So who's ready for ultrasound pics? (Well, those that aren't on facebook? :teeth: )

scan00021.jpg

Left: Foot! Nothing too exciting but they kept getting in the way so the tech took a pic.
Right: Best profile shot we got. No signs of DS and due date is spot on!

scan00011.jpg

Top Left: Hand! Once again, it kept getting in the way.
Top Right: Another profile attempt where an arm got in the way.
Bottom: Profile right after a stretch.

We had a great ultrasound tech but a baby that doesn't like to cooporate. :teeth: The baby hardly was still enough for a picture. It was neat to see the sections of the heart and where the umbilical cord attaches, spine and diaphram, the baby swallowing, and just general size shots. She warned us she's fasinated with hands because of all the movement they make this early...and it was cool to watch. The baby kept opening and closing and pointing and making a fist...it would have been cool to get the whole thing on DVD, even us talking and all that.
I'm anxious to start feeling the baby move - with all the movement it did today, it frustrates me a little. (I know soon enough I'll probably be saying this thing is kicking me really hard... )

So that's that. No more pics until birth! :rotfl: Official due date is the 15th of September.

Chanon - so no idea if he's a he or she's a she? It sounds like you were trying to find out. I'm glad everything looks healthy. It is exciting, isn't it? :goodvibes:

Marci - lots and lots of :wizard: for you as you endure all the pain and pt.

Very cool. You got some wonderful shots. I love the last profile shot. I want you to tip your head to the right and look at the foot shot, It looks like a Monkey's face (not to say that your baby looks like a monkey because he/she doesn't, but Chris was sitting to the right of me and wanted to know what I was looking at).

Hi Becky and Glynis. Long time no read. Glynis it sounds like life is busy, but also very fun. Becky you sound busy and you sound like you've made some concrete goals to work towards. good luck

Yes. Life got very busy suddenly. Hopefully, it will slow down some, now. At least until summer. I've still got a lot to do to get ready for Disneyland, but that's fun busy.

Chanon love the pics
Thanks!

Nope, we weren't trying to find out but she did mention that she passed over the area a few times while taking pictures when she was done. She did take a picture of the sex of the baby (for the doctor's eyes only!) and made us look away, but it becomes the last picture in the file and paperclipped to the one in front of it and my chart is apparently noted as "mystery baby" so the midwife/nurse doesn't let anything slip. I think they have their bases covered. ;) According to Lindsay, Bob and I are in "gender purgatory" for another 21 weeks! :rotfl:

Thanks for all the town car recommendations! I think I'll try to get a reservation with sunny one. The service I had from FL was OK but on our last time with them it the trip that I went early with Lizzy and then DH came a few days later. I begged the driver to let me do the grocery stop rather than DH and he said he didn't have time then he proceeded to make a personal phone call and tell that person he'd be off soon.:headache: I think they only offered grocery stop with a round trip service. So I never had a problem with them getting me where I needed to be on time but they didn't make an extra effort to help me out either.

I just checked my photos from my trip with Emma last year. We landed at 12:40 (on time) she wouldn't stop at that lady's room so we went right to the bus and I don't remember waiting to check in at all. Our room was ready so we went there and luggage services brought my groceries. It didn't take too long. We didn't get into Epcot until 5:30. I had a stroller for Emma so at least she could sit in that while we waited for the ME bus. I'm anxious to get to the resort on this trip. I really don't want to wait for an ME bus.

We got a Disney PIN :cool1::cool1:

our address, my mother's name
Then she'll have to go with you!

this has been the day from you know where.

I was out of the house for more than 4 hours for the job fair.....I spent maybe 20 minutes of it actually in the job fair...it stunk!! I then had to wait for a bus transfer for over 20 minutes....with a gentleman who didn't get the hint with my headphones and game out. :headache:

At least I've gotten my exercise in
:hug:Did you talk to anyone at the fair?

Hi! I hope you are all doing well.

This week has been wacky thus far. Tomorrow I have two chamber events and a camp meeting. This camp meeting is a last minute meeting, as they are going camping next weekend and are not prepared. I am not happy with them to say the least.

