The cake looks so good!

Yes, it does! No cake for me these days. I am making a half-a** attempt to lose weight.

He seems to be feeling pretty good, thanks for asking :goodvibes

Glad Gary is doing better, Janet!

Think good thoughts for Angie today. She has a stress test, and a bubble echocardiogram. The tests are supposed to last about 5 hours. She is so not looking forward to it.
Hopefully these tests will come back normal, or at least tell us what is going on!
Of course I have to work tonight, and I worked last night, so I won't be able to go. Her mom and sister plan on being there for her, so I know that she will be in good hands.

Many good thoughts for Angie!! :wizard:
Cute pic of Leighanna!

Tom - lots of :wizard: for Angie today. Leighanna's picture is adorable. She looks so grown up.

AnneMarie - beautiful pictures of Sophie. The last is my favorite.

Anne Marie, Sophie looks lovely! You'd never know she shaved off her eyebrow. ;)

:guilty:I can't even get hired by Target....I just don't know what to do anymore. :guilty:

I'm sorry, Theresa.

Morning, DDA!!:hippie:

Tom & Ann Marie, beautiful pictures!

:grouphug: for Angie & Tom

 Theresa! There's something better out there!

Tom, that's a cute picture of Leighanna. I'm definitely amused that she managed to sneak a plush into her picture! Lots of prayers for Angie!

Anne-Marie, Sophie's First Communion pictures are gorgeous! I'm glad you had such a great spring break!

We have been getting sleet almost all morning. :sad2: Of course its the storm that dumped all that snow in CO.

I'll share some pictures today, too. These are from Alyssa's 5th birthday session. :)

Amy too cute. :goodvibes

My cousin does the matching of clothes also, and I asked why? My aunt said because it makes the pictures look nice. :confused3 I would figure the pictures would look nice no matter what everyone is wearing.

Theresa -

Amy - you're pictures are blocked. :(

Great pictures, Amy! Somehow the last two years have flown by...it seems like Alyssa was just turning 3.

Hope all goes well for Angie today.:wizard:
 for you

As I was going through Leighanna's school folder this morning, I found her Spring pictures.
Why she didn't tell us on Friday that they were in, I don't have any clue. Unless it was because she failed to tell us that she snuck her pink and white stuffy into the picture!
Springpicture2009.jpg

Still a cute picture anyway!:goodvibes

cute Pic

Amy,
I love the one of them in a circle lying down..adorable!!! Alyssa is getting so big! (they all are but I notice more with her..love her little green flower dress)

Thanks for the comments about Sophie!:goodvibes
And yes her eyebrow grew back nicely!:rotfl2:

I need some travel advice, though I may not end up using it. :goodvibes

Laura's synchronized swim team may make Nationals in Gainesville, FL at the end of June-beginning of July. We'll be driving down to arrive on June 30th, and we're scheduled to leave July 4th.

It's killing me that I could be that close to WDW and not go, but I'm not sure that is the best choice. At most we could afford 3-4 days there at this time (both financially and time away). There are so many places that we could see between FL and here instead, and we'd arrive at WDW July 4th, so it would be crazy busy.

If you could go anywhere for a few days between NY and FL, where would you go? The kids have never really been to the beach (I know ), so I'm thinking a few days at the beach might be a good plan. Which beach?

Thanks to anyone who can offer some help! Unfortunately, if the team doesn't make Nationals, I won't be able to justify a big trip this summer. We are thinking of heading to Mystic, CT in that case.

ETA: Still not quite able to let go of WDW dreams...July 4th is on a Saturday, so most people probably get a Friday holiday. Do you think the crowds will still be horrible if we arrive at WDW on July 6th? I know that is always busy, but how busy?

What about Disney's Vero Beach or Hilton Head? We really enjoyed Vero Beach and while it wasn't over the top Disney, it still had some magic.

:guilty:I can't even get hired by Target....I just don't know what to do anymore. :guilty:

:hug:Keep your chin up, the perfect job is out there somewhere:hug::hug:

Yes, it does! No cake for me these days. I am making a half-a** attempt to lose weight.

So would the brownie cheesecake that I just ate be off limits too :rolleyes1
Besides you are on the dark side, no dieting for you ;)

Tom, Amy and AnnMarie great pictures :thumbsup2

Tom I hope everything is okay with Angie

I was wrong about how bad today would be

It was much WORSE:mad:

The new head lifeguard somehow justified having fewer guards scheduled this week then he does on normal non vacation weeks :confused3 Then one guard that was scheduled for today found out that his brother killed himself (we have no other information) and another called out sick. A third is new and didn't show up :confused3 So we were short staffed all day, had people continually complaining that the big slide wasn't opened and I worked an hour and a half late. Not to mention the stress level. I'm about ready to quit. If whatever agency that governs places like this were to come in, we would be shut down anyway as we are way understaffed. So I guarded for 8 1/2 hours with no breaks or even lunch. I did manage the potty a couple of times. Thank goodness I don't have to work tonight as I am not in the mood to do a good job.
