So I woke up feeling worse than when I went to bed.

If I missed anybody or anything I am sorry but I will have a chance to catch up as we are in the midst of a blizzard...so I am not going anywhere.

Oh no. Are you still dealing with the flu? I definitely had a relapse last night and my cough is still bad today, but I'm functioning okay. I hope that you are feeling a lot better by now.

nope, this is totally new...I have an inflammed throat. I will say it is a bright spot in my unemployment that I haven't had to drag my butt to work.

Thanks, we are back. Double ear infections so we are on a "Strong" antibiotic. Let's just hope this works. We see the ENT on Apr 6. Our doctor looked over her chart a bit more today and seems to think we may not get them. I told her that I am sure we will. Why, because the ENT is pretty liberal. I'm not sure that's a great thing all the time but I would much rather have tubes put in and not have Lu on antibiotics for over a month.

We also need to see an ophthalmologist as the doctor noticed her left eye wandering. I swear just minutes before she walked in I thought her eye looked off, the 1st and only time I've thought that so we will see where that leads.

I should have clarified the blizzard....we will probably get about 6 inches of snow(so not a ton)....it's the wind that will make it the blizzard. Gusts of up to 50 miles an hour...creating white outs.

You picked a good day to be sick. It's not a good day to be out and about! Since Timothy has a cold, he and I have been housebound since Tuesday. I'm going stir crazy. I think I'll have Alan babysit him tomorrow while I go bowling and to get Jacob an Easter outfit. I need some quality "me" time!

the funniest part of this is I wanted to make cookies, so I did. I have also run one load of dishes through the dishwasher and a load of towels is in the dryer.

Of course, I am now ready for a nap.

So, I called DCL and made sure they have Stephanie's and my birthday information. Asked questions about the airlines they use and as many other questions that I could think of for now.

Besides Jennifer, Kyle and the twins, and Becky who are going,,,,,anyone else we could convince to go on this cruise???????

I cannot wait. This is a trip of a lifetime and a perfect way to celebrate our turning 60. :

Terry thanks for the cruise offer, while it is very tempting it is not a time of year that we can vacation. Too much going on with the start up of school and all the activities that come with. You will have a great time though.

I know for a lot of people that time of the year is hard. School just underway, hurricane season, and a big block of days. We talked long and hard and read a lot of trip reports and it seems that the captain tries real hard to stay in calm waters and that meant a lot. There was no way we could pass this up.
