but enjoyed the faster ones. I'd say out of a 3 hour show...probably about an hour's worth of ants-in-the-pants for her. There were definately a lot of children though...

TSO for us is the 19th and 20th. We get 4 shows out of their visit. Tickets are so expensive and weather is so unpredictable Bob and I have never been able to actually commit to go see them. Living in the snow belt makes spending $150 hard to do that far ahead.

With Princess's track record of FREAKING OUT as soon as they dim the lights I am sure she will NOT be going to Mary Poppins. She won't be 4 until January - I can't imagine her sitting through 3 hours of ANYTHING.

OMG, the ship just crashed into an ice berg.

Some of my speculations for awhile have come true at work. The announcements came out today. The CEO and CFO/COO at my job resigned today. They basically waited until we were closed to send out the announcement, which they always tend to wait till weekends.

So we now have no CEO, no CFO, no COO, no VP of Membership, no VP of Program, no VP of marketing and communications, and several other key positions are missing these are what I recall off the top of my head.

They are having meetings on Tuesday to let us know what comes next.

The good news is I have a 3 day weekend, go back to work for 4 days, then have off for 9 days, go back to work for 4 days and have a 4 day week.

Katie fell during gym on concrete running the mile. Went to the pediatrician who sent us to ER. 6 hours later...she has a concussion. I am having a bowl of chocolate ice cream for dinner & then bed!

Chris and the kids are starting their 3 day weekend. Unfortunately I work one of my jobs each day so no break for me. We are going away next weekend so I'll get a weekend off then.