I need to get my butt back on the band wagon. I have said this more then once and am still not back in gear. I need to go buy jeans, as I need them for somethings and what I own do not fit. I have been looking and trying a bunch on but still have not found something semi-satisfactory. I think I am just gonna go and get whatever and not care, as I need them.

I need to eat healthy and exercise. I would like to lose about 60 pounds. I also need to exercise as back at the Princess Expo I got the crazy idea to sign up for the ING Distance Run. Well it was in my head before I got there, but the extra discount and the guy working the table convinced me to sign up. So it finally appeared on my credit card and now it seems real. It is a half marathon in Philly in September. Let's just say I need to train for it, there is no way I can do it without training. I still think I am crazy that I signed up for it. Hopefully I get the motivation to train and follow through with it.

I am being a lazy bum right now. I have relay crap I should be working on. Plus I should be cleaning. But I am sitting on my butt being lazy.
:wizard:Hope you can find time for yourself!

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I posted. I hope you all remember me ;);)

Easter was so fun at my dad's. He enjoyed having kids around, and I got to see some of the improvements he's made on the house since mom died. It all looks nice, and he loves it!

We brought his Yorkie home with us to dog sit while he went to my brother's in Syracuse, NY. It was a fun few days with a doggie, but I do remember, now, why I don't want another dog at this time. He got me up 3 times each night to go outside. With that, and Timothy, I haven't had much sleep for a while.

Now, the kids are back in school, and we are trying to get back into a routine. It's not easy! I'll be glad when summer is here! On the up side, Timothy has fallen into a nice nap routine lately. He's napping for 2 hours in the morning, and 2 more in the afternoon, and 1 in the early evening. It's nice to see a schedule emerging.

I read through all the pages I missed, and am sending hugs and pixie dust for all of you. Sounds like some of you really need some magic right about now.
Hi! How wonderful that Timothy is settling into a routine!

i swear this i s the never ending week! I cannot beleive its only Wednesday-
I agree!

So cool!!! Does this mean they think it is a princess:?

I turned 38 just before I had Lizzy so I had to have level 2 ultrasounds with all of my pregnancies. I remember the genetic dr telling me that an open hand on an ultrasound was a VERY good sign!:thumbsup2

You can get a gift card the value of the one day ticket-it cannot be used for food. I think merchandise and recreation-like a boat rental. I think it has to be used that day. You need a license or sealed birth certificate.

You can get a fast pass. I've heard different things on how that works. It is very limited. Unless you were going a a SUPER busy day I would get the gift card.

Who's birthday would this be? It can't be Virginia's (sorry I can't remember her date) because she wouldn't need a pass.

We have no idea what it is...only the tech and the doctor knows currently, not even our midwife knows yet. (I thought I worded it ok with just "the baby" or "it"..."she" actually means ultrasound tech.)

I was reading the "no sign of DS" as not a son but now I understand what you meant.

Jennifer-I can't remember if I got an email right away or not. I did get to print a form with a bar code. I did JUST get an email reminder this week with a link to print the form again.

Makes sense then! I forgot about DIS code! (And I probably shouldn't say "no signs" of downs, but should say chances are slim since she could see the nasal bone and the skin thickness measured normal.)

Now we have Lindsay's coming up soon! Hopefully she'll post some too...

Olivia's we will be landing in Orlando at 1:45 pm. I am thinking of renting a car. we should be checked in and on our way to MK by 4pm hopefully. Bummer about the food. Probably not the fast pass. But I doubt I will let her by souveniers that day. Hmm

well it finally took the registration. I did get the bar code thing but i cant print from the laptop as Jeff has not figured out how to make that happen, with the printer on the desk top.

You probably need a wireless print server, Jennifer.

Night all. I was already in bed asleep and then the phone rang. Now I am awake. I have to leave here in the 6:30 ish range in the morning. I will not get home until 10pm ish if I am lucky. I am trying to prevent total exhaustion. So I am trying to get back to sleep.
