Terry - I'm so sorry for your friend's loss

Vicki - I hope your MIL is on the mend soon

Welcome Home Chanon

Theresa, How fantastic of you to help Josh. He will remember your help for many years to come.

Flooded????:confused3:confused3 gotta be a story in that.

He's a good kid....he deserves to not have to be too grown up before his time.
I figure there is too...but since he wasn't home at the time we may never know the whole story.

Keep in touch with him. He needs a stable person to talk to. YOU are stable no matter what your home life is like

Theresa - I think you're just what Josh needs at this point.

Terry and Stephanie - I'm so sorry for your friends loss. We'll keep her in our prayers.

Tammi - Glad the shopping was productive.

Deb - :wizard: for your kitty.

Vicki - I hope MIL is doing better. Drive safely to Lansing.

Well, we had a good, but long and tiring day. Graduation was fine, though the speaker spoke way too slowly and wasn't the best speaker to begin with. After that, we grilled at Kristi's house and it was so yummy! BBQ chicken, pork steak, squash, zucchini and corn all on the grill, plus some watermelon. Delish. We were going to get ice cream as well, but Kristi's friends had been up since some ungodly hour as they flew in from Austin this morning. So, we'll go tomorrow after the zoo.

Tomorrow is looking to be quite interesting as we've got Terra's last dance class in the morning, then the zoo, then our last Girl Scout meeting, then Kassie's dance class. I was hoping to get part of my work shop done tomorrow as well, but I think it's just going to have to wait until Tuesday night. I'm not sure I'll make it to try tomorrow as I'm already dead tired.

For now I've got to get these sleepovering cousins off to bed. Good night all.

Oops, duplicate post. See I am tired.

We had the last recital of the spring season today:cool1:...poor Abi gives me the giggles...she gets nervous and fidgets even while playing.

We then went shopping to find Josh pants.....I know why the boy hates getting new clothes...he has an extremely hard to find size 33x34. We got him a new shirt and found pants at ARC that I will have him try on tomorrow...can't have the boy go nakie to graduation. :rotfl: I am not sure what his "parents" did to the house to flood one/two floors but they flooded it....I am trying to make sure he doesn't have extra to worry about (he needs to get his car working or he won't be able to keep his job once he moves in with his sister).

We then had fatburger and came home....why is it something you think won't take long takes forever??:confused3

Chanon-welcome home and your pictures are so cool!!

It's nice that you are able to help Josh through these tough times. Chris was much like Josh at that age and it is exactly this time in a young man's life where so many things could happen to paint his future. It's nice that he found you guys to help him find a good path

Me thinks this should be plenty of time to sleep :lmao:

I so wish. I think that was hopeful thinking :rotfl:

Good thoughts for your frined, Terry! :wizard:

I hope your MIL's foot is better soon! :wizard:

Welcome home, Chanon! :)

Well, DS was officially "discharged" from orthodontic treatment on Thursday. He has to wear the retainers at night forever, though. So he just dropped one in the sink and it snapped in half. :headache::headache::headache: I wonder how much the new one will cost? :sad2:

:scared:

Maybe third time is a charm? I keep trying to post my morning image and it looks like it posted, but then doesn't show up? :confused3

Now that is just weird. This is the second day that the boards have been all wonky for me?

Riley is not doing well this morning. He is clearly less stable on his feet and his meow sounds a bit airy at the end, maybe fluid in his lungs? His little tongue is hanging out too. I'm very sad this morning as I fear that when and if I take him to the vet today it could be his last trip :sad1: He ate all of his food last night and asked for more this morning, then he snuggled by my feet so that I could pet him. Now he is laying on his favorite blanket purring away

Deb - good luck with your decision on Riley.

Deb,
:wizard: for your kitty.

Vicki,
wizard: for your MIL.

Chanon,
Welcome home!!!

Terry,
I am so sorry to hear about your friend.:hug::hug:

Sorry Deb, it doesn't sound to good for Riley.

Good Morning DDA!

Chanon, great pics of Disneyland! We really need to get there someday!

Deb, poor Riley!

I know some of you know this already, if you are on FaceBook. Leighanna's stray cat "fluffy" that she found after we returned from WDW in Feb. gave birth to EIGHT kittens the day before Mother's day. All eight are growing, and their eyes are starting to open. Now, I have to find homes for all these kitties! I know we will NOT have 11 cats in this house! :scared1:

Time to get Leighanna up and ready for school. Three more weeks and I won't have to do this anymore! And more free time to do some fun stuff during the week!

Have a great day!
