I still need to do my taxes

I got our taxes sent out in the mail yesterday. We are getting a large refund!

There is no such thing as a silly question!

Apparently, the chiro can do an adjustment which should improve the drainage of her ear tubes. I am hoping that she still has fluid in her ears on Wednesday!

My SIL had this done, and she said it did drain a ton of fluid, but it left her with a horrible sore throat (from all the drainage), so be aware of that with Lucy.

We still have to do ours. I've done my part: gathering all the papers together in one place. Alan will do the rest. Hopefully before tax day. He usually mails it on April 12, so we'll see what happens this year.

Colby was up at midinight vomiting We put him back to sleep on the futon in our room and he slept fine the rest of the night. Hopefully it was a fluke and he will be A okay this morning.

I need to go back and catch up but I just read an interesting series of posts on the Dining Board about online booking of ADRs. I don't know how valid any of this is, but a poster over there claims he emailed: WDWDine@disney.go.com and got all his desired ADRs confirmed within 45 minutes of his requests. This is a DISer who has been hounding the posters on the board for info about online booking so, when pushed as to why he used that address he said he had been trying numerous email addresses in hopes that one would work and this one elicited a positive response within 36 hours. He also went on to state that he doesn't know whether or not it is "real" or if someone read it and spread a little PD his way, but he called back the next morning and confirmed that all the ADRs were in the system.

Good golly!! I thought there would be more to catch up on this morning since I left last night.

Good Morning all!! I promised Cassidy that her boyfriend could come over this afternoon for dinner (it's his birthday) so I need to do the cleaning that Jim was supposed to do in the last 3 weeks, laundry and the dishes. So if I am on this afternoon...make sure I've done the cleaning (laundry I can do while on)

Deb - Hope Colby is okay this morning.

We've got a pretty slow day going, at least until 7pm. Then, I've got to get Rachel to and from dance, plus I need to finish up my Target work. Some of that may happen tomorrow as well though. Otherwise, we're just spending the day at home with housework, laundry, etc. I've got to find the big dining room table sometime before Sunday otherwise we'll be eating Easter dinner on the living room floor. I don't have the baby Wed-Fri, though, so I'm thinking Thursday will be the day for that.

It's been nice actually getting a chance to catch up all of my online stuff though. Of course, I think Terra just woke the baby up (accidentally, the baby's a light sleeper and Terra was playing in her room just talking with her toys) so I guess that time is over for now. Better get moving on the laundry at least in case the baby really is up for good.

Hi everyone. Sorry that I have been horrible at not posting. I'm still here, reading along. I hope you all are doing well. Deb, how is Colby this morning?

I finally finished my musical montage slide show that I started 2 years ago. I'm pretty proud of it. If anyone wants to see it, PM me your email.

One thing I did learn, though, was not to use so many pictures of the same thing. I'll warn you, it gets monotonous in places.

Sorry it has been so long. I need to give you the lowdown on our lives.
We went to the Oprah auditions and Ellie had a great time. We drove right after school and made it there by just before 10 pm. The hotel didn’t have our reservation, but I had the printout saying we had one. So that was fixed.
Got the girls ready for bed and the stinkers would not sleep. They wouldn’t sleep and kept waking up.

Ellie and I got up at 6 to ensure we had enough time to curl her hair a bit and walk a few blocks to the audition. We got in line at 7:30 and had about 50 people in front of us. They started registration late by a half hour. We had her 90-second (they timed it) audition and got back to our room by 9:45. We had breakfast and got on the road to come home.

The next day I went to work at the base for the day and my mom hung out with the girls.

Then Monday comes and Bethie threw up during dance class. Oh the fun. She kept that up all night.
I kept her home from school Tue, but then I get a call to pick up Ellie because she lost it during computer class. GREAT! Two kids sick and I have no clue why. So she stays home Wed. GUES WHAT? I got it Wed. Oh the fun never ends.

Thurs and Friday was catch up days and then I worked again this past weekend at the base. It has been one ever so long two weeks.

I have no idea when we will hear from Oprah or if we will at this point, they had 700 kids show up that day. So we are happy we went and she had a great time.
Oh, she met this “rocker” guitar player boy who she thought was all that and a bag of chips. It was so cute to see her blush next to him. And then she says to me, it’s hard being a Rock Star mom. I almost fell over it was so cute and funny.

Off to Easter parties at the school and then we have break next week.
