Well, we start teacher meetings on Sept 1-3..then we start teaching on Sept 8. Im hoping to be able to get my room completely set up and done tomorrow. If not, ill have that hanging over my head when Im in dallas this week so i would rather get it done!

I did hear some news--i MAY be going skydiving next weekend! Im waiting to find out if i have a spot or not..its a bit crazy, but something my brother and I have always talked about, so we will see how it works out.

Well, i am off to bed--im getting up early to finish packing and then off to my classroom..goodnight

And it is not yet on their website for booking for 2011. I already looked.

You have a long time to wait for booking for 2011, unless they change things. They only released information and opened up 2010 bookings the Monday after Magic Meets. So in about a year will be able to book for 2011.

Another cast member death at WDW. This time it was at Indiana Jones. Good thoughts out there to all cast members.

Why I am still up I do not know. I need to learn to get to sleep earlier.

Good morning everyone! I'm back and have finally skimmed enough to join back in.

I know I missed Deb, but sending PD for great weather on her trip!

Anne Marie -- sending lots of prayers for your Mom! I had intended to get in touch to say Hi when we were over your way at WDW, but the Mom of one of the neighbors going with us on the trip was put in the hospital a few days before we left and for a while we were scrambling with all the arrangements as we didn't think they would make the trip. I'm glad you had a good time. Your pics are wonderful!

Jen -- I missed that you will be in Dallas. Anything I can do to help?

Lindsay -- I love that name! Of course, it is Jake's middle name. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

We had a fantastic trip, even with the neighbors with us. I'll try to start posting some pics soon. Have a good day, DDA!

So I've been up for an hour, made lunches and monkey bread

It's the first day of school...in a year full of lasts. Both girls are going to their respective schools for the last year. I've been an emotional wreck, more so than I think I would be because of the other stresses in my life.

It's now time to go back to bed

The interview went well yesterday...I will take it as a good sign that they told me I was the first person to interview (when they called to set it up she just told me when to be there...no options). This would also be a newly created position, so it would be mine to mold.

Thanks...Ill be there Wednesday-Monday. I think we may bring the Garmin to find restaurants and stuff near our hotel, but other than that, i think were good, but thanks! I hear it is HOT!!!

Well, we got to the school and they were waxing the floors so we cant get to our rooms...its so frustrating!! So now im back home

Welcome home and back, Marci! Hope you had some good time off.

Theresa - Hope you're surviving the first day back.

The kids are off to school here as well. Connor was apparently very excited this morning and got on the bus with smiles all around. Kassie too. Chase is missing them already, but hopefully will enjoy her mom-time. Kristi says that Chase wants to make applesauce.

Terra and I are off for breakfast. After that, I've got to get some house stuff done before we're off and really running for the rest of the day - park day, trip to Scout office and night at the Magic House. And that is more than enough!

Elin had mentioned maybe trying to get a meet together for that first weekend in December.

WHO IS INTERESTED???

Our plans so far are:
Friday 12/4 - Epcot (dinner at Coral Reef)
Saturday 12/5 - MGM (dinner at Yachtsman)
Sunday 12/6 - MK and MVMCP (dinner at Crystal Palace)
Monday 12/7 - MAYBE a quick run to AK for a ride on Everest before departure.

Elin was looking at maybe doing something in the afternoon on 12/5. Where is everyone going to be? I am hoping to get our dinner ADR for 6 PMish so we will have time to go see the Osborne Lights after dinner. Of course if the park closes at some asinine hour that might not work, but that is my current plan. MGM isn't usually a whole day park for us so we can do whatever in the afternoon. We are staying at AKL.

Hi, DDA,

I don't have much time to post at the moment, but we're still hanging in here. I had a pretty bad night last night, but the baby is still in utero, and we just hope to keep him there for as long as conceivably possible at this point. I'm 35 weeks today, and would love to see him make it at least another 2, but I just don't know any more.

I'll update more later today, but I have a quick question/favor to ask. Would someone be willing to post or PM me the recipe for Glynis' famous pot roast? THANKS!!!!
