Okay, I am admitting I have been lurking on some other threads,,,,,,

But,,,they are pictures of food on the DCL and pictures of the day of the DCL.

December just cannot come soon enough.

I get the chance to post at night and everybody is still missing....:confused3I promise I showered (today even:rotfl:)
It was wonderful to be able to have the sliding door open all day and the heater off.
I have been doing laundry for about 12 hours now and am almost finally done!!

I am going to walk down to my friend's house tomorrow....as an escape...I've been making myself a recluse and I chose last week to take steps to not be. I think I have been keeping myself from this friend because she won't take any bull about my being fine and will want to know all the gory details...I wasn't ready before to give them.

good for you to get out and about

Pick-up time needs to be at least two hours from the time the order is placed, and you'll need to bring the copy of the order form as confirmation. The pick-up location is at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery.

Good Morning,

Robyn - how did the tattoo go?

I'm glad to hear that you are getting out. Just making small steps will put you in a better frame of mind. Hopefully a job opportunity will arise very soon too :wizard:

I'm usually up before my alarm goes off, but that wasn't the case this morning. Man I am tired. Hopefully I will wake up once I hit the cold air outside :scared: I have work, then lacrosse today. It will be busy, but I should have a bit of down time in there. Have a Great Day.

Hi,

Last day of school here before Easter break!:cool1:

So here is how I spent my Tuesday night!

IMG_0307.jpg

I was expecting something much smaller, but I love that it's as big as it is! I was there for 3 hours and was quite surprised he got as much done as he did. I have probably another 2 hours left, I go back April 21st.

It didn't hurt near as bad as I feared. Some spots definitely hurt more than others. It hurt to walk last night, but this morning it's not too bad.

Good morning DDA..

Thank goodness it's Wednesday. Last of school before Easter here, too. I really would welcome a night to just stay home and not have anything to do but I don't think it's gonna come anytime soon. Tonight is Em's jui jitsu and my WW night, tomorrow is Girl Scouts, Friday is Passover Seder with Eric's parents and Saturday evening Sara and I need to hide the eggs at my parents for the big hunt. Still need to get the girls to the Easter Bunny and we need to dye eggs. Maybe it'll all get done, maybe it won't.

Lots of 's and :wizard: all around. I was reading along yesterday but the kids were off the wall crazy and I never had time to think!! Today should be a bit calmer, at least I think.

Make it a great day!

morning!
seems like a lot of schools have off tomoorrow--we still have school. today we are dying eggs..tomorrow will be our spring party...then its break time!

Tammi - that's quite interesting what you posted. I'd never consider "chips" to be a gourmet side, or cornbread as a dessert.
I wonder how well it will go over.

Robyn - Your tattoo is amazing!

Tammi - interesting info. I agree with Chanon, though... it is almost like calling ketchup a vegetable

Deb - hope you "wake up" sometime today.

Schools seem to be starting Spring Break early this year! Most of our schools have a full day of classes on Friday (with the exception of our county and the Catholic schools, of course!)

Paula nice to see you post, Good luck to Ellie!

Bernadette I have a Dell with a 17" screen. It gets a little heavy toting it around when I do take it on trips with me. I love it though, good luck with your decision!

Glynis I hope Timothy is feeling better :wizard:

Tammi I hope RL is calming down for you

Theresa enjoy your day with your friend.

Robyn I love the tattoo!

Bernadette - Of course you need a laptop! ;)

Bernadette I have a 15 inch screen and really like it. Mine is an HP and it has had it's share of problems, but I think any laptop does. Overall I'm happy with it. I don't think I'd go with a smaller one as it is nice to view photos bigger and have the font bigger, ease of reading. Travelling with mine has not been difficult at all.

I could not live without a laptop. Well I could but you get the point. I use it way more often then my desktop. I sometimes go months without using my desktop at home that I built.

I have used sizes between 13.1 inch and 17 inch. I currently have the 13.1 inch and love it. It is so much easier to travel with. Is not nearly as heavy. I think it weighs about 5-6 pounds with the battery. My first laptop weigher 11 pounds. Plus when you get larger screens and higher resolution the text is smaller.

I have used pretty much every brand out there and had some sort of issue with all of them. So I am not going to recommend a brand. My next laptop will probably be a Macbook. Jut try out what you are looking into buying and look at online reviews. Make sure the power cord is thicker and be super careful with them. I always seem to destroy the cord.;)

Bernadette I have a Dell with a 17" screen. It gets a little heavy toting it around when I do take it on trips with me. I love it though, good luck with your decision!

Thanks for all the encoragement and advice. I'm leaning toward a Dell XPS 13" with 2.2 GH processor, 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive for $849. The Mac books start at $999 with 2.0GH, 2GB Memory, 120GB hard drive or $1,299 for aluminum unibody with 160GB hard drive. I have a Mac desktop so I was thinking it might be nice to have a windows based machine as not all software is available for the Mac.

I've spent the evening reading a website, watching youtube video and a news report on a couple that lifeguards with me. All I can say is wow, a bit too strange for me. If you'd like to see their house, here is the link

I'm too old for that!

It was wonderful to be able to have the sliding door open all day and the heater off.

It was in the 30's this morning. Lizzy has band at 7:30am on Wednesdays so I drove her to school and told her it felt like Orlando. It was in the 30's a couple of mornings when we left the room in January.

Congrats on getting the laundry done. I didn't finish ours this weekend.

:hug:Get out of the house today! It might be hard to get out but you'll feel better if you do it!

That sounds pretty interesting!

Exactly. I'm wondering where the picnic pavillions are going to be. Are there going to be something specific, or just find a spot at any of the outdoor eating areas like Flame Tree and Pizzasaurus? :confused3

We have a 1/2 day on Friday.

Nicholas has been complaining of headaches recently so I made an eye appt. for him on Friday. After that we will be heading to my parents' for the weekend.

Tammi I hope RL is calming down for you
Thanks, Janet. I just need to learn to not worry about what I can't control. Unfortunately this issue is huge, having to do with the refinance. Evidently it's not going as smoothly as I anticipated, and now lawyers are involved. And when I feel like the walls are closing in on me, my way of dealing with it is to close myself off and hole up in my own little cave. Which is why I haven't been posting much. I miss it, so I need to break out of my shell and get back to my friends. :grouphug:
