Well, we had a really good night with Timothy last night. We moved him into his crib in Jacob's room. I had to let him cry it out, but it didn't last as long as I though it would. He ended up sleeping from 10:00 to 1:30. I nursed him then, and he slept from 2:00 until 7:30. Hooray! Hopefully, this will keep up, and make our California trip much more pleasant for everyone!

This was always hard for me, letting them cry it out. But it is something that has to be done at some point. Hopefully Timothy will get use to his crib quickly :wizard:

I am exhausted and hardly did anything today.

I went to the doctor, I have a z-pack so hopefully I will feel better soon. I picked up my drugs.

I did some work, then took a nap. Now I am awake but still tired.

Josh and Kim welcomed baby John yesterday. He weighed 7# 12 oz and was 20 inches long. Perhaps he really is not 3-4 weeks early. Then they rushed Kim for other surgery. Mom and baby are both doing alright.

My Dad's surgery will be on June 17th.

Becky hope you feel better quickly :wizard: Congratulations to Kim & Josh!

:hug:for your dads surgery.

The boys and I are tossing around ideas for the trip. right now we are leaning towards a week in the Tree House Villas before the cruise (our points have to be used prior to the cruise) and a week or so at Universal after the cruise. We'll probably do SeaWorld in there too. We already have US tickets so no cost there. We'll use our points for our Disney stay so no extra cost there. The kids think this sounds awesome. Harry Potterland should be up and running by then.

Deb,,,the Epic cruise sounds wonderful. Have they posted prices yet?

Hunter's Team (and Chris') played tonight. They played the best they have all year, but still lost. It was a wonderful effort though. We stopped for ice cream on the way home. We found this wonderful country store that makes an unlimited variety of soft serve ice cream. They offered 55 individual flavors, but you could combine two or three flavors to suit you. Hunter had orange banana, Colby had Raspberry lemon, Nick had Orange Lime, I had Amerretto German Chocolate and Chris went with plain German Chocolate. They were really good. It isn't too far from here so it may be a new favorite for us.

Oh, I almost forgot. Colby's teacher said that he is doing very well in math. He has mastered time and money. She said that he is always the first with the answers. Now if we could get him to figure out the other subjects without disturbing the class :teacher:

Our weekend plans are forming. Nick's game for tomorrow morning has been cancelled as the opposing team doesn't have enough available players. Chris had decided to work as they are beginning to move into the new building and he'd like to be up and running on Tuesday. We thought that there was a fishing Derby tomorrow morning, but it turns out that it isn't until Sunday which means that Chris can go too :cool1: That sounds much better to me as trying to keep 3 kids lines untangled etc is a bit much for just me. So now the boys and I can sleep in tomorrow and I don't have to do anything until work at 3:45. Sunday we'll do the fishing derby and the rest of the weekend appears to be free. I'm sure we'll need to do wood at some point, but we should at least have some free time.

Our annual fishing derby was suppose to be last Sunday. It was canceled due to all the rain we got & flooding. The fish they had stocked the lake with went over into a neighboring lake. 1st time I can ever remember not having one.

Enjoy your weekend!

I'm glad you are able to make your vacation work. It doesn't matter where you go as long as you get away. Heck we're just camping in Maine this year. We are okay with it as we have 2 big vacations in the works over the next 3 1/2 years. We just need something to work towards :thumbsup2

I'm feeling fine today. Whatever it was, it lasted about 12 hours. The sleep did me a ton of good as I wasn't even tired today at work.

I am having a similar problem....it came up about 3 hours ago....I am hoping it only has 9 more hours.

I am just glad it didn't start during the ceremony (which was actually quite nice). I had my blonde moment of the century today....it didn't occur to me until I sat there for a couple of minutes that I was sitting on the same field 20 years ago....for my graduation. :rotfl:

Cassidy is out with Josh tonight....she is definitely in the throes of first love. :scared: He looked quite handsome today.

Old Navy is having flip flops on sale for $1 tomorrow so we will go pick up quite a few pairs of those and do the fabric thing to them for all of the girls graduation parties she/we have been invited to. (We were pity invited to one tomorrow night...and I am okay with that.:rotfl2:)

Tia I hope your allergies do not bother you to badly :wizard:

Theresa glad all went well at the graduation today, enjoy the party tomorrow!

