Dana just got an email..he has a big managers meeting the week of 8/17!!!!



I can either leave Disney early (um no!)
Stay with just me & the kids
Move the trip up & lose my free dining.

I am so po'd! right now!!!

Oh no. I'm so sorry. If you stay with the kids, how many days early will he have to leave?

Good morning, DDA!!

Lots of house cleaning going on today. Eric's cousin from Germany and her 2 friends along with Eric's parents are coming over tonight for a cookout. And from the looks of our fridge~ lots of beer drinking. Lord help me!!

Little Cat is fine. Mostly. I noticed this morning that his right eye is kind of "winking", so I suspect there will be eye drops in our future. Other than that he is good. Eating, drinking, using his litter box. He is very playful. And he yells if nobody is playing with him. DH is dying to let him out of the bathroom. We are taking him to the vet in a couple of hours.

I just came back from the fitness center, so that's out of the way for today. I *REALLY* want to try to exercise on the treadmill Tu & Th next week before work. If I can do Wii Fit M, W, & Fr. then that would be even better. But we'll see how it goes.

I got the Miley Cyrus tickets today! Excellent seats. The concert is Nov 3 so Merry Christmas to my kids!

He would have to leave 8/17 & we were going to stay until 8/22 so 6 days.

I checked the Miley tickets for the NY venue (that we would have gone to if we were not moving) & they are sold out! Another good point about moving!

Nov 3 is our anniversary. We will be eating at the Cali Grill that night.

We are off to a BBQ at my friend house today. It's with all the girls I used to work with in my old job & all their assorted kids. Should be fun.

Oh & guess what??? The sun in shining!

The vet was impressed by how healthy Little Cat is. He gave Little Cat a de-worming treatment and tested him for feline leukemia and AIDS. Tests were negative. He gave us the name of a rescue group that might take Little Cat (IF we offer them a donation to offset their costs), but DH is balking at that. Vet said we need to be aggressive in finding a home for Cat NOW, because he is about 8 weeks old. If he gets much older he will be harder to place. He said having the negative tests will go a long way towards finding a home, so that's good.
