Wow, that is horrible  Could she move in with you guys for awhile? I know that Chuck worries a lot and you're gone quite often :confused3

I have told him that he needs to talk to her about that. I will be continuing to work on that. She has appointments right now that stop that from being an option. Hopefully, she'll have the lumpectomy by the end of next week (it is currently scheduled for Friday) and maybe we'll know by then if there are other health issues. She did make it home from the hospital yesterday and Katrina is with her until tomorrow. Chuck will head over on Sunday and stay until Monday.

Does anyone have the photopass CD prepay site? I want to purchase my CD from March before the pictures expire. Thanks. Vicki

We are home. We got up this morning to 2" of snow and had to drive the 1st hour through more of it. The next hour in the U.P. was just a light rain and it was clear the rest of the way.

The Dr's office just called & everything is ok :cool1: He has a cyst on both Kidneys & they are nothing to worry about. He may have to go in for another urine test, but he is in the clear! Boy is that a weight off our shoulders.

Thank you all for the good thoughts & prayers. I knew deep in my heart that all would be ok, but you just never know.

I am so happy :yay::yay::yay:

ETA: He is being referred to see a urologist just to be sure all is well with the other issues.

:woohoo: Party time!!!!! Such wonderful news.

This has been the oddest day, weather wise, in a long time! We had a nice day yesterday, but by the evening, it was cloudy. It began to rain while I was at book club. It rained all night long, and by morning it had turned to snow. I drove to bowling this morning, in a light snowstorm. After bowling, it had gone back to rain, so I ran to Barnes and Noble to get books for the kids Easter baskets. When I came out of the bookstore, there was a blizzard going on! As I drove back home, it stopped snowing, and went back to rain. I stopped to get gas, and the wind almost knocked me over! So strong! Now, I'm home, and it's cloudy, but no moisture! I'm sure perplexed by this spring weather!

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. After the hour of rain, I also stopped for gas and was almost blown over. I could feel the wind pushing on the car for at least an hour after the rain stopped.

I am so relieved to see your news Janet. So very happy for you and for Gary.:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm sick.:sick::sick:

59 more posts and I think I'll be changing my username (and starting out with a post count of 0). I am Disney Yooper on other sites and have decided I like that better. I get too many questions on what UP Disney means and am uncomfortable putting that on tags, etc. while at Disney.

Hallelujah! :goodvibes

I am glad everyone made it home OK through the odd weather that seems to have hit us all.

Vicki - I never thought of your user name being the least bit odd until you said something! I can still find you as Disney Yooper! :)

Janet - Great news!!!! I'm so happy to hear that it isn't anything to be concerned about. What a great way to head into the weekend!

Happy birthday Alyssa!!!

Good evening all!

Janet - That is absolutely wonderful news!!! I'm glad the report was good, but also that Gary is going to follow up with another doctor as well.

Glynis - Sounds like nice plans for Easter. I know your dad will love it.

Tammi - I'm sorry that it's rough going right now. I hope things smooth out with xh soon.

Vicki - Good luck working things out for the best with MIL. I know it's a tough situation for you all.

Jen - Prayers for you all during the funeral this weekend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALYSSA!!!!

I apologize if I missed anyone. I caught up over about 4 sessions throughout the day and lost my multi quote one page from the end when the kids closed my window. Argh.

how are you feeling?

hanging in there..it was a really rough night, but very touching to see the firefighter walk through--all of the off duty firemen walk in together--there was at least 600 men and women. Plus, there was another couple hundred on duty that took turns coming in. Manny's friend gave a speech and it was beautifully done--at the end, it just so happened that a firetruck went by with sirens on--it was amazing.

We are leaving the house by 7:30 tomorrow to head to the meeting place. Frm there, they will have buses for the departments firefighters and families to go to the church, then cemetary. I know tomorrow is going to be hard so we are all just trying to pull together

We had another typical day running all over creation today. Luckily, Terra was having a much better day and didn't complain a bit after her initial protests of running errands. Over the course of the morning/early afternoon we ended up at two coffee shops (one for a meeting and one to drop something with Erin), Home Depot, Aldi, Joann moving location liquidation (yeah!), kids resale shop, RedBox, gas station, bank, and McDonald's for some well-deserved play time. I've still got to get to Target, but can't go until mom and Rachel get back. Since they are out "flocking" a couple of church members' homes with flamingos, my trip may get moved to tomorrow.

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? So far, we're just cousin sleepovering. Since Terra's mood has improved and she still hasn't shown specific signs of illness (and since Kassie finally cleaned up her room) Terra, Kassie and Connor are having a sleepover here tonight. Up soon....ice cream sundaes! (At least there are some benefits to the craziness. ;) )

Sounds like a wonderful service Jennifer.