Speaking of 1st loves, the girl that is supposedly not Garretts girlfriend(the one that he has know for a few years & went to Sweetheart Swirl with)told him that she loves him  This sorta freaked Garrett out & he backed away from her for a little while(notice I said a little while lol). He told her that he felt they were to young & they will probably want to date others(smart boy, he does listen sometimes). He does want to stay friends with her & at the moment she seems to be content with this.

Theresa I hope that your sickies go away as fast as mine did :wizard:

Thanks everyone, I would like to try it just once.

Bernadette we liked lunch at CP very much, won't do breakfast at any buffet we are not big breakfast eaters. I am trying to convince John to do California Grill, but he won't dress up.

Stephanie and I have worn kaki pants, crop pants-- polo shirts and even matching t-shirts. some folks do dress up, but it does not seem to be a big issue any more.

You've got a wise man there, Janet. I hope he stays that way!

Theresa - feel better soon! :wizard:

Janet,
Your son has a good head on his shoulders.:thumbsup2

I am in such a good mood today. I don't know if it's the fact that summer is starting, the 3 day weekend, the news I had yesterday, or a combination thereof. I just hope nothing happens to spoil it!!!!

I think it's time for me to start planning a long weekend F&WF trip the first weekend in October. I can crash Elin's vacation. ;)

:yay::dance3::cheer2::banana:

I wanna crash Elin's trip next year. ;) Elin do you have your dates yet?

Not yet, but I can probably figure them out if given a little bit of time. You can't make reservations until 11 months out, right?

I am home. Traffic from Lynchburg to Fredericksburg was not bad until I got to one of the main routes leading into our fair city. The trip on Route 3 from The Wilderness (from Civil War fame) to my house took 45 minutes. It is only about 10 miles. As Tammi said the major roads around us were horrible today. I-95 was backed up from the beltway just outside of DC clear down to us ... 45 mile give or take.

I took some photos that I will upload and share sometime over the weekend. But right now I need to get some sleep. The reason I am back tonight and not sitting at the Formal Banquet and Concert is that I have to teach in the morning. Just 2 hours, but I still have to be up, showered and dressed and ready to teach by 8:45. I will see you all in the morning. Happy summer (almost!).

I think that I may actually get that ticker that I have been searching for. Not to Disney this year :sad2:, but I think that we may take a few days on Hilton Head after the drive to Nationals with perhaps a night in Savannah as well. My mother is looking into offering us some of their time share points to help us out. It will be a nice, little family vacation. I still have to work out all the details, though.

Yay for a trip! :cool1:

Thanks for the well wishes on the trip, I think we've started a new tradition, bad weather and some form of illness.

Out of the blue my sinuses decided to become infected and of course that's causing problems with the asthma, luckily I was able to get in to see my Dr. this morning and received a lovely shot, some antibiotics, and a new med for my nebulier, I'm hoping to nip it in the bud, as today and tomorrow are just travel, and groceries.

I'm packing up the computer after this post, I hope to do a fairly regular update on the trip report, and post pictures on Facebook for my daughter.

See you later!

Debbie, I hope you are feeling better! Have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

Maybe it's a new style and you are supposed to be gushing out all over. ::yes:: ;) :rotfl:

DH made some comment about me not being their target demographic.

This was always hard for me, letting them cry it out. But it is something that has to be done at some point. Hopefully Timothy will get use to his crib quickly :wizard:

Glynis, I am sure Timothy will adjust to his crib just fine! Hang in there! :wizard:

Becky hope you feel better quickly :wizard: Congratulations to Kim & Josh!

:hug:for your dads surgery.

Ditto!

You've got a wise man there, Janet. I hope he stays that way!

Theresa - feel better soon! :wizard:

Yikes! I don't want any girls to be in love with DS! :scared: Sounds like Garrett is handling it well!

Theresa - I hope you are feeling better. Glad you were able to attend graduation! :)

Sooo...
DS said he turned in that horrible, sloppy project. THEN he said they had until Tuesday to finish it, but he turned his in anyway! :scared1: THEN he said no, he didn't really turn it in, he doesn't know why he said he did. :sad2: So he has the weekend to re-do it and make it look nice.

He wants to take drum lessons. I told him I am fine with lessons, but the teacher HAS to understand that we are NOT buying a drum set. If that is OK, then he can have lessons. Maybe. Not sure how much we are talking about as far as cost. He said he wuld prefer to have drum lessons in the Fall instead of doing Theater.
