the weather was crazy on my way home..it was raining when i left work, 2 minutes later it was raining so badly that i had my wipers on high...one side of the road was pitchblack, the other blue with big puffy clouds. It was the most bizarre ride home. The rain woudl start and stop and start and stop constantly. cars were in the medians everywhere and i even saw a state trooper stuck....i was glad to get home and it seems like the rain has stopped.which is good since were getting ready to head out!

The Dr's office just called & everything is ok :cool1: He has a cyst on both Kidneys & they are nothing to worry about. He may have to go in for another urine test, but he is in the clear! Boy is that a weight off our shoulders.

Thank you all for the good thoughts & prayers. I knew deep in my heart that all would be ok, but you just never know.

I am so happy :yay::yay::yay:

ETA: He is being referred to see a urologist just to be sure all is well with the other issues.

Chuck's mom has finally admitted that she is afraid to be alone at night. We now need to work on how to help her deal with this. Katrina is on her way to be with her tonight. She is coming home from the hospital. I can't remember if I let you all know that she went back in on Sunday night.

Her lumpectomy had to be rescheduled. We also found out that she may need a pacemaker.

She told the home health nurse that she didn't want their help. She told them that she just found her husband dead in the bathroom 6 months ago and she found her father dead in the bathroom about 60 years ago. She told them she just needs to be left alone for awhile.

:hug::hug:

I'm sure this is going to be hard for a while. I'm praying for all of you!

Hi, I'm here and reading along. Things in RL regarding xh are a bit tense right now, so I'm emotionally drained and not really up to posting. I am still reading along. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. :hug::wizard:

:hug::hug:

I'm sorry things are icky, right now! Anything we can do?

Anyone have plans for Easter? We are hoping to have family over & cook out if the weather cooperates. If not family will still come over & we will figure something else out.

We are taking the kids to my dad's house. He will be back from his trip, and wants us all to come to his place. I'll cook a ham, and all the sides, and we'll have a hunt for the kids. Should be fun! We're also on spring break then, so Alan is taking time off work, and we're going to explore Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Beautiful areas. I'll take my camera so you can all see it with me!

Good Morning all!!

It seems a few of us haven't had the will, desire or time to post...no wonder our posting sprees have been few and far between.:hug::hug:

I went and enjoyed the cooking class (and won the grocery bag....didn't have much in it, but stuff I needed). He did meatballs, spaghetti sauce, bruschetta. Laurel did a lady finger tiramasu dipper which was scrumptious.

The meatballs were :confused3, the spaghetti sauce was great...but he didn't let the wine simmer off enough (I also think he added too much to begin with:rotfl2:) but I think I will try it at home.

The bruschetta topping was fabulous!! I decided to change it up a bit to see if it would work as a tomato mozzerella salad.

I then came home to watch the finale of ER....it was great:goodvibes

I'd love to see the recipes if you feel like sharing!

I AM BEYOND GLAD!!!!! I'm so glad that all is well, and that you didn't have to wait through another weekend to find out! Now, you two need to go out to celebrate! Go somewhere you've always wanted to, but never got around to it! Life's too short to have a bucket list! Do those things together NOW!!!

I'm so glad that he's going to see the urologist! Continued good thoughts!

Sounds wonderful! I miss the egg hunts :guilty:

Ours are not really "hunts." We do hide a set amount of eggs for each child. Then we take wrapped candy, and literally just throw it around the yard, so each child is guaranteed a full basket! Everyone walks away with candy and eggs, and nobody's little feelings get hurt. Win/win situation!

This has been the oddest day, weather wise, in a long time! We had a nice day yesterday, but by the evening, it was cloudy. It began to rain while I was at book club. It rained all night long, and by morning it had turned to snow. I drove to bowling this morning, in a light snowstorm. After bowling, it had gone back to rain, so I ran to Barnes and Noble to get books for the kids Easter baskets. When I came out of the bookstore, there was a blizzard going on! As I drove back home, it stopped snowing, and went back to rain. I stopped to get gas, and the wind almost knocked me over! So strong! Now, I'm home, and it's cloudy, but no moisture! I'm sure perplexed by this spring weather!

We've had mainly cloudy all day...rained just now for a few minutes...and may have another blizzard overnight.

Spring in the west=beautiful,snow, beautiful, snow:rotfl:
