DDA Chapter 20

Somebody needs to monitor her. The other day she was posting about going clubbing with a fake ID. :sad2:
Here's the thing. You can monitor her all you want, but there isn't anything that you can do about it. She won't listen to you. Your mom won't listen to you. Ms. Selfish won't listen to you. The only thing that comes from your monitoring is you getting yourself into quite the tizzy over her. I'm sorry she is behaving the way she is. :hug:

You make a valid point. I do think Mom would intervene if Diva managed to obtain a fake ID.

Sorry I did not post an update last night, Thank you Chanon :goodvibes

We did hear from the Dr. & Gary will be going in for a contrast ct scan, they will call today to let us know when the appointment is. He has a cyst on his left kidney which they say is nothing to worry about & he has a mass on his right kidney. The right kidney is their concern & what they will be looking at more.

This isn't what we were wanting to hear. The mass may turn out to be nothing(hoping & praying), but we are both worried now. We are still at the not knowing stage & it is killing me. I don't think Gary slept at all last night :guilty:

So please keep those good thoughts coming his way.

Janet,,,:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::hug::hug:

Does anyone find it odd that Jen gets 3 meds after being sick for a week, and Deb's entire family is sick for a month and she practically has to give up her first born to get some medication.

I hope you feel better. :wizard:

I'm glad they called and got you in quickly.

You, with older girls! :mad: Why didn't you warn me! :mad: Someone please explain to me why, when my almost 7 year old has several drawers FULL of clothes, I should hear her exclaim from her bedroom "I don't have anything to wear!"? How could it start this young??? :sad2::rolleyes::faint::rotfl2:

I thought the same thing when I left there! I didnt go in asking for anything specific and had no idea i was getting 3 meds

I'm going to ask for some prayers and pixie dust, I found out this evening that my dad will be having a heart cath Wednesday. He has already undergone a triple bypass, (or it may have been a quad), and more recently they had to put in a pace maker, which is runninf his heart at least 90% of the time.

I feel very strongly that the news won't be good, but let's pray that I am wrong.

Prayers being said, Debbie! I hope it's good news.

Absolutely, Janet! Prayers and good thoughts are winging your way!

Any news on your mom, Heidi?

Sorry the tween age years are hitting early, Tammi!

Leslie went back to school today, but she's still coughing quite a bit. I expect a call from the school to come get her in a bit! Mary is home now. I don't really think she's sick, but she is coughing almost as much as Leslie was, so we kept her home. In all honesty, I think she wanted some alone time with me like Leslie had yesterday.

Nothing much on the agenda today. I'm washing t-shirts in anticipation of ironing on the design this week. Other than that, I'm open. I don't even have to cook tonight, since the dinner the last 2 nights made oodles, and I need to get rid of them to open up the fridge space. So, I'm going to snuggle with Mary and Timothy, and maybe make some cookies later.

Dawn called at 10:30 mom is fine and she doesn't have to stay overnight, however she has to stay until 12 as she woke up with a bad case of the hives. The doctor is not sure what cased the hives, either a shot they gave her before the procedure or the dye. So they loaded her up with Benadryl and that makes her sleep.

Tammi I would have walked out with drugs on my first visit too. I'm thinking Deb might need a new doctor.

I am sorry, I thought I warned you:confused3:lmao: Cassidy is constantly wanting to get new clothes. Abi used to care less what she wore (that is changing...as Cassidy said "I am so proud of my sister she is becoming a girl":rotfl:)

But, in this house Jim is the worst offender.:rotfl2:

Heidi-glad to hear your mom is doing okay

Becky-I am glad to hear your dad is doing okay also. What a stay in the hospital he had!!

Debbie-your dad continues to be in my prayers

Deb-I am so glad you got so much accomplished yesterday. Sounds like everybody (including Riley) is on the upswing!:goodvibes

Janet-I am sorry that news was so iffy, but I am glad they got him into a CT so quickly. Hopefully, the answers will be faster in coming this go round.

Elizabeth-listen to Tammi!!

Beth-way cool about the GPA...though I will admit I have only heard of GPA's being on the 4 point scale. I love that I learn something new all of the time from my DDA family!

Glynis-I think you might be right about cuddle time. Cassidy has filled out the information out to set herself up an actual potential at the University of Utah. (It's her second choice...of course she only has two choices:rotfl:)

Jen-I hope you get to feel better soon.

to those I missed :hug::hug::hug:

I find it scandalous. And that is only partly in jest! I do know that there are other health issues for Jen, but a MONTH with no improvement is a little odd, I think!

Janet - I am glad they got Gary in quickly. :grouphug:
